Service was high quality but cost was very expensive. They charged roughly $600 for a toilet clog fix with auger, and then another $600 if they have to remove and reinstall the toilet as part of the work. So all in $1200 to address a toilet clog (kids hair clip had been dropped the toilet). The people were professional but their pricing is too expensive and not transparent. They refused to share pricing before they arrived even though I asked, which is why I'm sharing the info here. They intentionally won't share pricing until they arrive on site which is a $99 fee. It's part of their business strategy. This is the BMW of toilet repair, when a Toyota would do. read more

We had to pay $100 for them to come out to look under the house and proceed to tell us that we needed to have an entire re-pipe of our cast-iron system ($40,000!!!). Didn't even look at anything else, flushed the toilet a few times and ran the water to say everything inside looked pretty good. 3 other plumbing companies (that didn't charge us for an estimate) have been out that have told us our system looks fine and there are just a few much much much cheaper options to fix the little things going on. read more

I put in an online request to have a hot water tank replaced along with the taps for my washing machine. The person showed up on time - great! Took a look at the job - great again. And then quoted me almost $8000 for what should have been max a $3000 job. Absolute highway robbery - makes me wonder if they saw a single, older woman and decided to try to take advantage. And then, charged me $100 for showing up to try to rip me off. I used another service who put in the exact same tank that Apollo told me they would use, and charged me $2500 (and fixed the dripping tap for free!!) for the job. I called and spoke with someone at Apollo's who promised to send me a refund for the $100...it's been well over a month and I haven't seen that money. Very Unhappy with the Bait and Switch Program. They came out to clean a drain with an initial price. When they arrived it was a different pipe so the pipe cleaning was increased dramatically. Then they couldn't get the pipe cleaned the way they were doing it and said we had to jet now instead of snake the line. Again another huge price increase. I refused and called another firm who had the work done in about 15 minutes for less money than they were charging for the snake job. No, it was not an "emergency" call. I even made an appointment, and the appointment was cancelled, and rescheduled. And I was flexible, and didn't call someone else. And still they charged me freakin $1500. Also they did NOT turn my water back on after leaving. And moved copper pipe in the crawl space, and after leaving, heard a loud metal twang of pipe dropping because they did a crap job of securing it. These guys should have their license revoked. Quick! Call the COPS! I was robbed by Apollo Plumbing! I was notifed by city utilities I had a water main leak, between house and water meter. No obvious signs of a leak so I needed LEAK DETECTION services. They were quick to call me and make appointment for Leak Detection service ONLY. I was told date and time and that it cost $108 to come out. She never said what the cost was for the leak detection service...I assumed $108. Silly me. The $110 was for them to show up stand in my driveway and offer MEMBERSHIP services and monthly fees. Barely interested in my core issue. He asked if I wanted leak detection services without membership and I said yes...and he quoted me $1200.00 for the service. I then proceeded to get robbed of the $108 for showing up. I also took 2 hours off work. So I lost $325 in total. I asked what it would cost for trench-less water line replacement, less than 30 feet mind you. I was quoted nearly $22,000!!! They evaluated NOTHING. I completely understand the trades are pricey, rightfully so. But Appollo's smoke and mirrors and deception is despicable! I immediately got 2 more detection quotes from two smaller reputable companies. HALF the price at $660. STAY AWAY from Appollo. 1 star they showed up on time. read more

