I was getting a tow for my rv and upon unloading it I was not aware of the price or a port to port service I guess this tow company charges when they leave to when they get back to the shop which is dumb and I was about to pay but i hear a smart remark from bill the driver thinking I'm not going to pay which I did pay and the manager Kevin thought that too ig they was both rude and I was told they don't care about the reviews and they have enough people so they don't need anymore services from anyone they don't care about the service they give you they think we need them so they can be rude to you I highly don't recommend read more

My car was towed there after an accident, and several items were stolen out of my car. Even my license plate holder was stolen.

My car was towed from the scene of the accident. Miles was called by the police to handle the towing. The officer said very specifically to take all valuables. I managed to grab everything but I forgot my GPS unit. After I noticed it was missing, I talked with what I assume was the owner. Instead of denying that the unit was stolen or checking with his employees, he rudely responded that there was a police report that all valuables had been taken from the car, and if I were to pursue the topic any further, it would be my word against his. A response which I'm sure he has said many times to other customers who had their cars towed. I asked if he had any trust in his employees, and he repeated the same line. It was my mistake to not have grabbed my GPS unit. But I hope this serves a warning to anyone else who would ever consider trusting this terrible company. read more

If I could do a negative star I would. The main guy was nasty toward me. He was off-putting and told me that he is closing the gates at 5....and told me vague directions about how to get to my car. Of course moving my car wasn't going to be easy anyway because the towing guy dropped my car in a mud pit. Then the main guy came over and acted like it was my fault for putting it there. This company is horrible and will rip consumers off. The driver decided to tow my car to the facility even though I was given the option to have it towed to my place of residence. After being hugely disappointed and abandoned at a highway roadside for 5 hours by Audi America roadside assistance on a friday afternoon, a helpful Police Trooper called Miles Towing and they arrived promptly to assist me. Gentleman was very polite and he safely secured my Audi Q5 to his tow truck and told me that I could pick up my car from their location in Elkridge, MD the following morning (Saturday) and he provided me with a company business card. The following morning I called their office for more than 15 times, left numerous voice messages, but no one answered or responded to my voice messages. In short my car ended up staying at their impound lot for the weekend because we only learnt later after they finally picked their phone on Monday morning and they slapped me with a bill of $450 for towing, administration and storage fees. Of course this was a big shock and unexpected bill and when I complained that I was misinformed by their driver who told me that they are opened on weekends when they were actually closed, their manager screamed at me over the phone and basically told me this was a new driver and he was not aware they were closed on weekends and that there is NO WAY that they were going to alter this charge. I told them that this is tantamount to customer deception and that it is their responsibility to ensure that the drivers that they send out are properly trained to provide the correct information to their customers. But of course all my complaints fell on deaf ears and they did not seem to care at all. Long story short I paid them their $450 and I'am warning future drivers not to fall in the same trap as I did by remembering to ask and verify if the towing service they are using is open for business on weekends and what are their business hours especially if their mishap is on a Friday. I feel that they are deliberately leaving out this information because most times a driver is vulnerable at that moment and unfortunately, they take advantage of that by knowingly leaving out vital information in order to extort more money out of you, so DRIVERS BEWARE of these tricks and tactics by this towing service company. read more

My husband was involved in an accident late on a Friday afternoon (around 4pm) and the police called Miles to tow the vehicles. My husband accidently left his work ID in his car. He called Miles before 6pm and was told they were closed for the evening and he would need to call back on Saturday 8am to noon. When he called back on Saturday morning the person he spoke to was very rude and told him he would not be able to get to his car until sometime on Monday. I suspect that we will get a huge runaround.
