Although I'm not the biggest fan of the donut texture (they resemble more of a butter mochi texture in my opinion), they do have some delicious flavors. I visited here because I had a coupon and wanted to order a sampler set using it. So I got to try one of every flavor. I'm a sucker for anything lemon curd, so my favorites were the Lavender Earl Grey and Rose, both included lemon curd. The other flavors were just alright, especially the ones that had candy or the holiday flavors.

This is at their newest location out on the west side. They have their normal selection of mochi donuts as well as a breakfast sandwich. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and a black sesame mochi donut. The breakfast sandwich was nice and simple - sausage, egg, and cheese in between two mochi donuts. It was pretty filling. The black sesame mochi donut had a really good flavor to it.

    Cute and fair claw machine.

I saw their Halloween specialty mochi donuts and decided we had to come here for Oregon trip. When we arrived, we were greeted by an employee (who seemed to be the only one working) and he was professional as he told us what specials they had. My boyfriend ordered the dirt cup mochi donut and I got the witch's brew. For our drinks, I got the hibiscus rose lemonade and he got an iced coffee. The space was very clean and neat. The décor was very minimalistic and modern. I wish they had music playing as it felt a bit awkward with no real ambiance. I'm not sure if it was because it was early or maybe preference of the currently working employee? While we were waiting for our order, my boyfriend and I saw their crane machine in the corner and we got two cute prizes! It was nice to see a fair crane machine as other businesses make the cranes weak making it impossible to get anything. The drinks and donuts were perfect and not too sweet! They also had a few free stickers that you can have which I thought was a cute touch, although it would be nice if there was a sign to indicate that they were free to take.

This was a quick dessert stop right next to other restaurants. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it was our first time getting some donuts here. We chose a blueberry pancake, which was kind of too sweet for me. And the black sesame was really good, but I prefer without the jam. Overall, the texture is very good with the mochi stretch. The dessert shop is more like a quick go in and out, but I would not sit around and hang out there. We just took it to go well, most likely come back to try other flavors.

I'd give it a 3.5. It was my first time going and heard that they had lots of different flavors as they rotate. It wasn't very busy in fact I was the only one haha but I went with my friend and I tried the black sesame with jelly or jam on top. The texture of the mochi donut was very chewy, especially they warmed it up it had a nice consistency. The black sesame was not strong enough. It was too sweet. I wish it was stronger in flavor and I may like it more. Maybe I'll visit again, when I find a flavor I like :)

I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I like these donuts. I wasn't sure what to expect regarding the texture or flavor and because I'm super picky about textures, I didn't have high expectations. Donuts shouldn't be too cakey or too doughy etc, (for my liking) and with them being mochi donuts, I was worried they might be too gooey or sticky or whatever. But I'm happy to say that the texture of these is just right. Of the ones we tried, the horchata is our favorite. Perfectly balanced flavor and not too sweet. I can't speak to the service or ambiance of the location because we had them delivered. :)

We stopped here because we went next door to get a GF pizza and they recommend it. So worth it! Hubby said it was hands down the BEST donut he has had in YEARS (8 to be exact) They have that cake text I love. Flavored well. I think this will be a new regular

I was so happy to see them open a brick and mortar shop in the nice West End apartment complex. These gluten free and dairy free donuts are crowd pleasers and the best part is they come with unique flavors with a chewy mochi texture (the best kind of chewy) and are actually delicious! I came to get some donuts right at opening on a Sunday and the store is small but cute with a fun claw machine in the corner. The staff were so nice and helpful. I'm happy to see they are getting some local publicity on KGW and wish them great success with their yummy mochi donuts!

So delicious! Got 6 dozen and loved every one of them! Can't wait to go back, excited to have a gluten free donut place to go to

Gluten free donuts, come to me!! And in my neighborhood now! Super cute new storefront in Beaverton! Lowkey jealous of the people who live in the apartments above. They always have their menu staples, and special flavors rotate monthly so there's always something new to try! Give them a try (even if you're not GF) if you have a sweet tooth - trust me, you won't be disappointed!

My partner and I LOVE Mikiko! We come by at least once or twice a month to try out the latest round of flavors and grab some classic favs. One of us is vegan & gf and one of us is not and we both equally looking forward to Mikiko mochi donuts. Great texture, tasty flavors, the right amount of sweet, and never dry or boring! The staff is always so nice and the local art on the walls is fantastic. So excited they've got two locations now. (The pic is from one of our first times trying Mikiko in October)

My hubby has been trying to find a donut shop in the area that has a devil's food with peanuts to no avail. While we were having lunch, he pulled up their website and was delighted to see they do, in fact, offer one! We popped in on a Sunday around 2:00 pm, not expecting much to be left in the case, and were delighted to see a fully stocked case of donut wonders. I wish I had taken a photo, but you can check out others'. The shop is bright, welcoming, and clean. Sadly, they were out of the devil's food with peanuts, but now we know where to come for them! Our daughter got a devil's food with coconut, she got a maple old fashioned for her partner, I got a glazed chocolate with coconut, and my hubby got a devil's food with rainbow jimmies. I presume the owner helped us, based on the glowing reviews here. He was, indeed, warm and friendly. When we got our box of donuts home, I noticed he had put some complimentary donut holes inside, which was a sweet (literal and figurative) surprise. I didn't have a chance to eat my donut until this afternoon. I had put mine on a plate with some plastic wrap, and it was just as fresh and tasty as if I had just picked it up. Ironically, when we lived in the East Bay, CA, our favorite donut place for years was also called Donut King! It feels like the universe is sharing some sweet serendipity with us. THIS Donut King has it all-- fantastic customer experience and service, and a wide variety of fresh and delicious donuts. We look forward to returning!

They are brioche-based donut with a thick, heavy dough instead of being airy and fluffy. Well, they are unique, but they are definitely not my favorite and they are quite expensive. They're known for creative flavors, but creative does not mean it tastes good. The famous Blueberry Bourbon Basil donut was so doughy and cakey (hard type), blueberry jam was too sweet and completely overpowered the subtle taste of bourbon and basil. The apple fritter was the same, just sweet, doughy, and nothing special. We also tried the Cointreau Crème Brûlée, it is a custard donut comes with an orange liqueur pipette. Because the blueberry donut completely lack of bourbon taste, we actually used that pipette to squeeze the liqueur into the blueberry donut. We had the coffee, they're just average, nothing special. Definitely a wrong choice I made.

I tend to pick from the shelf-stable pastries since for some reason whenever I visit it is always hot. That means I have to skip at the cake/pastry case even though the desserts look so tantalizing. My favorites are: Kare pan: House made beef curry inside of a deep fried donut coated with panko. I don't understand how it's possible for this creation to remain crispy even though it's stored at room temperature instead of the more usual warming lamps. The curry is thick and has generous chunks of beef and vegetables. The bread isn't really "donut" per se since that brings to mind something sweet with a tender crumb.
