Angel is incredibly nice and honest. I had to have work done because of a nieghbor. While he used one plumber from a different company we used Dirt Cheap. Because of the shared line we had to interact with both plumbers. We were actually harassed by the other one in the middle of the night. We watched as our neighbor paid thousands more for work that took 2 weeks while Angel took 3 days. I would highly reccomend Dirt Cheap and I wouldn't hesistate to call them again. read more

She was very friendly and professional and was able to get a hydrojet truck out to my house the next day. Cameron was my technician and did a phenomenal job. I don't often write reviews but this warrants one. I received a quote of $7500 to replace the water line in my house from the owner, Colin King. I liked their unobtrusive approach of trenchless installation. Colin mentioned that he would try to connect the new PEX pipe at a copper pipe underground near the house. Problem is we both saw galvanized steel going from my house into the ground. I asked if there would be an additional charge to go under the sidewalk right into my garage if necessary. He told me that 90% of the time he can go underground. Again, I asked if he had to jackhammer and repair my concrete if that was covered by the quote, and if not, what the approximate charge would be. My feeling is that this is extra work and that he deserves to be paid for it, but I would like to know what it might cost up front. After three attempts with evasive answers, he declared that I ask too many questions and that I should look elsewhere. Very unprofessional. I thought my question was reasonable, polite, and very strait forward. I was not asking for every possible contingency cost, just the likely costs to complete the job. Might have dodged a bullet here. read more

They did 2 jobs for my community. I had to get them to rewrite the 2nd estimate to be more explicit and clear from the first job being incomplete. They didn't communicate when they were done with the job. I just thought they had stopped working for weeks. There were leftover tasks that were not done. In the end, it did not solve our leaking planters and we have to get another company to redo their work. We have drain holes that are not drilled low enough. We have a drain hole that leaves mud down the side of our building. read more

We are extremely pleased with Dirt Cheap's repair/upgrade of our sewer line. After 70 years of operation, we were looking to replace an exterior sewer pipe. Every 2 to 3 years we would have to get a plumber to cut out the roots clogging our sewer line. The last time it happened was December 24th. It was a multi year process to find the right company to do the job. We received 4-5 bids. Dirt Cheap had the least invasive solution, had the best warranty (25-year Transferable Warranty), and had the best price. The workers were experienced, worked hard and were a pleasure to work with. They installed 2 liners and replaced one long sewer pipe. The materials were all first rate. After installation, the team pressure tested the system and the city inspector gave final approval to the project. This is a very ethical company with high standards. After the dirt and original turf were put back in place, the area looked as good as before. There is no point showing the before and after pictures of the yard, because the pictures look identical. I love this company and its technician, Mr. Cervantes. I really feel badly for not writing this review earlier. I was assigned a project at work and called four different companies to come out and give us a bid on a broken water main at our business. DC was the most thorough, straightforward and professional of the bunch. DC's technician, Mr. Cervantes was a real expert and he was punctual, polite and very thorough. He even came out a 2nd time (prior to submitting the bid), to photograph our water main and pipes. My boss told me how impressed he was with Mr. Cervantes' service and demeanor. I felt so bad not getting approval from our landlord (King County), on this project for over two months. Amazing customer service. Katheryn is on top of her game, answers emails in timely manner each time. I believe i contacted them for a quote through angie's list and i got a call back from her within an hour or so. Our project was not urgent one yet we had it done pretty fast (something like within a week or two?). The workers were also very efficient and thorough. We had quite a digging going on, but when they were done it was hard to tell that there was anything going on at all. They took great care not to ruin our lawn beyond necessary (they used plywood under the "wheels" of the digger so that the damage was minimized) and then they took an entire day to clean up. They even washed the sidewalk and planted grass seeds on the disturbed lawn areas! We were very impressed and relieved we didn't have to do any of that :) read more

