If you're looking for a great, reliable, friendly and super professional business, look no further. The crew, Sandra and Nicole, all went beyond what was expected to help us. At 6:30 pm, on a Friday evening before Memorial Day weekend, and Nicole was doing everything possible to arrange an appointment to fix our clogged drain pipe. We're very grateful, and couldn't recommend them higher. read more

No need to look for anyone else. Period. The very best experience with a plumber (actually any tradesperson at all!) we've ever had. Professional to the max, friendly, extremely helpful, the complete pro. I called with a faucet problem, a real human being answered the phone, Mike himself was able to respond right away and was at the front door within 20 minutes. Problem solved, very happy customer. Great company!! read more

M.J. came today as planned and repaired our leaking toilet. He was friendly, efficient, and conscientious. Top quality all around.

Mike's was friendly, responsive, professional and reasonably priced. The two techs were great. Thanks for coming out same day and solving my issue! Pete read more

Cody, of Mike's Plumbing and Drain did a great job explaining my options, supporting my decision making process, and overseeing the replacement/lining of most of my sewer line. The work was done efficiently, competently, and left as cleanly as possible. When unexpected difficulties arose with my 1929 pipe( ie. a "y" to nowhere) the team handled it without costing me exorbitant amounts of money. I highly recommend Mike's Sewer and Drain. read more

From the initial quote to completion of services Mike's Plumbing was knowledge, thorough and kind. The job actually came in a little under the quote. The guys came out and quickly assessed the state of our two toilets that needed service and got to work. They were expedient and wasted no time in completing the job (rebuilding the seals). So far so good! I would definitely recommend Mike's business to anyone in the area looking for a plumber. read more

OMG Mike's plumbing to the rescue! Had an issue with a weird noise from our pipes. Called Mike's Plumbing and they came out within the hour. Great customer service, professional and communication. Cody came out was thorough and awesome to work with. I would highly recommend Mike's Plumbing! Thank you!!! read more

Awesome company! Gave me a very reasonable pricing estimate online, allowed me to send in photos for the quote. Guy arrived on time, polite, capable, finished on time with excellent results! We were so happy with the great service and great pricing, Mike's Plumbing will be our go to from here on out! read more

My neighbor and I share a common sewer pipe. It needed to be cleaned out and we agreed to split the cost. As long as they were coming out I asked them to clean out the line on my property to the common sewer pipe as well as fix a leaky toilet. They agreed. Two guys came out, Tory and Cody. They were very nice and very efficient! As it turns out, my line was clear so nothing was done. The toilet was more complicated, but I don't like that toilet anyway, so I agreed to get a new one and call them to install at a later date. They were on time, explained things, they knew what they were doing, they were nice and polite people. I don't need a plumber every day-thank goodness-but when I do it's nice to have these guys to call!!! read more

As a homeowner, is there any greater feeling of relief than having a plumbing problem completely taken care of and at a reasonable price? They squeezed me in the day that I called, they updated me three times about the arrival time, I felt totally unaccustomed to this level of customer service! The guys were great, they quickly addressed the issue, they were totally helpful and had good feedback and recommendations. I'm very thankful to have a high quality, local plumber I can count on. read more

My faucet has been leaking since time immemorial so I wanted it to be fixed and to forget it was ever a problem. Haden and Javier were courteous and got the job done so fast it is still a shock to look over and see a faucet that is superior to the previous one and doesn't leak. Will recommend. Will use again. read more

I had contacted Mike's Plumbing last week for a quote about a new sink install. I spoke with Erik several times and found the interactions to be very professional and helpful. Erik seems to know his stuff and asked questions I hadn't thought of. He was very prompt in responding and thorough in explaining possible issues. He did a cost breakdown for me, so I could get a clear idea of where my money would be spent. His quote was about the same or lower than other plumbers in the area. I would recommend contacting this company for any plumbing issues if you want an honest assessment of the upfront cost. read more

No matter how well a half-hour job is done, you cannot charge a person $290 plus $40 (the 'coming' fee), it's beyond ridiculous. There has to be a differentiation between a 4-hour stopping the flood job and unclogging a small apartment kitchen sink. I spent a lot of time negotiating and talking to Mike to reduce this enormous charge to $241 (which is still way too expensive). Please review your prices. We overpay for services in Calgary, especially in the middle of the crisis when a lot of people are out of work, and cannot afford food. At least request your office admins to inform us about it over the phone, instead of saying: "we have a very competitive prices". I am still in shock. read more

