As this wasn't an emergency, the dispslatcher said it would be today or tomorrow before a plumber would be sent. He was sent today. Sean called and arrived early afternoon and looked at the repair. He presented us three options and solid estimates. We chose the middle one and then decided to also ask about a toilet replacement. Again, Sean presented us options and we agreed to one He gave us. As he didn't have the toilet on his repair truck, Bee's dispatched an employee with a new toilet. Sean was very professional in his work, answering questions as he proceeded with the work. He mentioned a couple of things that needed replacing due to their aging. We agreed to have them replaced. When Sean presented the invoice, it was exactly as he stated. At no time did he try to "upsell" items were didn't need, unlike other plumbing firms in this area that are heavy TV advertisers. I would recommend Bee's Plumbing to anyone that ask! Thank you, Sean! It was a Saturday, so... not a great start to the weekend, and also, not a lot of (decent) plumbers available! Anyway, I posted a project on Yelp, and Homeservice Plumbers were fairly quick to respond after my other Project options (not to be named here) either demanded a phone number or made wishy-washy timing range options (which were not amenable to my schedule). Homeservice Plumbers was quick, to the point, and not pushy or demanding at all anytime I was talking to them. I scheduled for Tuesday between 12-2pm arrival, and Xavier, the first person who came out to see the problem, showed up in a timely manner (just before 12pm!) as he had another service call in the area. He was respectful of property (brought his own shoe coverings!) and was also pleasant to work with. Unfortunately he didn't have the tools, but he was the one to call in Nick who had the requisite tools for the job. He confirmed the service would be possible, and off he went. The next person, Nick was great to work with - he arrived promptly at 5pm (the quoted range was 3-5pm, which was perfectly reasonable), respected the property (brought his own shoe coverings, asked to use a small bowl to capture the grease drippings from the p-trap, and cleaned up after the work was done), and was able to provide a fair estimate for a high value of quality work. He finished by 6:30pm and confirmed the drain was working, and verbally confirmed (it's not on the invoice but I hope I never have issues again!) that there's a one year labour warranty - great deal! I never caught the phone "operators" name (my bad, she called me THRICE and I still never caught her name), but she was cordial, polite, and quickly handled my concerns for updates on when the plumber(s) would arrive. Scheduling through Yelp was simple and easy - and having no "service call" fee means there's no obligation to go through with anything you're not comfortable with. Anyway, short story (really) long: this company is on my list of "high quality work at a fair rate", because (1) they don't charge for service calls, which is a bold move in today's service-oriented environment, (2) they are reasonable with pricing given that I'd done some research beforehand, and (3) they verbally offered a warranty for their services, which means that they're willing to stand by the quality of their work. Call them today for your plumbing issues. Fair, honest, trustworthy service is hard to come by - the companies you see on the billboards aren't the only options in town!

I got a phone call in the morning at 8:26 saying they would be here in 20 minutes, I was still sleeping. Got out of bed and there was a knock at my door- 2 mins later! I was not prepared. He said they would be back between 2 and 4 to do the repair, they didn't get here until after 5 PM. I was severely overcharged. I was told I would just be charged for parts and labor. They charged me $250 for a $99 faucet, I looked it up. And charged me $500 for less than 20 minutes of labor. Obviously, the timeslots mean nothing to these people. And again, I feel like I was severely overcharged.

Next, I bought a 1931 home that was a rental. It had deferred maintenance. And the inspection report told me I would need to make some plumbing fixes. I had them replace all the tub/shower faucets and valves. I also got a new tub drain (there was evidence that at some point there had been a leak). I got a new water shut off. A new copper water line for the fridge. A new basement utility sink. New water connection to the washer. A new p-trap to the bathroom sink. I learned that the best faucets are Moen. Garrett and Abe are a great team. I do feel like Jafco is more expensive than if you hire a local one-person plumber. That might be to cover their marketing and scheduling. But Jafco can fit your in pretty quickly. So that is a nice trade-off for when your plumbing job is time sensitive.

