    Large Sausage/pepperoni pizza

This location is a walk up and order pizza establishment. I was very happy to eat here twice in one day. The first order was perfect. The dough was NY style very large, tasty, and crispy. I wanted more so after my event in town, I ordered a to-go (large garden salad, pepperoni roll, spinach roll, cheesesteak sandwich, extreme cheesesteak sandwich). I did not receive my entree a large dinner salad. Thankfully my family shared their sandwiches which both were delicious. The pepperoni roll was very doughy. Though the spinach roll was delicious.

Mikey's by the slice: $3.50 each.

Lol at the info tags calling them "classy." While I would say delicious, family-friendly, and casual fit the description, classy isn't really one of them. It's definitely a locals, takeout only, ski town kind of pizza place. We discovered it walking around town and when we went to rent our cross country skis at the Nordic center. It's definitely off the main drag, but super close to Clark's market. Slices are $3.50 for cheese and they have pepperoni and deluxe. Open 7 days a week, but only evenings on weekends. Thin crust is amazing and I'd highly recommend. Hard to walk by the place and not walk in for a slice bc it smells so good.

    Ginormous slice ($4)!

Just got pizza by the slice. Super cheap ($4) and ready large slices! We foolishly got 2 slices a person. Couldn't finish the 2nd slice! Highly recommend and will return when back in the area.

    My delicious slice!!

It's off the beaten path, but so worth it!! We are Floridians and made the hike in snow!!!4.00 a slice and the biggest slices I've ever had! Delicious... we had to get a second! If your in CB... best Pizza in town!

Half pepperoni and half chicken and green chile pizza. 18" size.

If you're hungry and want solid, good pizza that isn't your average pie, this is the place. We ordered take out after a day of snowshoeing. It's about as low key of a place as it gets. No frills. No dine in. But awesome food and great service. The employees were really helpful a d appreciated our business. They sell huge pieces by the slice (looked like a 24" pizza that the slices came from). But we ordered a huge 18" pizza since we (especially the teenager) was so hungry. The crust is delicious - crisp, thick but not too heavy, fresh, etc. We got half pepperoni and sausage and half chicken (which was quite a bit extra but this isn't your typical chicken on pizza. It was real grilled chicken and you could see it and taste it), green chile (THANK YOU FOR THAT TOPPING), and fresh Buffalo mozzarella in addition to the regular mozzarella cheese that came with the pizza. We also ordered two sandwiches including the chicken parmigiana and those were big hits too. We warmed up the chicken pizza for lunch a few days later and it was still very good. This is a going to be a "go to" place for future visits.

Cool chairs give it that ski town touch. Enjoy your pizza outside because there is no room inside except for a few stools. Pizza is great.

Good stuff. If the chef asked me I'd say more sauce and more seasoning/stronger sauce.

Mikey's is a simple place with really good pizza. The people are laid back, and it is a rare affordable eat in an expensive town.

We were looking for something near our hotel with a kitchen that opens late and that offers gluten-free options (for my buddy). Iron Horse Tap ended up being the place for us. They serve up American bar food and appetizers with a nice selection of beer, wine and cocktails on their drink menu. Iron Horse Tap is located inside The Plaza and has great views of Mt. Crested Butte's Peak. We were able to walk over from our hotel. It was a chilly night, so we appreciated how warm and cozy the place was. Iron Horse has a number of TVs that show various sporting events. The pizza options on the menu looked good, so order a MOB Pizza with a beer. I like to try the local beers whenever I visit a new town and Iron Horse had a selection of local Colorado beers on tap. Iron Horse Tap had a nice crowd on hand and ended up being a solid first stop for us on this trip to Crested Butte.

There are a lot of bar seats, as well as in restaurant seating, with large tvs, displaying current games/sporting events. There are tap handles all around the ceiling - I instantly had the feeling they take their beer options/menu seriously. The ever rotating beer menu is displayed on a tv (two screens worth of options), and I was excited to see a wide variety of beers. I opted for an IPA to start. The menu has a Philly vibe to it (not sure where else you can find a cheesesteak on an amoroso roll), with appetizers ranging from cheese curds, to fried pickles, or fried mushrooms, to potstickers and pork green chile. I ordered the Italian - which you can have cold or toasted (always go toasted!), comes with your choice of cheese, and a large amount of meat (capicola, salami, pepperoni), lettuce, tomato, banana pepper and onion. It was delicious (and substantial). The fries are delicious - seasoned and crispy. My husband ordered the meatball sub, which was also substantial, and very tasty, and he opted for a Caesar salad as his side, which was very good. Our friend ordered a salad, which was huge. The bartender was awesome, and Tully came out of the kitchen a few times to chat, and we learned more about him, and the restaurant. Great guy, and love what he's doing here. We will absolutely be back!

DETROIT PIZZA Tucked…read moreinside the tiny town of Redstone is a little piece of Michigan you need to experience. We're talking Detroit pizza. Usually, I'm a thin crust kind of gal, but Propaganda Pie's hearty, large, rectangular Carnivore Creation ($32) is awesome. Chow down on the light, airy crust with plenty of caramelized cheese, ham, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and red sauce. Or ponder the other amusingly named choices: I'm Not a Crook, White Noise, etc. Add a large Caesar Salad ($14) to share. The romaine lettuce tastes like it has just been picked, the croutons are large, and the parmesan is artisanal - not that fake canned crap. Ice cold draft lagers make it all perfect. Indoors is cute and kitschy, but we sat outside to savor the view and the glorious weather. Love their sign: "We Do Not Have WIFI. Talk to each other... pretend it's 1995." I think that's probably all you need to know--if you're nearby you should just go. That's all there is to it. But I will mention there were beautifully large cookies and brownies too, and a good selection of draft beer and fun fountain drinks. They had live music outside when I went (August), there was also nice seating near the river and some yard games to entertain. Total experience situation for sure.
