Pretty hard to make a mistake while making these sandwiches, but this store does, consistently. Service is very rude and unpleasant. I actually wish the best for these folks and hope they find something they actually enjoy doing. read more

Food service in ambience is always amazing. The staff there are also very friendly. The Baja chicken cheesesteak is usually what I go with.

generally a 5-star sandwich shop, but 3 for now. delivery. Jersey mikes tend to douse their sandwiches in whichever sauce it comes with so that it's like fat slobbery slop. it's good but when you get it delivered and ask them to put in the side they don't at least not at middleton wi location. so sandwich comes without sauce period or they ignore and it's soggy by the time you get it delivered. $29 dollars for a sandwhich delivery? i could go to a steak house for that. understand your delivery customers or lose all delivery customer. you'll still do well I am sure... but... free money thrown away read more

Stopped here for lunch two days in a row not just because my sandwich was great, but because the service was fantastic at this location. I was greeted right when I walk in the store and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating of my and all the other customers. Nice sunny spot to enjoy a great sub. read more

OMG! OMG! We saw one coming in Sun Prairie never thought to check the area for other locations. My word.... glad this popped up as a recommended place on yelp so now we know they're in town and will visit later today. Look folks, this is a true east coast sub place. I adore that they cook the bacon crisp. No fear of dying from undercooked pork. The meatballs are generous and yessssss.... you've surmised correctly. .. I am writing this review before dining. You know what? Short of a hygiene or cross contaminant issue... they have earned the 5 stars by being part of the chain. I'll update as we visit. The vinegar and cherry pepper relish makes it all worth it. Can't wait to redeem some SHORE POINTS and I'm still getting text alerts from my old preferred place on the coast. I never updated anything but it's worth going * double point days * Tuesday meal deal dates. I don't like bloody meat but suck it up when I just want roast beef. I've even tried a hot sub and don't care that a number of veggies aren't offered but what they got more than makes up for what I'm missing (banana peppers and black olives). No typos were made. I meant the chosen vernacular. It's AAVE. look it up. Yayyyy, J.Mike's. Ewww child to drive all the way to Middleton will benefit Costco. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Meatball sub made with swiss. By Trey. #perfect - Sandwiches Near Me - Middleton, Wisconsin

The absolute BEST subs in the Madison area. These are the subs I dream about and can't contain the drool when I'm about to order. Yeah, I had one today, and from the minute I placed my order online until I picked it up I couldn't hold back the anticipation of that luscious first bite. Writing this review has me jonesing for another one. My favorite sub is the #8 club, ham turkey, bacon, provolone, lettuce, tomato, Mike's way (no salt), pickles, jalapeños, banana peppers, extra mayo on whole wheat. The regular subs are very large and I usually split one with my husband. You can customize with extra meat, bacon, cheese, pickles, jalapeños, banana peppers and bread choices. Everything is very fresh. They slice the meat and cheese to order and clean the slicer frequently. Hot sandwiches are grilled before your eyes. The staff is super friendly and the manager acknowledges every customer. If you go for lunch don't be surprised if the line is out the door -- it's a small place and extremely popular but the line moves fast. The best option is to order online. You get to bypass the line and fulfill your sub craving faster. If you order my favorite customized sub be sure to grab a couple of extra napkins. read more

Super friendly staff and fantastic sandwiches! I got the regular meatball sub which was the perfect size. The hubs got the giant Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. They're not kidding-it's giant. And fantastic! One of the better cheese steaks I've had. We will definitely be back to try a cold sub Mikes way! read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Sandwiches Near Me - Middleton, Wisconsin

Huge fan of subs and customer service, Jersey Mikes are far superior to others in both categories.

