I searched best burgers in Sun Prairie, and Mooyah, showed up with a lot of good reviews. I was surprised when we walked in the door, that it appeared to be a chain restaurant. You order at the counter and they serve you at the table. We are not chain restaurant people, only on a rare occasion, but we were hungry, and sometimes searching for another option, can take longer than I would like, especially when in the car. I ordered the Mooyah cheeseburger, and my spouse ordered a bacon cheeseburger. We also ordered shareable fries. The menu pictures don't look like a smash burger, but that is exactly what we were given, overcooked, all the way through. I am not sure why people claim the Mooyah sauce is great, as there was barely any sauce on it, and you could barely taste it. The lettuce was wilted, and was scant. Where's the tomato? It was very thinly sliced. The shareable fries were like a party for four, we should have ordered the personal fries, as we brought over half of them home. They were extremely loaded with salt, so much that we were thirsty for the rest of the evening. We won't be back there again.

Dill pickle slices, a side of sauce and the cheesy fries rounded out the meal. The sandwich was delicious with the combo of coleslaw and sauce. The larger piece of chicken was surprisingly very tender and moist. The French fries were ok. If I were to go back I would skip the cheese topping. We both jumped in the ice tea as they had unsweetened, sweet, raspberry and peach. We got the sweet tea and it was pretty weak. We head south every winter and usually if I get sweet tea I will mix a little unsweetened tea into it. This sweet tea was ok with the sweetness for me but it seemed really watered down. I'm not one for fast food but I would stop back here for a piece of chicken or take out a bucket. I'm not sure how they make their chicken but it had a dry rub over a light texture, thinking the chicken may be deep fried and then Tossed in the dry rub. Our rub was medium heat. It was borderline spicy enough but next time we may try the next step in the hot spice.

The corned beef was slightly tender, but not tender enough, and their sauce on top was so limited, that it was a very dry sandwich. I chose the beer battered fries. They were okay, but still dry. It was an overload of fries, so much that I couldn't finish them. My husband chose the Alamo burger, sans the BBQ sauce. I am not sure why they placed the mozzarella wedge on top of the burger instead of inside the burger. Correction, he said there were two mozzarella wedges on top, but he ate them outside the burger. I took this picture after the first one was eaten up. The staff was attentive, and I liked this location more, as it was smaller and not so loud.
