Delicious pizza and beer! We sat at the bar and enjoyed our spot in addition to the service. We made it during happy hour and found it to be a great deal for a couple of beers and pizzas. The pesto on the pepperoni pizza was a unique touch and tasted great.

Did a beer flight here and it is really neat because they come on skis!! This was called the shotski. The drink was pretty in pink was good as well. Omg we had the pepperoni pizza and it was sooo good!!! It was on the happy hour menu on Sunday and we told them to wait until 3 to put it in for the happy hour price. Came here to watch the game. Only 2 tvs in the place. Not too many places in aspen have multiple tvs.

This brewery is in a great location downtown with an amazing Mountain View and lots of people watching opportunities. The food looked really good here, especially the pizza which I saw many tables eating. I came just for the beer and tried "this seasons blonde". It was good, but it didn't really have an exciting flavor like a fruity accent. It definitely had malty hints and it was light, but not my favorite. I wished they had more fruit flavored light beers or ambers, but they seemed to have more traditional IPA, lager, Pilsner, red ale, stout. Nothing unique that really caught my eye! However they also offer cocktails, so there is something for everyone.

First stop for food in Aspen and absolutely did not disappoint. Myself and 4 other friends took down 4 pizzas and 2 cheese breads and some of the local beers and had a great time. The pizza was amazing, great crust and delicious flavor on each of the pies. Our server Tara was super cool and gave us some great recommendations. This place is a mandatory stop when visiting the aspen village, I will be back with more friends!

Stopped by Aspen Tap for a casual dinner with a group of four. Excellent brews - especially for me as a hazy IPA lover. My favorite was the Excess In Moderation Hazy IPA. The ambiance and service were also very nice; 4 stars only because I though the pizza was just OK - nothing to write home about.

We stopped in for a couple of salads, which were very good. Portion sizes were generous. I was really there to try the beer because I like to visit microbreweries. I tried the sampler and was particularly happy with their red and porter beers. Having said this, none of them were bad. The food and beverages were positively enjoyable. On a side note, our waitress was one of the most Impersonable waitresses we had ever met. At the on-site when taking our food order she told two people at my table to be quiet because she could not hear the person across the table placing their order. A simple solution would have been to walk around the table to get closer to the person she could not hear. This was a small table of three people. Yikes!

DOGS ALLOWED INDOORS!! Overall good experience. The food and service was great. I highly recommend the green chili to warm you up post skiing. The budha bowl was pretty good too. The bowl is large and feeds a person. The pizza we had was the meat and potatoe one. As others reviews said it felt undercooked. The pizza was definitely bland and needed way more garlic sauce, way more. Overall prices are typical for the area and I hope this review helps because it's definitely a better place than the 3 stars it has.

Well, looks like a lot of things have changed since I was last at Aspen Brewing Company. It's moniker is Aspen Tap / Aspen Brewing Company if you do a Google search. For one it's at a different location and the ownership is different. My very first experience was at the old address a while ago and that experience was miserable in various ways. But this newer incarnation showed some improvement. We got the Cloud 9 Saison which was okay. Nothing earth shattering or memorable but decent enough. I am still a bit baffled Aspen doesn't have other breweries and that the brewing scene here isn't more competitive to make some really top notch beers from top notch brewers but alas I guess it isn't meant to be. I mean when it involves Aspen one would thing expectations would be quite high for great food and drink... perhaps to the point where it's unreasonable. But once again the experience was just average. In general I don't care for the craft breweries as much on the Western Slope compared to those in Denver and along the rest of the Front Range. Something that makes many of those breweries memorable and wonderful to the east just isn't carried over the mountains all of the way.

    Flight - 6 drinks to a flight

Went to Aspen Tap straight from the airport, because the allure of vegan pizza and brews was too strong. Beer wise - what a selection. Nowadays, it seems like breweries will go heavy on the IPAs, DIPAs, etc, and have maybe one lager or pilsner. Instead, I was able to build an entire tap out of what I call "beers that taste like beer" (and a shockingly crisp and dry cider) while my husband built a flight of hoppy beers. The favorite was the Gold Level, which was a dry hopped pilsner, so had a bit of a hop to it. Food-wise, the menu clearly specifies the vegan items which include marinated olives, a hummus bowl, tomato coconut soup, and the "Very Vegan" sourdough pizza, with roast yam, vegan mozz, pickled onion, walnut, sag. They used to have cashew cheese pizza apparently, but no more. I was kind of shocked later to see the bad reviews due to service. I think it's important to keep in mind that Aspen has a lot of seasonal labor, many of them young and still learning, so someone you encounter today may not be here in a few months or next year. That said, we were greeted when we got it, got service immediately, and our server was nice and not intrusive.

Yeah yeah the wide selection of beers are really refreshing. Yeah yeah the views of the mountains while drinking outside this spot is a must. Yeah yeah the French manager and the German waitress were affable and attentive. I love this kind of diversity *wink* But...did I mention the Caesar salad with extra anchovies? Fuk, that was delectable. I'll be back.

Great spot downtown to grab some local beers - prices are what you'd expect for DT Aspen (pricey). Food is good for a brewery (pizza has a great homemade dough and some great toppings). Overall, a good spot to grab some local beers and grub.

Great service, good beer. Smallish location but was easy to feed the kids as most places in aspen were packed. Pizza was really cheesy.

The service was wonderful, we got our food very quickly, and the ambiance was adorable. A little loud but nothing too crazy. The food itself was fine. We ordered the duo dip, French fries, the French dip, and the chicken sandwich. The guac and the other dip were really good and we loved the chips too. The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.

Drink beer and pet dogs is a very fitting slogan for this place. Wanting to try some different beers tonight, we had quite the flight: 1 - American Dream Cream Ale 2 - Irish Red 3 - Mexican Lager 4 - Ginger Pale Ale 5 - Fruit Ninja Blonde 8 - Lostoberfest Marzen 10 - Mangy Moose Spruce Tip Pale Ale My two favorites were the Cream Ale and the Marzen. We fell in love with their original location years ago. Their beer is fantastic. The service and atmosphere, though, is what keeps us coming back. The Broken Compass team works at both locations. Claire was our favorite team member but everyone on the team does a great job at inviting you to feel welcome. They're amazing. My favorite beer is their coconut porter. It has a hint of fresh coconut and is a lighter side of porter, not too syrupy. It's well balanced and might I dare say--it's perfect. That said, I haven't had a beer here that I didn't like. They have a great layout at the original location, though you wouldn't think it being in a commercial warehouse. There's a big garage door that opens in the back to outdoor seating. There's this amazing mural in the back of the building. The crowd there all seem to know each other which I am amazed at each time we visit. It's a more local vibe at the original location than the more touristy accessible location on Main Street. The original location has a super cozy vibe, lots of board games (or bring your own). It's a great place to hangout for a few hours. They also have a shuttle that takes patrons back to Main Street. Just call or ask the crew for more details. Again, favorite brewery in Breck.