My friend and I just went to the Middleton, WI location and met the sweetest man ever. He went out of his way to greet everyone with a smile and a positive attitude. He even came up to our table when we were done eating and took our trash for us. When we left he stopped what he was doing to wave and say goodbye to us. This man deserves the world and a raise. We highly recommend going to this location. Not to mention the food was delicious! read more

If anyone ask for my opinion on a sub shop in the Madison area, I always say Jersey Mike's sub. I am from the East Coast and miss a good hoagie but after having Jersey Mike's it brings a little part of home to me. Now only if you had sweet peppers :-) read more

Wr ordered subs from Jersey Mike's and they were amazing! My wife ordered the Italian, and I ordered the Club. Very fresh and huge! The prices are very competitive. We will be ordering again soon! read more

Being from Philly, I am always skeptical about getting a cheesesteak from any restaurant, but I will admit that this is the best I have had outside of Philly. The workers were friendly, the service was quick and the food was good. My wife had caesar chicken wrap and really enjoyed it. The real treat, and anyone from that area of the country, was the option to buy some Tastykakes to enjoy with my sandwich. The subs look good and the stuff going on it looks fresh. I saw them slicing the meet before they made the sandwich, so it is not sitting around all day already sliced and getting funky. The only downside, and not really their fault, the parking lot is small and shares it with many popular places. read more

The people who work here make it worth coming in itself! I love the subs here, so fresh and I've become such a vinegar and oil addict on my sandwiches. There's always a bright hello and a goodbye every visit, it puts you in a great mood! read more

Husband ordered super sub and I ordered the number 4 . We were charged $8.95 each. We picked our order up and took it to our hotel room only to discover that neither of us received what we ordered. What we got were ham and provolone sandwiches which were $1.00 cheaper. After a 6 hour drive we were starving and in no mood to return the sandwiches so we ate something we would never have ordered. 2 stars because the sandwiches were ok even though neither of us like ham. Last time we order anything from Jersey Mikes read more

I have to say, when I wrote my first review of JM in 2017, I had no idea what I was doing....and it made no sense. I think I know what I might have meant to say back then lol. I LOVE lettuce wraps. I like Jersey Mike meats. So, me in 2021 thinking back and me today giving a review would say....HOW cool would it be if Jersey Mikes offered an Amazing Lettuce Wrap :)). JM does have good quality ingredients; however, when I think of having a sub, they are not usually my first choice. So, to those who give five stars to JM, cool. Maybe there are stores in smaller towns that are rocking it out...Good For YOU! Own it. I always say with fast food, there are never two stores alike. We are humans and everyone does everything a little different. read more

Looking for a melty, delicious, and not-so-healthy cheesesteak? Jersey Mikes is it. I have only tried their cheesesteaks and there is a reason why. They are delicious! This is such a guilty pleasure meal for me but so worth it. The employees have always been super friendly as well. What more can you want? read more

Finally, a decent sandwich on the east side. Love the roast beef, Philly cheesesteak and the super sub. Great staff and owner.

Super nice staff and they even ring a bell and acknowledge you when you leave a tip! I love that! I'm not sure what Jersey Mike's jig is but they have many versions of a Philly Cheese Steak. I got the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak (#56). It came with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños and of course extra cheese. A Giant will run you $13.95 +tax where a regular is $7.95 +tax. I really like that they don't skimp on the meat. The meat to bun ration was almost overpowering. The aroma of my onions, peppers, and mushrooms being sauteed on their grill was intoxicating. Unlike Subway, they don't offer a ton of toppings. You can get the subs 'Mike's Way' with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices. Outside of that, you can get sliced dill pickles, banana peppers, or red chili relish. read more

Went in tonite at 8:40. Nobody there and they're cleaning up. I hate being the last customer so was treated as expected.---not welcome at all. I'm a super easy customer and I know they want to go home but close at 8:40 then and don't say you're open til 9pm. No "hi". No "thanks," just very kurt questions towards me. When I said thanks I got no reply back. 2 stars because the food is good but as I said, close early id you don't want customers 20 minutes before closing time. read more