He's been installing water heaters for 20+ years. My husband and I originally wanted a tankless water heater, but Chris took the time to explain the pros and cons. I asked about other options and he explained various hot water tank options. Chris advised a high-recovery 50-gallon water heater alone would likely meet our needs, but we chose to add a mixing valve for even more available hot water. Once they had me in their system, they started contacting me in advance to schedule the test each year, which I really appreciate since the city notice doesn't usually give a lot of turnaround time. This year the city surprised me by sending the notice a month early, and I was on vacation when the notice came. This left me with just over a week before it was due. I contacted 5 Star Backflow Services and they were able to do the test just a couple days later. After the test they always send the report directly to the city within 24 hours. I have been very pleased with the service. Thank you!

If you have any type of issue, call these guys as they are Responsive, Knowledgeable, Professional, Pragmatic, and Effective. We had a serious issue with one of our side sewers that was effecting one of our home owners. The owners management company attempted to fix it over a period of several days. They failed miserably and abandoned the issue altogether. I spoke to many companies and individuals before speaking with Rob. From the outset it was clear he knew what he was talking about and was in the business of resolving issues. He was also humble and admitted that he might not be able to resolve the issue, however, he would do all he could to make it happen. Rob showed up 45 minutes later to asses the situation. After some discussion and planning Rob and his team solved the problem in a matter of hours. These guys are the real deal. If anyone wants to message to ask questions about our experience with Pro Sewer, you are welcome to contact me or ever view the job location. We have a shared side sewer and the clay pipes were original 1908. We had contemplated (with our neighbors) lining the pipes many times over the years because we literally had to do maintenance rooting for tree roots every 2-3 years, but the cost really scared us away. After hearing from one too many rooter companies that they were a little scared to be rooting or jetting our clay pipes we finally redid the homework and called I think probably every sewer pipe lining company in Seattle to get estimates. We literally got 8 estimates. The front office staff and the estimator of Pro Sewer were very friendly and that plus the actual estimate got us hiring Pro Sewer. They were quick. They were friendly. Being part of a shared sewer system is not a pleasant experience. I had been trying for year to get all users on the system to agree to spend the money to do the needed repairs. Estimates were very high. Finally one of the shared users had a catastrophic failure so we had no choice but to do the needed repairs. Somebody recommended Pro Sewer. We got a an estimate which was very reasonable. Rob even came out a second time to scope part of the sewer system that I knew not to be in agreement with Seattle's sewer map of our properties. They came and did the work. After all the holes were re-filled and the area cleaned up you'd never know they'd been here. I own rentals and part owner of a construction company. While we were in the process of selling our home, a sewer scope revealed a break 14' below the street, just before the main. I sought a number of quotes for repairs, and saw an interesting range of proposals to solve the problem. Communicating with Rob was very straight-forward. He only quoted what was needed, and did not boast, use scare tactics, or attempt to expand the scope of work like some of the others I spoke with. We had a very short closing window, and the friendly team at Pro Sewer Repair were able to get the work done in a timely and professional manner. Highly recommended. We share a side sewer with 4 other property owners. The primary section of the shared sewer line was the original 1904 clay pipe. We were doing regular snaking and jetting to maintain the line from root intrusions and soft blockages. The pipe was also developing cracks and was pitting, so failure was likely. We spoke with other sewer contractors, one of whom recommended ProSewer. Rob evaluated the situation and gave us a really competitive estimate for pipe bursting. Dealing with 4 other owners was make much easier with information from Rob and Jamie. The repair process went extremely smoothly with minimal disruption, and the project was completed on time and on budget. We used Pro Sewer to fix a hole in our pipe and line another portion. Rob, the contractor, is very responsive and will take the time to walk you through his view of the issues. He does not pressure you, which is a welcome relief when you are trying to figure out whether a $10,000 repair is needed. He also came in about $2,000 cheaper than anyone else. In addition, his crew, Jason and Sterling, were pleasant and did careful work removing our deck boards without breaking them (no other company would commit to that). Our water line had a leak ($800/month water bills--check your autopay!). The line went thru a rockery and a retaining wall, then under the slab to the back of our house -- so it would require directional drilling. We had three different contractors out, two bids and one refusal. Rob, however, thought the job could be done without breaking up any concrete (the other bid did not even consider this). Pro Sewer Repair is highly recommended. Had a backup of my line, and after it was hydro flushed, Action Jackson recommended we have Pro Sewer Repair look at the video and recommend further work. There was a hole in the concrete pipe, from the house to the main. Pipes are 100 years old. Rob recommended lining the pipe, and gave me an option to replace the whole line as well. We lined it rather than replace, and appreciated that Rob was clear and honest about what was needed.
