I picked them due to their immediate…read moreavailability, flexibility for doing two separate plumbing jobs on one visit, and positive reviews on Yelp. The work I needed done was the installation of a 50-gal electric hot water heater (plus haul away of the old one) and the diagnosis/replacement of a corroded waste line connector for a garbage disposal. When I set up my appointment, I made sure to clarify that I wasn't going to be charged for the service visit, or additionally, for any diagnostic steps. Keep this in mind if you're considering them because it's probably a better idea to go with a plumbing company that won't charge you just to come out and physically look at the work you want done. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry, not because something was broken, but due to the fact that completing the work quickly was pivotal to getting a condo sale to the finish line. I was able to schedule my appointment for as early as Monday despite making the initial contact with 2 Sons Plumbing on Thursday (they could've come sooner, but I opted to avoid the extra "rush" or weekend fees by waiting until Monday). One thing I didn't like about their business model is there's no upfront cost for general jobs (i.e., install a hot water heater) or any idea of hourly charges. For instance, with Lowe's and/or Home Depot, I could call and get quotes for this type of work from their subcontractors. Going through Fast Water Heater (Lowe's preferred subcontractor), a 50-gal water heater installation might run between $2,200 and $2,400 depending on the model of hot water heater (the purchase of which is included in the quote). I ended up buying a new water heater from Home Depot ($871 after taxes) a couple of days prior to my appointment with 2 Sons Plumbing, and hauling it up a few flights of stairs to the condo in order to save money. I would later find out that, had I bought the 50-gal electric water heater carried in the back of the 2 Sons Plumbing Truck, it would've cost $3600 (I have no idea why it was this expensive). In the end, I paid 2 Sons Plumbing $1870 after taxes for the installation of the Home Depot Water Heater and haul-away of my old one ($2700+ if you include the price of the hot water heater I bought on my own). In addition to the hot water heater install, I ended up paying for a new garbage disposal plus its installation because the corrosion in the waste line was so bad that new parts were needed (which they didn't have). It made more sense to just replace the whole thing (current garbage disposal was 10+ years old)--This came out to $786.88 after taxes and a 3% convenience fee for using a credit card. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the knowledge/prep work I had done for 2 Sons Plumbing before going with them. The final cost to me certainly had the potential to be much higher had I let 2 Sons Plumbing provide or do everything. The job took about 6 hours to complete, and I paid in the ballpark of $2500 for the hourly rates (?) plus the purchase of a basic garbage disposal and a minuscule amount of parts. I overheard that the general hourly rate is $400, so what I paid aligns with that. The amount of contact and post-job follow up documentation I received (emails; texts; invoices; etc.) was thorough but also annoying (I.e., solicitation for reviews). All things considered, here's how I'd rate things: Availability/Communication: 5/5 Cost: 2/5 Technician: 5/5 Invoice/Follow-up: 3/5

The team listened carefully, explained everything clearly, and resolved the issues with confidence, skill, and integrity. Next, I bought a 1931 home that was a rental. It had deferred maintenance. And the inspection report told me I would need to make some plumbing fixes. I had them replace all the tub/shower faucets and valves. I also got a new tub drain (there was evidence that at some point there had been a leak). I got a new water shut off. A new copper water line for the fridge. A new basement utility sink. New water connection to the washer. A new p-trap to the bathroom sink. I learned that the best faucets are Moen. Garrett and Abe are a great team. I do feel like Jafco is more expensive than if you hire a local one-person plumber. That might be to cover their marketing and scheduling. But Jafco can fit your in pretty quickly. So that is a nice trade-off for when your plumbing job is time sensitive.

They used their boring machine to lay a new pipe under huge boulders, our lawn and our concrete pad. We appreciated the minimal disruption to our landscaping. We have a brand new water line, we've had zero issues, and we are confident we will have no future issues. We had a miscommunication about who would secure the permit, but as soon as I brought it to Done Right's attention, Wendy and Steve took care of it immediately and we had an approved permit in a matter of a week. This company does a really professional, high-quality job and I would entrust my property to them in the future. In addition, I felt that their price was very, very reasonable. The cheapest option when it comes to plumbing is DEFINITELY NOT ALWAYS THE BEST OPTION! When it comes to plumbing, you want to make sure the job is done right. I recommend this company.

MOST construction projects hit some sort of issues and my project was no exception, I'm explaining this because it's when the problems get hard that you really see the true colors of a company and their leadership. Rob followed through with my project when the project got complicated and tough, I learned that Rob is a leader and will stand by what he says and that is the kind of company that you want to do business with when your spending big money digging holes and lining your side sewer. All of the employees that I interacted with were competent and they were all professional. The work they did had some parts that other sewer lining companies weren't even sure they could do. Pro Sewer's finished product was tidy and done to the contract terms. If you are collecting a couple bids for side sewer work, MAKE SURE YOU CALL PRO SEWER as one of your bids!

I appreciate Rob's communication, creative problem-solving, ability to do a tough job, and a very fair price. They quickly finished the job and sent clear video of the completed job. I highly recommend Rob and his crew.