I had storm drain back up at my rental house. I called Mike's plumbing and I was given a quote I am comfortable with over the phone. They wants to rescheduled to the next day on the morning of appointment but they did ask for my permission nicely. Gerry arrived within the time frame of the appointment and put his best effort to open it up with hydro jetting. The final price is the same as original quote without hidden fees or up-sale. Gerry took time to explain and educate me even though he didn't have to. There is no attitude but only respect to me as a customer. Thank you for the excellent job. read more

The whole experience with Mike's Plumbing was great from start to finish. Easy to schedule, they called to remind me the day before, Abbas came wearing mask and gloves and did a great job! Abbas was friendly, quick and plumbed our sink to get the look I wanted (which was chrome piping) even though I didn't have some of the correct parts. Pricing was fair too! I would definitely use Mike's plumbing again. read more

I appreciate any professional who's willing to explain what they're doing as they work so it's not a mystery. I'd work with Mike's Plumbing again. read more

We had a clogged sewer that backed up into the bathtub and leaked out from under the toilet in the main bath. Mike's plumbers cleaned the roots and debris out of the long sewer line (we're set way back from the street) and reset the toilet on a new wax ring. They were thorough, clean, courteous, and generous with their time and information. Best plumbers I've ever hired! read more

I received some assistance from Mike's Plumbing last week. After some minor challenges with scheduling, I finally got a day and time confirmed with them. Two gentlemen arrived early - friendly, masked up, and seemed knowledgeable. They did their work in the estimated 2 hours (installed a new shower valve) and then walked me through what seemed to be a quality job. If I have plumbing issues in the future, I will look to work with Mike's Plumbing again. read more

Prompt, pleasant and professional. Great communication and safety protocals. MJ was my hero today!

Mike's team completely re-piped the lower two levels of our house since we had old galvanized pipes there. The company did a quality job and was easy to communicate with. Their workers are pleasant, approachable and transparent about what's going on. We are very glad that Mike's Plumbing was recommended to us! read more

One of our toilets stopped flushing. It was an old unit, so we decided to get a new one instead of repairing it. Mike's was able to give us a quote over the phone for a specific model of toilet. They replaced it within a couple of days. I'm sure they would have come sooner if we had been desperate, but we weren't. The plumber was courteous and did a great job. He was nice to our little dog who wanted to watch him work. Perfect. read more

What I really had was a minor fix, but it's always the best to leave it for the professionals. At first, they provided me a quick estimate with the photo I provided, easy and competitive price. Scheduling was easy and John arrived timely. John was informative and friendly, explained a little bit how the system works while making sure everything is right. He was able to identify the problem and fixed it within an hour. Would highly recommend Mike's and hire them again in the future! read more

I used Mikes Plumbing for my leak. They took 2 hours to repair it and charged me $3700 dollars. I will never use them again

Had a plumbing issue and had to turn the water off until it was fixed. Called Mike and he came over that day and fixed it! Nice guy, reasonable charge. Would definitely recommend! read more

We had a water pipe leak and Mike's Plumbing was referred to us. We shared our photos and they quickly give us an estimated quote pending site visit. They referred a leak detection company which is equally proficient. On the same day, Mike's Plumbing sent their staff to check out the leak and give a more accurate quote. They explained the job that needs to be done and promptly came out the next day. Then, they called the city after the repair is done to request for inspection. After confirming that the city personnel has approved the work, their people are back again to cover their work. After waiting for the gravel to set in, they come back one more time to do the cold patch. What started as a stressful event became a great learning experience for us. Their staff are all friendly, customer-focused, great in scheduling and clear in explaining the process. Their quote was also lower than another competitor. Definitely recommend this great business. read more

Initially through emailed photos, Erik at Mike's plumbing diagnosed why my touch kitchen faucet quit working and let me know about repair and pricing. I decided to buy a replacement manual faucet instead and Abbas and John came out and did that replacement, correcting and improving other undersink connections and unclogged two slow drains while they were here. They were very courteous and professional, did and excellent and efficient job and cleaned up nicely behind themselves. The prices were very fair. I definitely will continue to request all plumbing help from Mike's Plumbing and let my friends know they are an excellent company. read more