What a crazy place (in a good way)! From order to payment, things move along quickly, so pay attention - especially if it's busy. I learned on the fly and did okay. The regular sub is more than filling. You get to watch them slice the meat as they prepare your sub - no prepacked Oscar Meyer meat slices here... And there's plenty of it! Lots of content to these subs, so come hungry! Speaking of "plenty", let's talk about flavor. The italian sub I got was rich in flavor. I seemed to be able to pick out the taste of each meat on the sub (read: The spicy stuff didn't wash out the bland stuff...). The staff were high-energy and willing to help you, even suggesting which subs are widely accepted as "the best". They encourage "the juices" (olive oil, seasoning, dressing), as that's how Jersey Mike likes it. I'll go here again (and again...) If I can find a coupon, I'll hurry back! It's a little pricier than other sub shops (not by much), but you get plenty for what you pay for. read more

I placed an online order for a group luncheon I was going to have and it was 16 lunch boxes. I placed it on a Monday night and asked for Tuesday by 11. Demetris (sp?) called me back Tuesday a.m. to let me know that they would try by 11, but promised me by 11:15. They had it ready for me when I arrived at 11:05 and were so gracious as to carry the big box out to my car and load it, as well as get my door for me! :) You don't see service this great much anymore. What is even better is that ALL 16 boxes were 100% correct and the food was wonderful! I haven't eaten at Jersey Mike's before, but if this is any indication of how this store operates, I will definitely be giving them more of my business. A++++++++++ read more

What happened to the big happy guy? It used to be a joy to go here. If I was having a bad day there were friendly faces. Recently, it's completely opposite. I love me a 13 but it's such a rude environment lately that I don't know if I'll be back. read more

Can't go wrong when they slice the meat and cheese to order. Opted for the Roast Beef prepared "Mike's Way" (with onions, lettuce, olive oil, red wine vinegar) served on rosemary bread. With three sizes to choose from, I ordered the Regular and definitely large enough for me. Super friendly staff. Small dining room but a perfect stop for takeout. read more

The shift leads and managers are all children.. they all act like children. Terrible attitudes all around. The only one that greeted me correctly and that seemed like she was even remotely happy to be there was the nice young blonde woman. The short child which I believe was the manager (terrible attitude)gave me mustard packets on the side without even attempting to see if they had mustard.. The other young brawly looking female with darker brown hair just scurries around the kitchen slopping my sandwich together ( I've been here twice now and she made my sandwich both times.. it was terrible btw) food is very subpar. Probably because theyre more worried about slopping the sandwich together than they are worried about actually making a good quality sub.. really need to work on the attitude in the workplace. maybe hire mature people to be managers..... Wouldn't recommend to anyone. And I heard one of the younger men there talking about my wife as we walked out.... Very inappropriate. DO BETTER!!!! read more

100% AMAZING subs!!! And the employees are all so nice and friendly! Go here and enjoy!!

The manager of this location is a spectacular business man and human! I stopped in today to try Jersey Mike's for the first time and I was overwhelmed with his kindness. He up sold me on a fancier sub (which was delicious) and told me once I got to the register that it was on the house simply because it is his job to "make people's days". He slipped chips and a cookie into the bag and walked me to my car to hand deliver my lunch free of charge. Because of this interaction alone, Jersey Mike's will now be my go-to sub stop. read more

You guys. Go here. Outstanding freshness, friendliness, attentiveness, and absolutely delicious food. Everything I've tried here has been outstanding. You can order online and customize just about everything, including turning almost ANY sub (hot or cold) into a wrap by checking a box at the top of the page! They have 3 tortilla options too. Check them out, please. You won't be disappointed. Their bread is so hearty too, btw. Soft, chewy, amazing. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Chipotle turkey sub turned into a wrap, customized online. So delicious and fresh! Chipotle isn't too spicy either. - Sandwiches Near Me - Middleton, Wisconsin

