First time here. We were on our way up north and stopped in for a hot beverage. It's part of a small strip mall on the west side, with a few metal café tables for outdoor seating. Inside is a large area with plenty of seating, plus some additional rooms for groups to meet. We received a friendly greeting and helpful service at the counter. I ordered my usual London Fog (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and they did a great job preparing it. I also ordered a Cranberry Orange Scone, which they warmed up. After a few minutes (to allow the tea to steep), both items were ready. The London Fog was excellent -- flavorful, balanced, and not overly sweet. The scone, however, was disappointing; though warmed, it tasted dry and stale. Two other issues detracted from the visit. Much of the furniture looked worn and past its prime, and there were flies throughout the space that were a constant distraction. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. While the beverage was very good, the food quality and atmosphere would keep us from recommending or returning. read more

Never judge a book by its cover ? Sure the bad part knock a star off because the neighbors in the strip mall will tow your car on a busy Sunday . Great little cafe with a well rounded array of coffees, latte, chi etc. The lunch and breakfast selection isn't huge but the food is outstanding in price to portion and very tasty. Service is also a featured item at this location; warm friendly staff. Seating is nice little tables not too close but still can seat a nice group of patrons and a back room if you have a larger group or a small special event. We've been to this locations years ago and now that we are back in Waunakee, WI. We stopped because of great service and food. While things have changed, nothing has changed. This place is aggressively adorable. Tons of charm, tons of personality. Excellent excellent coffee. Oat milk, almond milk, and soy milk are like $0.60 extra. A large latte with almond milk cost me like $4.60 which is a very low price for how good it was and how well it's made. There's a ton of different seating (and table!) options. It looks like a tiny little store front, but keeps going and going and going. This place is absolutely massive so you're always sure to find a seat. read more

Get the BLT salad it's delicious! We like ordering ahead for an office lunch and our food is always ready to go when promised and everything is correct. The dining rooms is an odd mix of old dining room tables and mismatched chairs but it works for them and their daily crowd. read more

Went here on a Saturday morning to grab some breakfast for takeout. The place was pretty busy but people seemed to be spaced out okay. You order at the register and then they bring the order out, or so we thought. We places our order and I think the cashier was a little new or just tired, because she didn't seem to know what the choices were for the bagel sandwich. We also told her that we were going to wait outside because there were a few people inside and you know, we're supposed to distance. After about 15 to 20 minutes of waiting we finally went inside to check if our order was ready and it was sitting in a bag on the counter. Not really sure how long it was there, but at least everything was still hot. As for the food we got a multigrain bagel sandwich with egg and pepperjack and the veggie breakfast sandwich. The bagel sandwich was way too salty for my taste. We weren't sure if it was the egg that got over salted or the cheese, but I couldn't eat it. The veggie breakfast sandwich was pretty good as it was on a multigrain bread with spinach, tomatoes, eggs, and cheese. It wasn't anywhere near as salty as the bagel sandwich, but I think they maybe use a salted butter on the breads for the sandwiches. I do appreciate that this place does have options of bagel choices though. Overall, it was fine, but I dont think that I would order the breakfast sandwich again, probably go with a different breakfast option or one of the pastries that looked pretty tasty. read more

I loved the atmosphere of the coffee house, the ladies at the counter were so nice. It was a very friendly and inviting, everyone knew their name. I had a breakfast smoothie that was really good and the fruit parfait was awesome. My only complaint is that my eggs smelled like it might have been in made in a pan that had gone fish in it. My sandwich was absolutely scrumptious! I don't remember the name but it was really delicious. This place is equipped with with Wi-Fi and plenty of space to dine and study. The only thing I did not like is that you're not given a number or something for your food. I'm glad to see a coffeehouse in Waunakee. It's got Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. The coffee is so-so as is the service. But it's a local joint and I appreciate this. I'll take a local joint over a chain any day. This said there's not a chain in Waunakee anyway. They seem to do a fair amount of food service in addition to coffee. If your waiting for your tires to get installed next door this is a great place to hang out. read more

Surprisingly charming. From the outside, this place does not look very inviting. The parking lot could be a little bigger. However, when you step inside, it is warm and cozy. There are several types of seating options. A faux fireplace, a counter, a reading nook and family style seating. The service was wonderful. It was my first time there and I had LOTS of questions. I ended up trying the house specialty Chelsey sandwich. For $7.50, I got a bowl of soup and half a sandwich. The "half" was easily a WHOLE. The sandwich was delicious. Hot, fresh and flavorful. I am not 100% sure what was in it. Chicken? Cheese? Spinach? Delicious goodness? Yes and yes and yes and yes. I definitely plan to return. read more