Absolutely terrible! I had an appointment scheduled with them for two weeks. They called hours before to reschedule from Tuesday to Friday. Friday comes, just again a few hours from my appointment, they call and cancel saying that we are outside of their service area! They had my address the entire time and rescheduled day of, then canceled their rescheduled appointment! Then she had the gall to say check the BBB website for a company in your area! Clearly you told me YOU SERVICED my area if you booked and even rescheduled my appointment! I hired Apollo Plumbing to fix a bathroom leak and a small sewage leak at my mother's house. They sent Ramiro M, who was pleasant, and eager to help with whatever plumbing concerns we had. When I asked if he had time to provide estimates for several separate issues he said, "I'll rebuild the whole house if you want!" He provided estimates for fixing the leak under the sink, the sewage leak, plus a water leak he found under the house. These three totaled around $4900. My mom, who is 86, does not have much money, and this represents about a third of her total savings, yet she wants to get things fixed, and fixed now. When he added estimates at our request for replacing the toilet ($1600), the bathroom sink faucet ($850), the shower cartridge ($1000) and the leaky hot water shutoff under the bathroom sink ($4000), I had to talk her out of agreeing to have everything done on the spot. At those prices her savings would essentially be gone. I had to leave before the work was done, so I paid him before I left. When I returned the following week I found that the underside of the bathroom sink was still leaking, albeit slowly. They sent Ramiro out again, and he said that he had replaced the sink stopper assembly, but it was the P trap which was leaking. He agreed to fix it at no charge, however, which was appreciated. He also said that if we went ahead with the $4000 repair of the hot water shutoff he would buy us a new sink faucet to install at no charge, as well as replace all the plumbing under the sink. In my experience, nothing screams overcharge like, "if you buy this, I'll throw in this, that and the other thing". So I told mom that I would try the plumber recommended by the ownership of her mobile home park. That's what I should have done to begin with. This company did not charge $99 to come out, but rather asked for emailed photos, and then provided written estimates in their emailed response, as well as a phone call. Their estimate for the shower cartridge was $405 (Apollo $1000) and $295 for the hot water shutoff leak. That's the one that Ramiro quoted $4000 to repair... with the generously included "free gifts". We hired them to do the work, and they completed it beautifully and on budget. I hadn't been aware that their estimate of $295 had also included replacing the cold water shutoff and replacing the hoses to the sink for both, but it did, and we could not have been happier with their work and the total charge of $773.50. I don't know what their charges would have been for the initial three repairs but, based on this comparison, I'm sure it would have been quite a bit less than $4900. So, if you want to pay much more than necessary, hire Apollo Plumbing. But if you want to save significant money, do your research like I should have done. But to be fair to Ramiro, he had a guide book which laid out the pricing for all repairs. He said it was to prevent their plumbers from coming up with their own prices. And it seems like the pricing is set high enough to ensure that the estimate will not be exceeded, no matter what difficulties the plumber encounters. But $4000 compared to $300 is nothing less than an outrage. read more

I would never do business with them again. Henry was a go getter salesman, refusing to address the problem, he was asked to use a snake, camera or jetter to verify our drain was clogged. He refused to do any work unless he could do what he wanted. Almost $5000 billed, he gave us a bogus receipt with no total, said he would email pictures and receipt to us. After a wicked cold snap we got hit with a huge water bill. Some quick trouble shooting and I isolated the line from the meter to the crawl space to be the point of the leak. I even dug up the meter box and our irrigation box to verify the tie in's were not the source of the leak. Called Apollo plumbing and they came out to give a $7,700 bid to replace 30ft of line at $175 per foot and an additional $1,100 for a vac truck. That was the first red flag. The dude tells me inside my house that its $155 per foot and then writes up a bid at $175 per foot. Either way I call my insurance, start a home owners claim, send in my water bill, increased usage, and weather reports that coincided with the cold snap. Insurance contacted Apollo plumbing to verify the cracked pipe could be related to the cold snap we had. That's when the technician Josh states to the insurance company that the cold weather in no way could have affected the pipe breaking. Any idiot with half a brain can tell you that cold weather causes expansion and contraction of foundations and the earth, which led to the pipe breaking. So now my insurance denied the claim. My piece of advice is not to let these clowns near your house or property. Keep them as far away as possible. read more

We had friends visiting from out of town, and our mainline sewer piping backed up, we were in dire need of getting it fixed asap. This is a known root problem that occurs about every two years, so I know it's an issue. I wanted to try Apollo Plumbing because of their advertisement on the radio for $90 or free if it can't be unclogged. Their initial visit becomes $99 to come out, and they specify no sales pressure. Even before the Technician opened to view the drain, he quoted where it came to be a shocking $3500!! They use some type of pressure washer with rotating clippers to cut out the protruding roots, that's all. The most I've ever had to pay in the past was $800. Like the foolish, desperate idiot I was, hearing they already had the equipment ready in the back alley, I reluctantly accepted and gave in. He said this was the worst he had seen, but seeing the video, I could have lived with a smaller-priced trimming from another company! Not even all the roots were cut out. He wanted to come back in two weeks and do more for an extra cost of $1400. He said I needed a complete line replacement at the cost of $50,000!! Look up "trenchless" people!! It had been over three years, but I called Apollo regarding fully connected pipes under my sink, no way to open the gooseneck for a clog. I was told the plumber that they sent no longer works for them. As if it was his problem and not theirs. They said since he is gone nothing they can do about it. Good thing is that he is gone. $800 for installing a drain in a kitchen sink that took less than an hour is too much. Look at your records Apollo, this is correct. Contacted Apollo Plumbing for a clogged main drain line. Was told on top of the $83 fee advertised on 106.9 radio there was also a $100 trip fee. Plumber came out and estimated the service at $650 to access the drain through the open toilet drop. Told him No Way. He called his Applo supervisor whom said they would discount by $25 provided that I didn't report on social media. Told him to leave my property. Went to Home Depot and rented their clean out machine for $69 to clean the line in 30 minutes time. read more
