The sewer pipe connecting my home to the city main backed up several weeks ago. I rented a power machine and cleared it. The fix lasted a couple of days. I called several local firms to get estimates to repair whatever was wrong. ECS scoped the pipe at no cost to me and provided a quote. The quote I received from ECS was very competitive compared to other estimates I got. I ended up having ECS installing a new pipe within my old pipe from the sidewalk to my home. The disturbance to my yard was minimal. Wayne was easy to talk to and wonderfully honest and straightforward. The crew who performed the work was very professional and great to work with. I worked in construction for 15 years and then was a consulting mechanical engineer for commercial and institutional buildings for 18 years. But Wayne and Will at Emerald City Sewer not only solved our issue quickly and smoothly but I received extremely kind and clear communication throughout the process. Service was beyond excellent. We all cringe and clutch our wallets at the thought of needing plumbing work or when there is "wind" of sewage issues. And sadly, in this COVID climate, we are expecting things to turn down a dark path however I am fortunate to have been able to reach out to a very local business...literally, down the street.
