The call center lady was nice and professional, made an appointment on the same day. Nolan came to my residence towards the end of the day. In order for him to inspect the leak he says he needed access and open up the drywall downstairs in the ceiling which he did for about $400. It is a hole size 12x6 inches. He says he sees the leak coming from the drainage so he retightned the drainage floor and called it for another $400. All in all I paid $780 for him to come out on the first day. We tried using the shower the next day, it leaked so much more and definitely worse than ever before. We called back right away waited another 2 days for him to show up just to hear that he needs another $780 switch out the tub spout which may or may not fix the issue. Or would go ahead and break the tiled walls to determine the issue and fix the problem permanently which would cost me lot more. Given the 2 options that were presented to me, it made me skeptical immediately. I understand it i s a business that they are running but upselling was its finest. All it was failed o-ring in my bathtub spout that shot back the water into the wall. I fixed it myself. It didn't even need ceiling wall opening and all the other fuss. I thought I was supporting a local business but turns out this place wants to print money and prey on people's emotions and lack of experience. There was no genuine attempt made to diagnose the issue. It was all about how much money I could get out of a small job. I m not sure how come this place has this decent of a Google and yelp reviews. We had a yard hydrant damage by a delivery truck and was told by the owner of the company to call Apollo . They came out and gave us a bid for $6400 and said to start they would need a 1/2 deposit which we gave them . The owner of the delivery truck said he would fix it himself ( which was fine be me ) We call Apollo to cancel the repair And cancel the check They deposited the check immediately and it has been almost a month since this incident We have not received a refund . Apollo quoted us $20,000 to switch out our current water heater for a tankless heater (yes, four 0's). For the unit alone, they quoted the cost as $11,000. We found the same unit typically sells for only around $2,000 online. For a regular gas hot water heater (same as we have currently), they quoted $4,200 for the unit alone (available from Ferguson for $776). This is not fair pricing. This is pricing that takes advantage of people who may not know better. Luckily, we do. We highly encourage everyone to do your research before choosing this company. read more

Before I could shop around they said they could begin the installation right away They installed everything correctly and I had hot water in an hour. I like that they can schedule appointments quickly, keep you posted on who is coming, and when they will arrive. Chris and Colin got the job done and left everything clean and in working order. Service was high quality but cost was very expensive. They charged roughly $600 for a toilet clog fix with auger, and then another $600 if they have to remove and reinstall the toilet as part of the work. So all in $1200 to address a toilet clog (kids hair clip had been dropped the toilet). The people were professional but their pricing is too expensive and not transparent. They refused to share pricing before they arrived even though I asked, which is why I'm sharing the info here. They intentionally won't share pricing until they arrive on site which is a $99 fee. It's part of their business strategy. This is the BMW of toilet repair, when a Toyota would do. read more

We had to pay $100 for them to come out to look under the house and proceed to tell us that we needed to have an entire re-pipe of our cast-iron system ($40,000!!!). Didn't even look at anything else, flushed the toilet a few times and ran the water to say everything inside looked pretty good. 3 other plumbing companies (that didn't charge us for an estimate) have been out that have told us our system looks fine and there are just a few much much much cheaper options to fix the little things going on. read more

And then quoted me almost $8000 for what should have been max a $3000 job. Absolute highway robbery - makes me wonder if they saw a single, older woman and decided to try to take advantage. I used another service who put in the exact same tank that Apollo told me they would use, and charged me $2500 (and fixed the dripping tap for free!!) for the job. Very Unhappy with the Bait and Switch Program. They came out to clean a drain with an initial price. When they arrived it was a different pipe so the pipe cleaning was increased dramatically. Then they couldn't get the pipe cleaned the way they were doing it and said we had to jet now instead of snake the line. Again another huge price increase. I refused and called another firm who had the work done in about 15 minutes for less money than they were charging for the snake job. No, it was not an "emergency" call. I even made an appointment, and the appointment was cancelled, and rescheduled. And I was flexible, and didn't call someone else. And still they charged me freakin $1500. Also they did NOT turn my water back on after leaving. And moved copper pipe in the crawl space, and after leaving, heard a loud metal twang of pipe dropping because they did a crap job of securing it. These guys should have their license revoked. After a nightmare encounter with a previous plumber, we decided to call Apollo. Zac came out saw the problem with the toilet and fixed it to the best of his ability until we eventually replace it. The bigger issue was we had a hose on the outside of house leaking since we moved in. The previous company we called out through our home warranty took some pictures and said it would take days to come back and fix. Never heard from the company four days later. Nobody could wait this long! Zac took care of it 30 minutes later. The minus star I have with this place is I was told some one would be here between 12-2pm and it was 2:45 when zac arrived. May not seem like a big deal, but when someone who works nights has to get up for can be quite annoying. read more

