When the plumber arrived, he took a look at our situation and immediately knew what was wrong. Instead of charging us, he explained to my husband how to fix the problem himself if he would rather choose that option. My husband was very appreciative as he would rather fix the issue himself. The issue was just as the plumber had described and my husband was able to resolve the problem. I'm marking 4 stars because I don't want to effect the rating on this companies yelp page. ******* Plumbing experts were the first available of the 3 different companies I had called to give an estimate on 2 gas lines being run in our home; each from the meter, one for our bbq on our back deck, the other to our gas range in the kitchen. We had requested that we have 2 estimates written up: one with the bbq line and one without. This was stated when the appt was made over the phone as well as requested to the tech when he was here. Unfortunately neither estimate was sent for over a week. The receptionist/PM Roxanne who I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. She got the estimate emailed to me quickly after requesting it, but then I had to contact them again in order to get the additional estimate that didn't have the bbq line included. Of the 3, these guys were the most expensive estimate I received for the work. The cost was 2x more than the mid price option. They may do great work, but we didn't get that far. I guess there is a reason people tell you to shop around for plumbing work! read more

Great service and friendly installers who work quickly and honestly. I had my water heater replaced. I did some research and got a few bids on Yelp. Some said to just send them a picture of my current water tank and they would reply with a quote. Other said they'd like to schedule for two or more weeks out. Not only did I hear from AAA water heaters first, but they also offered a pretty fair price! I'll say it wasn't necessary the cheapest but the cheapest also only asked for brand and model info. Not strap or base setup/conditions, so I assume they would've gone up in price as those were some things that were due to be done as well. Also when asking about of tankless heaters. (My master tub can aalmost drain a tank per fill, for example.) They listened and listed the pros and cons of it all and let me make a decision without pressure. (My houses setup required a couple situations resulting in a couple thousand dollars difference, just to install, so it was also an easy choice. But was grateful for the intel and not them just taking that as a "I want a tankless" and charging later.) Overall my experience has been great with them. So much I had them come back a couple weeks later and help with a drain in my kitchen. Surprise! Same great service men came by and found a tampon in the kitchen sink drain?!?! I was looking to get a gas line installed to a patio and was having them give me an estimate. The one star is because no one ever told me there would be a charge for someone to come out and give me an estimate. I received two prior estimates and neither charged me for the 10 minutes they spent with me. Granted, it was only $27.50, but still a poor business practice to not make your customer aware of it ahead of time. They were also WAY off on their estimate. They wanted 5x more than any of my other quotes. $500 setup fee and $100 a foot for black pipe is completely unreasonable. From Lowe's a 10' 3/4" black pipe is $22 or $2.20 a foot. ---------------- EDIT: How you handle a one star review says more about you than any of your 5 star reviews. Stop lying and own up to it. When people read this now, they're not going to see that you handled a one star review well, they're going to see you arguing on the internet. Here's the response you should have given: "Sorry about the mixup, we try and make it a practice to make sure all of our customers know about the dispatch fee ahead of time. We'd be happy to refund you the fee or apply it to any service you perform with us. Give us a call and we'll work it out. Thanks!" That's literally all it would have taken, not the phone call or text or private messages where you are clearly just trying to get me to remove the review. Best of luck. I hope for your company and employees sake that you learn how to handle this stuff better in the future. read more

Oh Wow! i can't believe that i didn't see the voicemail till just now and WOW. This type of customer service is absolutely insane. So our lovely Roxanne decided to call again and leave me an extremely interesting message. Out of the entire 1 minute message rant, she didn't apologize once or did the words "sorry" ever come out her mouth. She INSISTED that I'm in the wrong and the only reason why shes calling is because of the 1 star review and she insisted that "whatever business i worked at, I'm not treated this unfairly like I'm treating Plumbing Experts NW". She also basically lectured me for the rest of the voicemail. Also she was riddled with misinformation in the rest of the voicemail. (I didn't call the day of, i actually called 2 days before. WEDNESDAY), PLEADING to get me in as soon as possible, and you scheduled me for Friday since apparently ALL of Thursday was booked. I said Ok, i appreciate it and waited for the 10AM - 12PM window on Friday morning. AND YOU GUYS NO CALLED/NO SHOWED. Only when i called at 12:30 PM asking if anyone was on their way, then you told me that they were on their way. No courtesy call before, No apology, just excuses and a very insincere tone from Roxanne. So i actually had to call a different plumber and they actually showed up in the time they said they would and fixed the problem day of. I had to pay a "day of service", so thank you Plumbing Experts NW for making me spend more money. So kind of you. I needed a few projects done around my house shortly after I bought it. I found Rob and his team after asking around and got a referral. It was a very good choice. Rob came out the following day with his apprentice. He provided me a written quote on site which was so refreshing to not have to wait a week and then maybe get the quote. It was just right there! The best part was that he was able to do the work right away! Took him about 3 hours to replace my water heater and toilet. The good news is they came out right away when we called, the bad news is they charged us over $1,000 for a vent that wasn't needed and a video of the sewer line that they conveniently forgot to press "record" on. Made them come back to redo the video since we paid for it, however once they did the video they never snaked the sewage line or anything and sewage came up in the basement. Over $1,000 wasted with no results. Assuming these good reviews are family and friends, because I really don't know how anybody could be happy with their unprofessional service. read more

