Called to fix two leaky toilets, a leaky tub, and two leaky outside faucets. They were able to give me a quote over email based on pictures, then came out to fix the problem. Once they assessed everything in person, the final bill came out at half the original estimate. I'm sure it could go either way depending on the work that was needed, but the fact that they will revise downward points to integrity. Will update when I see how the repairs hold, but right now I'm thrilled! read more

Yesterday Wallner plumbing installed a new gas water heater in my home. It was easy to get a quote, and set up an appointment at a convenient time. Tony arrived right on time, assessed the job and got to work. He was friendly, professional and kept me informed as the project was in process. He completed the job in a timely manner, cleaned everything, even cleaned the tub where he drained the water from the old water heater. The charge was exactly as quoted, no surprises. We have used Wallner Plumbing for over 30 years and never been disappointed. We had this weird vibration that came when we used a sink or toilet. A bit scary. Tony came and identified the problem immediately. It was a faulty reduction valve. He replaced it and used all PEX plus added a full house shut off valve. He also identified a problem with a couple of our toilets that just needed a new flapper. Quick, perfect job, no mess and the price was much less than we expected. Hard to beat. read more

We were impressed! After service was treated like an idiot. Told us we were turning off faucet to hard. Only use pinkie pressure. Went on you tube and bought a $20 tool and fixed myself in 5 mins. My problem was not High enough priority for them to return and complete the repair. read more

Pre-pandemic we contacted them for an estimate to fix a water leak between the house and the street. It took a week to have someone to the a look at the problem. Three weeks after they visited we didn't have an estimate! They kept giving excuses why they couldn't give an estimate. They didn't want my business apparently. I doubt they will want yours. This company was recommended to me by a realtor friend and we had them fix some leaky outdoor faucets years earlier and had no issue. Word of mouth tells me that ownership changed hands from father to son since then and now their service is crap. read more

We had several plumbing projects saved up and were referred to Wallner by my parents. As one reviewer suggested, it takes time to get the initial call back (usually takes about a 1/2 to one day), but they provide high quality service at a great price. Last spring they replaced our two toilets with Toto Drake ADA toilets, which we really like. These are higher, ergonomic, and water-efficient toilets. We didn't even get the most water-efficient model, but these are still so much better than the original toilets installed when our house was built in 1998. The toilets are very reliable. The old ones plugged just when looking at them wrong. So far, we haven't had any of those issues with the new ones. One of the Totos did have a flushing issue in that it would keep running after flushing it. We contacted Wallner about 3-4 months after the installation and they were super responsive. They were able to replicate the problem and tracked down a replacement part for it and it's been fine since. Wallner also cleared a slow kitchen drain, replaced the Moen cartridge in our bathroom faucet, and added insulation to the front and back hose bibs. We were pleasantly surprised at their reasonable cost for all of this work. It was only slightly more to have all of this done and pay the cost of the toilets than what we paid for an emergency repair by Beacon to fix a leaking pipe!! And, Wallner was so much more pleasant and kind to deal with. Wallner is now our go-to plumber! read more

I had a poor experience with this plumbing company. A.W. agreed to work by the hour, but he ended up charging by the job at about twice the price (he had an amateur helper with him, who was in minimum wage level). I did not feel he did quality work. After spending $2000+, I needed to hire another plumber to fix mistakes made by Wallner (I had several plumbers come out for bids, and all agreed there were problems). Initially I asked Wallner to address problems, but his office gave many conflicting responses why they would not do so (first they said my bathroom is too small to install to code, and next time they said they did everything exactly to code.... any and all excuses). They have low reviews on Consumer Checklist. I wish I had read these before and not hired. Very disappointed by their work quality, attitudes, and refusal to stand behind their work. BTW, this is my first time ever posting a negative review for a vendor, but as a consumer, I feel I need to speak up. read more

I needed a new gas line installed for an outdoor grill. They responded quickly to E-Mail query for a new quote, unlike most other plumbers who were contacted and never replied. Showed up on time for the quote and when we chose them they completed the work on time and within the quoted price. A few weeks later we thought there was a problem with the work that was done and they responded quickly to come out and fix the issue. It turned out to be a problem on our end but they didn't bill for the house call or time spent investigating it. Made a yelp account literally to just make this review. read more

I had to replace the main water supply pipe between the meter by the street and the inlet of the house. We called Wallner and a couple other plumbing companies to provide some price quotes. Tony of Wallner came to take a look and then quickly provided a couple options via email. We chose the inexpensive option which requires me to do the digging. Tony gave me useful instructions to perform the digging. When it came time for the installation, Tony showed up in the morning on time and then finished up the job sharp on time as he had indicated, which was very helpful for me since I had to take the morning off from work. The job that Tony did was very good, he is very professional and knowledgeable in his trade. I am so glad that my wife found this company. The other plumbers' quotes are 20 to 40% higher. One of them even said "the rental rates in your area are so high, my quote is reasonable" as if the plumbing rate is determined by the rental rate of the area; I immediately rejected his quote. read more

I am so grateful to have found this company! They came on time, the guy was perfectly professional and worked very quickly and efficiently. They re-installed a dishwasher, fixed a toilet that was making a funny sound post-flush, diagnosed and fixed a leaky hose under my sink, inspected the hook up of an ice maker line - all in one hour. They charge a reasonable rate and were very honest. It's a family business and they don't advertise much, but don't skip them because of the lack of hype / reviews. I almost used a co. that has 5 stars on yelp (it has Forest in the name), but he quoted me an outrageous rate compared to Waller. I think Waller could be the last honest and knowledgeable plumbing company. read more