I know it's a chain, but with a menu sporting words like prosciuttini, cappacuolo, and salami, I can at least reasonably pretend that I'm at an old-world Italian deli. I also like the fact that the default condiments are old school: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil and spices (aka "Mike's Way"). The super sub (#5) was delish. I like the fact that they sliced the cheese right in plain view. I'm a long-time Jimmy John's fan, but if there was a Jersey Mike's closer to my home, JJ would have some serious competition. A few minor criticisms: price is a little high compared to Jimmy Johns. The #5 was $7.25 for a regular sized sub - almost two dollars more than a JJ Vito. Second, the place lacks personality or warmth, at least compared to JJ's. It's more akin to Subway in this regard. Service was prompt and friendly, and the bathroom was clean. read more

My sister and law and our daughters had lunch there today. One of our girls fainted and her food fell on the ground. One of the employees Dimitris ran to our aid. Remade her sandwich at no charge and kept checking on us. D is the epitome of customer service. And the food was awesome. read more

My new favorite sub place! I really love "Mike's Way" on my sandwiches. The blend of red wine vinegar, olive oil, and oregano is delicious. The staff is really nice too! I have never had a bad experience, and I visit at least once a week. read more

There was a Jersey Mike's near my work location when I lived in the Twin Cities, so I was excited to see one opening up in Middleton. It's a great addition to Greenway Station's restaurant offerings and Middleton's sub scene as a whole. The clean surroundings, fresh-cut meats & cheeses, crisp veggies and friendly service make the sandwiches worth the longer wait than you'll experience at nearby Subway or Milio's or down-the-road Cousins, but at just a fraction of the wait than Firehouse Subs a few exits down the Beltline. They get a little jammed over the weekday lunch rush, but you're still in & out pretty fast. Make no mistake: If you're a New Jersey hoagie or Philly cheesesteak snob, you're not going to like my 4-star review of this place. However, you are in Madison, Wisconsin, so the sub reviews are going to be in comparison to other local options, and I would choose Jersey Mike's over the other local options. If you don't like it, fuggedaboudit -- Philly and the Jersey Shore are just a short, private-jet flight away. read more

My 4/5 rating applies to Jersey Mikes as it compares to other sandwich chains. As a New Yorker living in Madison for nearly a decade, I have long suffered that Madison has no real sandwich shops. Sure, there are plenty of places that make ok sandwiches, but these are all most likely restaurants with big menus. There are no real east coast style delis. As far as sandwich chains go, Subway is hot garbage. Quiznos isn't far behind. Same goes for Cousins. I guess Potbellys and Which Which are ok, but they all lack that fresh, full deli sandwich vibe. While I can't in good conscience compare a large chain to the brilliance of an authentic local deli, Jersey Mikes is the only sandwich chain worth eating at. The long rolls are deli quality, and they use fresh cut sandwich meat like the kind you SHOULD be getting at the deli counter at your local grocery. We've trekked from the east side (about 25 mins drive each way) on a lazy Saturday/Sunday a few times in the short time they've been open, just to get a quick solid sandwich. Owner of this franchise seems like a good dude. Staff has always shown fantastic hustle when I've stopped in. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant. The veggie wrap was slimy, wet, and soft of the outside making it difficult to grab with my hands. The contents inside were mushy and not appetizing. The line was very loud and the staff were carrying their own conversations making it difficult to understand the ordering process. This place needs some help. read more

The subs are fresh and delicious. Also the customer service was super kind and helpful. They were 3 girls who helped me through the menu and even gave me a free cookie because it was my first time there. My sub was so tasty, I recommend getting it, "Mike's way." The meat, the cheese, the veggies and the sauce was really well balanced too. read more

Very good subs fresh vegetables meat sliced when you order. They have both hot and cold subs and wraps. Have a good selection of toppings so we can get something for everyone. Chips about the only side cookies and brownies for dessert. Good varieties of sodas standard and specialty and juice.