I dropped by the opening of M-N-M's new location and came away impressed. They converted what was an old water softener manufacturing plant into a cozy space for finishing a work project or catching up with friends over coffee. Things I like: * There are four or five varieties of Colectivo coffee to chose from, always served hot and fresh. Bags of whole beans are available as well for the DIY crowd. * Free refills * Counter staff are super friendly, whether you are a regular or infrequent patron. * The fireplace, with a sofa and comfy chair strategically placed nearby. * The tables are not densely packed, allowing you to have a conversation with your tablemate and not the neighboring tables. * Chocolate Shoppe ice cream * Free, fast wi-fi (but you'll need to ask for the password) Things I don't: * The baked goods are lackluster. The scones are far too soft - no exterior crust to provide contrast. (Note to self: Try to foster a strategic partnership with Batch or 4&20 or Bloom to import their baked goods into Waunakee.) * Their hours change seasonally, leading to an occasional unfruitful ice cream or caffeine run. The customer loyalty program is through Belly - twenty visits gets you a free coffee. M-N-Ms also has a light breakfast and lunch menu, but those items did not factor into my rating. A very good place to stop for breakfast. I followed my fellow Yelper recommendations and tried their tastes. The drinks... get a smoothie. They are delicious. The coffee is good but the smoothies are the thing to get. I got the scrambler and it was really good. The bacon, sausage, cheese, eggs, and vegetables were a great combo. It wasn't greasy and it wasn't too much to eat. I'm on a drive so I didn't want something too heavy. The pancakes are okay but there are so many better things to get. read more

I really like this place! I have a newborn, so my friend and I sat in one of the rooms for some privacy. It's great for folks with kids as they can play and run around in the room if they wanted. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was fully loaded, which was really good. The mocha latte was average, but still good. Service was also very friendly. My husband and I stopped by today for lunch. He had the Chelsey Special (grilled chicken, bacon, tomato, spinach, provolone cheese, ranch dressing on grilled sourdough bread). I had the Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Wrap (sliced turkey lunch meat, provolone cheese, hummus, tomato, spinach in an herb wrap). Really delicious and fresh! I also got an iced latte that had bold, smooth espresso. The new location is nice and spacious, with a relaxing, casual atmosphere. There is plenty of seating--about 7 or 8 tables that eachseat 2-7 people, a few couches near a gas fireplace, two counters with stool seats, and two enclosed rooms with tables for meeting or quiet time. Overall, I would highly recommend M-N-M's Coffee House as a wonderful local place to relax and have some delicious food and coffee. read more

This is my neighborhood coffee shop and I've only been here twice...what is wrong with me?! This place is amazing and SO unexpected. Don't let the somewhat boring exterior deter you from going in! Cozy, modern, comfortable...everything you'd expect for a good coffee shop awaits you inside And yes, a fireplace!! I had one of their pesto type sandwiches on gluten free bread the first time I went and it was VERY good, better than I'd expect for a coffee joint. This past time I was there I got their pumpkin spice latte with soy, and I loved it. It wasn't too sweet like you sometimes get at larger chains. Great service and coffee! We recently discovered this coffee shop recently and already have become a regular.

Don't let the plain exterior discourage you. The inside of the shop is cute and well-laid out. The scones looked great and coffee bar smelled amazing. As a bonus there's an adorable play room for kids. The restaurant was pretty crowded for a Thursday morning, however there is also very little competition in Waunakee. There's also a good selection of yummy looking real ice cream. If you want a cute place to meet up for coffee, it works. If you want a real meal for breakfast or lunch you'll have to keep traveling. Parking is fairly limited, but since it's not a large place it suffices. And there's street parking next to the building available if needed. read more

This is the cute coffee shop a cute town like Waunakee needs! It's not in the adorable, but mostly vacant downtown, but in a strip mall past the round-about, but don't let the outside fool you. The atmosphere is cozy, lots of ladies of different ages chatting or working, when I was there. There is even an enclosed play room for kids to keep nose down. Coffee is from Collectivo (everyone had their own feelings on this - I am underwhelmed), but the quiche was tasty, and there is a lot of seating, without feeling crowded.