The reviews about this crew are true, I also had a great experience with Dirt Cheap Sewers for a complete sewer replacement. From Angel initially determining the cause and location of the problem, to offering every option available and on the spot estimating with fair pricing, to delivering on exactly the promise made. Day one, they trenched by hand, in the cramped space under the deck, replaced the root destroyed pipe, and had me back in action by the end of the day. The remaining days also required hand trenching to protect a slope sensitive tree line, and even without requesting it, I watched them take care to not hurt the large primary root structures of the trees, digging under and around them to access the old line, only cutting a few that needed it. This type of care was demonstrated throughout. Accessing the portion under the house required cutting the slab, and a touch of jack hammering, but before the work began, Austin and Poncho took the time to seal off the rest of the house, as well as some belongings left in the basement. This crew works hard, staying as late as it took each night to finish the days portion of work and get me reconnected, while being receptive to my questions or specific requests. Then, at the end of it all, after back-filling and pouring me a beautiful cement patch, gifting me two new and more convenient clean outs, they literally cleaned my basement better than they found it. They came out the same day that our old sewer line backed up from the heavy rains we had a couple months ago. Cannot beleive how honest they were. It is an old line that has not been used for decades. They said I could easily, effectively and cheaply fix the problem with hydrolic cement. And he did not even charge for the visit. Between our 2 properties, we have used Dirt Cheap on 3 occasions and on each job, they have not disappointed. This group of folks, start to finish, is so polite, knowledgeable, communicative, hardworking and very HONEST. They might not be the biggest outfit but we have no complaints. There are several good companies that do great work but we always come back to Dirt Cheap because the pricing is hard to beat and we don't feel like there is any drop-off in work product quality by paying less. Dirt Cheap is a really good company with a level of integrity that is quite refreshing in a very competitive field. Angel Cervantes and Kathy Myers were are field and office contacts respectively and we feel like we were in great hands throughout the process! The most recent breech was at our primary residence and it was a major repair. I'm torn between a 3 and 4 star review. We had them do a septic decommission​ and hookup to the ​sewer. Their price was good, not the cheapest but on the cheaper side, but they had recently done our neighbor's​ house so we went with them. Overall I would say I would go with them again. Collin was very responsive and easy to work with. From what I can tell so far, the sewer hookup has been fine and is working and we aren't having any plumbing issues so very good stuff there. That said, there were a few issues. One issue, our yard is a rocky muddy, uneven disaster. I'm not sure if that is common with this work or if people usually clean that up, but right now it is a mess and I don't think I can do much about it until the spring. They also broke my firepit. Collin took the cost of replacement off of the bill, but I would have appreciated it if they told me about it before they left instead of ignoring it. Maybe they didn't notice, but nobody said anything, I noticed it the next day. There was also a little bit of stuff, like not fully cleaning up, they used some bricks that I had to secure their trailer, no problem, but they didn't put them back where they came from. The removed some solar lights and didn't put them back. So just some nitpicky details that, if executed on would have made this a 4 star. These guys were hired by our landlord to fix a leak in the front yard. The first crew was okay, and while one of the guys came to our door without a mask on at one point, he promptly put it on when I asked. However the next crew that came around, was led by a super loud, obnoxious white guy who smoked, yelled from his truck and wouldn't wear his mask. Toxic masculinity galore. I'm not kidding. Yuck and creeps. They sure worked hard and fixed the leak, but it sucked having them around when I was alone at home with my baby. Also, after taking out most of the front yard dirt and shrubs to get to the pipes, they put the plants back in all the wrong places (and very poorly), and they used SO many gallons of water to pack the dirt that we now have a totally unworkable clay-like soil. Seriously, it's like cement and it is collapsing in places where they didn't fill it up properly. Total crap job. Totally obnoxious dude. read more

ABSOLUTELY HIRE THIS COMPANY! Angel is a godsend. He is completely trustworthy and will do the work at a fair price. I would even argue that he goes above and beyond for you. For example he used his camera for free to do some investigative work. Other companies tried to charge us 200 dollars for that. We had exposed the sewage problem ourselves and had other companies quote us 3000 dollars. Angel did the work for us for 550. We couldn't use the water in our house for a few days and Angel stayed until 10 at night to do the work and make sure we could live in our house comfortably(and flush our toilets!) Angel and his team were tremendous. We recently had our sewer pipes and water pipes replaced. I was concerned because the job was more complicated than a sewer/water line replacement typically is. The Dirt Cheap crew did the job skillfully and stuck to their bid even when they ran into some barriers. They were very communicative and stayed long hours in the rain and cold for troubleshooting and to make sure we could use our water/sewer. They were easy to talk to and professional throughout.