We began a bathroom remodel of our 1950s rambler and in the course noticed lots of small rocks in the sewer line. We called PE NW and they came out to perform a camera inspection of the sewer line. They arrived promptly and we were able to view the video with the plumber as he performed the inspection. The results of the concrete sewer pipes being buried for 60 years wasn't pleasant. In the end, here's what we really appreciated in choosing PE NW to replace the line: 1) They offer/explain the available options. We could choose the cheapest (in the short run) or more expensive (saving money down the line). All of the benefits and drawbacks were very adequately explained to us and we felt very comfortable with any choice (no pressure). 2) They communicate very effectively and timely once a decision is made. We understood the timeline and all of the processes involved. 3) They work fast. The crew removed (entire sidewalk) dug out and replaced the necessary pipes in very short order and we were able to carry on with the remodel. A brief history of my specialize gas water heater. It runs radiant floor heat and daily use. 6 years ago I replaced it by The Janes in Floor Company in Mukilteo. Every year I have it serviced by The Janes in Floor Company to purge the system of radiant floor heat. Through those years I had few minor equipment replaced (mixing valve and expansion tank = $1213). In Jan 2018 I had same company to service the system, I was told by technician that I need to replace the water heater asap. I asked him why since it's only 6 years old. He stated that this (type) of water heater only last 7 years. The Janes in Floor Company charges $6000 to $8000 for new water heater. 6 months later I start experienced loosing water pressure and hot water to barely warm water in the shower. I didn't agree with the technician's opinion. I decided to call around for other plumbing companies for 2nd opinion. After few calls I also found out most plumbing companies does not service this (type) water heater. I almost gave up and cave to The Janes in Floor Co. to prepare to pay $6000 or more to replace it. Finally I reached Plumbing Masters NW in Everett. Within 3 hours technicians Hassan and Zane came to diagnosis the problem. 30 minutes later they found the problem and provide solution to replace thermostat of the tank. Zane also showed me the error code (light flashing from the tank) and explained what it means. Thank you for your expertise and honesty. Unfortunately, I had 3 leaks in a month. First the shower floor, then pex pipe and then ABS pipe. I called Plumbing Masters NW and every time Robert came to rescue my house in a timely manner. I called these guys in the middle of the night after a water heater had ruptured at my condo. It was freezing cold outside in the 30s and there was water pouring out of the deck closet. The hot water had stopped working in my house and water was pouring out and flooding. I did not know what to do but they came out right away and we're kind and courteous. They also helped me move all necessary furniture when they came the following day, yes the following day to put in the water heater. Fast efficient service. They took care of the water heater and even were kind enough to go down and talk to the neighbor to check her place to make sure there was no damage done. He also appreciated my Veteran status Military Service, and Law Enforcement service, and personally thanked me for the sacrifices involved in public service. Quick service, which is hard to get in this area, so I definitely appreciate that. The gentlemen that came out were about 20 minutes late, but it was an 8am appointment so there was probably traffic to contend with. The major downside was the cost. I was quoted over 450 dollars to change out about 6-8 inches of copper pipe. Seemed fairly unreasonable considering I provided the hose bib and already cut away the drywall to expose the plumbing. The tech just had to cut the existing pipe and crimp the new length into its place. If I had more time to spare I would have tried to get a few more quotes. At least the work is done and I don't have to worry about it anymore. read more

RUDE AND OVERPIRCED. I called Plumbing Experts NW for a bid on a plumbing job I had. Adam was 45 minutes late and seemed indifferent about not letting me know he was going to be late. He then walked around the site, didn't write much down, but pointed out everything wrong with my house and the previous work I had done. He also kept receiving texts and calls and kept gloating that business was good and he didn't need to do small jobs. When it was all said and done he gave me a range of $12,000-$20,000 as a bid, for a shower drain, shower valve and a fridge water line!! He then started to leave and his partner (who was very nice), reminded him that he never even got my contact info to give me a firm bid. I understand he was overbidding me because he didn't want the job, but then just tell me over the phone. Don't waste my day with your games. Needless to say I went to Aurora Plumbing who were amazing and did the job for $3,500. Don't trust Adam!!!!!! read more

I dreaded using a plumber but really needed one and when I saw there truck in my neighborhood, called and found out they will come give a quote for only$25 bucks I was so happy. Robert easily fixed a leak under kitchen sink and didn't charge me for it. Main leak was a bigger problem and so I was glad I called rather than use a handyman off of Craigslist. Fee seemed very reasonable for the work they had to do. His son was nice enough to video tape, in my craw space, where my main water turn off was which was.