Quick! Call the COPS! I was robbed by Apollo Plumbing! I was notifed by city utilities I had a water main leak, between house and water meter. No obvious signs of a leak so I needed LEAK DETECTION services. They were quick to call me and make appointment for Leak Detection service ONLY. I was told date and time and that it cost $108 to come out. She never said what the cost was for the leak detection service...I assumed $108. Silly me. The $110 was for them to show up stand in my driveway and offer MEMBERSHIP services and monthly fees. Barely interested in my core issue. He asked if I wanted leak detection services without membership and I said yes...and he quoted me $1200.00 for the service. I then proceeded to get robbed of the $108 for showing up. I also took 2 hours off work. So I lost $325 in total. I asked what it would cost for trench-less water line replacement, less than 30 feet mind you. I was quoted nearly $22,000!!! They evaluated NOTHING. I completely understand the trades are pricey, rightfully so. But Appollo's smoke and mirrors and deception is despicable! I immediately got 2 more detection quotes from two smaller reputable companies. HALF the price at $660. STAY AWAY from Appollo. 1 star they showed up on time. read more

I hired Apollo Plumbing to fix a bathroom leak and a small sewage leak at my mother's house. They sent Ramiro M, who was pleasant, and eager to help with whatever plumbing concerns we had. When I asked if he had time to provide estimates for several separate issues he said, "I'll rebuild the whole house if you want!" He provided estimates for fixing the leak under the sink, the sewage leak, plus a water leak he found under the house. These three totaled around $4900. My mom, who is 86, does not have much money, and this represents about a third of her total savings, yet she wants to get things fixed, and fixed now. When he added estimates at our request for replacing the toilet ($1600), the bathroom sink faucet ($850), the shower cartridge ($1000) and the leaky hot water shutoff under the bathroom sink ($4000), I had to talk her out of agreeing to have everything done on the spot. At those prices her savings would essentially be gone. I had to leave before the work was done, so I paid him before I left. When I returned the following week I found that the underside of the bathroom sink was still leaking, albeit slowly. They sent Ramiro out again, and he said that he had replaced the sink stopper assembly, but it was the P trap which was leaking. He agreed to fix it at no charge, however, which was appreciated. He also said that if we went ahead with the $4000 repair of the hot water shutoff he would buy us a new sink faucet to install at no charge, as well as replace all the plumbing under the sink. In my experience, nothing screams overcharge like, "if you buy this, I'll throw in this, that and the other thing". So I told mom that I would try the plumber recommended by the ownership of her mobile home park. That's what I should have done to begin with. This company did not charge $99 to come out, but rather asked for emailed photos, and then provided written estimates in their emailed response, as well as a phone call. Their estimate for the shower cartridge was $405 (Apollo $1000) and $295 for the hot water shutoff leak. That's the one that Ramiro quoted $4000 to repair... with the generously included "free gifts". We hired them to do the work, and they completed it beautifully and on budget. I hadn't been aware that their estimate of $295 had also included replacing the cold water shutoff and replacing the hoses to the sink for both, but it did, and we could not have been happier with their work and the total charge of $773.50. I don't know what their charges would have been for the initial three repairs but, based on this comparison, I'm sure it would have been quite a bit less than $4900. So, if you want to pay much more than necessary, hire Apollo Plumbing. But if you want to save significant money, do your research like I should have done. But to be fair to Ramiro, he had a guide book which laid out the pricing for all repairs. He said it was to prevent their plumbers from coming up with their own prices. And it seems like the pricing is set high enough to ensure that the estimate will not be exceeded, no matter what difficulties the plumber encounters. But $4000 compared to $300 is nothing less than an outrage. read more

Ben came over and solved a mystery clog deep down in the main drain. He snaked it thoroughly until multiple obstructions were cleared. I called Apollo on a Saturday and they got me someone right away. I appreciate Ben's experience. He was courteous and very communicative about the work. I've used Apollo several times and like the fact that they have a powerful snake machine and camera if necessary. They were on time and went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy customer. Absolutely terrible! I had an appointment scheduled with them for two weeks. They called hours before to reschedule from Tuesday to Friday. Friday comes, just again a few hours from my appointment, they call and cancel saying that we are outside of their service area! They had my address the entire time and rescheduled day of, then canceled their rescheduled appointment! Then she had the gall to say check the BBB website for a company in your area! Clearly you told me YOU SERVICED my area if you booked and even rescheduled my appointment! Be warned if you book with them, be prepared to have your appointment canceled underneath your feet after taking off work. 0 stars if I was able to give! Absolutely terrible service! read more

I would never do business with them again. Henry was a go getter salesman, refusing to address the problem, he was asked to use a snake, camera or jetter to verify our drain was clogged. After a wicked cold snap we got hit with a huge water bill. Some quick trouble shooting and I isolated the line from the meter to the crawl space to be the point of the leak. I even dug up the meter box and our irrigation box to verify the tie in's were not the source of the leak. Called Apollo plumbing and they came out to give a $7,700 bid to replace 30ft of line at $175 per foot and an additional $1,100 for a vac truck. That was the first red flag. The dude tells me inside my house that its $155 per foot and then writes up a bid at $175 per foot. Either way I call my insurance, start a home owners claim, send in my water bill, increased usage, and weather reports that coincided with the cold snap. Insurance contacted Apollo plumbing to verify the cracked pipe could be related to the cold snap we had. That's when the technician Josh states to the insurance company that the cold weather in no way could have affected the pipe breaking. Any idiot with half a brain can tell you that cold weather causes expansion and contraction of foundations and the earth, which led to the pipe breaking. So now my insurance denied the claim. My piece of advice is not to let these clowns near your house or property. Keep them as far away as possible. read more