After each of two sewer backups in less than a year, we were persistent with Mike's Plumbing to try to give a highly rated local company our business. The office and field staff were all very friendly. After the first backup, their scope guy identified a clean out we didn't know we had, saving us a bunch of $ to have a new one installed. At the end of the day, however, this company failed on follow through in identifying the root cause (no pun intended!) of the backups, and failed to provide estimates to solve the problem. After SIX visits within a year to identify the problem, and promised follow ups with quotes, we didn't have any resolution on what the problem was or how to fix it. My sense from other reviews is that this company is very good for straightforward issues, but in our case, they lacked the time, interest and follow through. read more

IAnthony just left....super job done...nothing too serious, but not anything I knew how to do..even came early...only charged me for the service call..I am an elderly widow and appreciated his work and very reasonable charge.. Mike's Plumbing should be your Plumber! read more

On time and professional. Didn't leave the door standing open on a cold day. Cody and Dominic did a good job. Cleaned up after themselves and took time to explain what my options were. Will be calling again. read more

Our kitchen faucet was leaking from the base, and we were hosting a party in two days, so having working kitchen plumbing was kind of important. I called Day & Nite and Beacon (recommended by friends for quick work), and both were super evasive about pricing, with Beacon being weirdly confrontational about how their $75 dispatch fee IS NOT an estimate cost (so they can legally claim free estimates?). Meanwhile, Mike gave me his hourly rate, his best estimate, and a worst case scenario cost over the phone. Compared to what I've been seeing on Yelp, Mike's projections were all super reasonable. He showed up, replaced the faucet super quick, and charged us somewhere within $10 of what he originally estimated. Awesome work, thanks Mike! read more

Mike just left my house. Great service and he's a super nice guy. Very knowledgeable, and very thorough. I had a leaky kitchen faucet and a clogged drain. I had tried to snake the drain myself, but somehow made it worse in the process. He snaked it a couple of times and cleared the blockage. He let me watch him change the cartridge in my kitchen faucet so that I can do it next time. He even noticed a washer was missing in my aerator and provided a new aerator. I felt the charge was reasonable and was very happy with the service. To be honest, I know very little about plumbing and I didn't feel like a complete dunce while he was talking to me. That's big in my books. read more

Great knowledgeable and professional front office which puts you at ease right away and provides some peace of mind during a time of need. A few weeks after they performed the garbage disposal installation the newly installed pipes burst. When I called to explanation the situation they acknowledged/took responsibility for the problem (a fluke we both agree), were sufficiently apologetic, and happy to dispatch a technician the same day to correct it. Despite the fact that I was inconvenienced these situations occur yet I would still recommend this company as they are professional and they obviously guarantee there work! I worked with Nikole [front office] and Alex [technician]. Their prices are competitive. read more

I needed a kitchen sink and bathroom vanity drain fixed after I botched them both on a DIY remodel. Mike's Plumbing got back to me very quickly and provided a reasonable quote after I sent them some pictures of the work. Mike himself showed up and he did a fantastic job. He's very professional and worked quickly. The quality of his work made it clear that plumbing should be left to the professionals. When he was done, the price actually came out to be less than the quote. When does that ever happen? Having a good, honest plumber is right up there with having a good family doctor or quality mechanic. Needless to say, I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing. read more

Had plumber come over. He did nothing and charged me $75.00, plus tax for service call. Basically, he didn't want to hassle with my project of snaking a clogged sink and used excuses to not handle. If your a woman, watch out!! read more

I had an emergency issue with a backed-up sewer receiving rain water from my gutters. Mike's team came out before a big storm rolled in and solved the issue right as the rain stated. Mike's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to the rescue again. My mother's home is an older home riddled with problems. Her pipes were clogged which happens when sludge builds up. Ryan and Co. did a great job clearing the line. The service was reasonably priced. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with their service from the person who took my mother's call, provided a quote and scheduled the appointment to technicians who came and provided the service. We will call them for all our plumbing needs going forward. I highly recommend Mike's Plumbing and Drain Cleaning! read more

Mike's Plumbing was great . We called Mike's because we had a leak in our bathroom and they located the problem and fixed it right away. We also had a leaking pipe in our crawlspace so they provided a quote and came back out to complete the work. We had 3 different employees come out and all of them were honest, competent, friendly, and hard-working. In addition, Mike's Plumbing quoted us half the price another plumber was going to charge. I highly recommend Mike's for any of your plumbing needs. read more
