On Sunday may 3rd at approximately 7:30p.m. at Culver's at 1641 N. Miller Park Way in West Milwaukee, WI 53214. I endured one of the worst customer service experiences that I've ever had. I walked up to the second counter said hi and was instantly meet with attitude, rolling eyes, mouth smacking and a stare of death as if I had insulted someone. I presented my order and even gave a cash tip( which I regularly do) after presenting my order and it still didn't stop the look of irritation, the rolling of her neck and the snapping responses to my order request. After this continued for several minutes, I removed the tip from the counter, said nevermind to the order and proceeded to the rear of the line. I watched her next interaction with 4 Caucasian people and here treatment was a complete 180. I was really upset about the encounter and told one of the co-workers what happened and next thing I knew three coworkers where telling me that she had a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. Then to make things even worse when I called the store to complain to the manager about my experience, I was met with excuses. She would interrupt me while I'm presenting my complaint, gave me this corporate line (in fast a fast past) and didn't give me an opportunity to fully discrib and express how I felt as a customer. You could feel the irritation through the phone.There needs to be some changes with the people who you have working and leading this location. read more

Normally I don't go to this location since I've always had bad experiences. Thought I'd give it another try since it's been over a year and it's closer to me. On Saturday (3/21/26) at 7:30pm I went thru the drive through and ordered a large concrete mixer malt with snickers. The malt is not considered a mix in so I asked if I still got another mix in for free. The lady said yes. So I ordered Heath on the side to which I saw a charge for on the screen. When I got up to the window, I asked the kid why I got charged for the extra side when she told me it was free. He put his arms up in the air and said nothing. So I asked him again to which he got some girl named Emily. I re-told Emily the situation and she said "oh if it's on the side, we have to charge for it" so I told her then to take it off the order. To which she told me no. So I told her to just forget the whole order and drove off and she said "okay!" This place is just ran by a bunch of little brats. The other location is way better and the staff is very respectful. So I went there and ordered the same thing and guess what? Wasn't charged for the extra side. I've been traveling from outta state visiting family this week and have had numerous rather lack luster customer service interactions with many, however, today was quite different! Rollerblading with my two pups we stopped by the restaurant and I asked someone who was weeding outside if she wouldn't mind getting us a bowl of water. With a huge smile and great energy, Alexandria Came right out with two huge bowls filled to the brim. On our way back past the restaurant we stopped again to finished the water we had left and there was a refilled bowl with ice, Alex you are truly one of a kind and I appreciate such a small gesture considering how hot it was and how unprepared I happened to be, thank you a million times over. I thought how could a Culvers be 3 1/2 stars? After ordering at the drive-through the car behind me received their food first with more food than I ordered. My butter burger was lukewarm and my concrete mixer was awful. Generally, it's vanilla custard with crumbled candy. I chose Butterfinger. Instead, it was peanut butter with sweet syrup. They advertise being open until midnight but apparently after 11:45 you can't order online or the phone and when you show up at the drive thru they ignore you until you get frustrated and drive away. Nevermind trying to get custard at a place known for frozen custard, as they run out or dump it when they get close to closing. The manager, Dennis, is more concerned about walking out the door on time than being a good example for his employees. When it comes to customer service, I would rate it a zero. This place has gone down the toilet. Spent 50 minutes. Not an exaggeration before finally asking for a refund along with all the other people who had been waiting over an hour. 20 people in there all children and can't even make one burger and onion rings that I ordered. Then had to wait 20 minutes to get the refund due to all the others asking for a refund. Then the time before that I ordered a kids meal which comes with a scoop of ice cream to go like I have for years and this kid tells me you can't get the ice cream to go you have to eat in for that. The line through the drive through is always backed up to the street but even if the inside is empty they will serve 20 cars first before giving you your order. Culver's is a throwback to when fast food restaurants were not only fast, but also friendly and fresh. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. The food is high quality and fresh, although priced accordingly (a little higher than most fast food restaurants) and it's equally greasy. Still, it's a real Wisconsin experience. They even have fried cheese curds on the menu! Props for having Udi's gluten free buns ($1 extra). read more

I LOVE Culver's, but my last few visits here have been horrible. The customer service is not that great. The last few times have been very disappointing! Fact: i have been to way too many Culver's locations of late. But this one is as great as the rest. Perhaps even better in that is isn't overly air-conditioned and has a unique seating layout reminiscent (in a good way) of old Country Kitchens. Cozier than other locations. Great and fast service. I wanted to give the best burger in Sun Prairie a shout out as I've just joined Yelp (September 26, 2019). I'll make this review across the last 4 months as to not skew the average. In that time, I've been to this Culver's about 6 times. I always get the same thing - A Double Butterburger Deluxe with no pickles. This is completely contrary to what I do at many restaurants, but the quality of this burger, coupled with the price and tempting coupons that Culver's puts out makes it a slam dunk. This particular Culver's either trains their employees on the grill in an outstanding way or I am fortunate enough to get the best griller consistently. The burger is just awesome - juicy and perfectly done. I'm not kidding about it being the best burger in Sun Prairie. Close is the Varsity burger, but this burger really is. Not all Culver's are created equal. I'm happy to live in the same town as the best Culver's I've visited. Great supporter of the Community as well. read more
