AirPro's originally installed a new heat pump and furnace for me almost 10 years ago. In that time, my heat pump stopped working so I called around and chose another HVAC company to come fix it since they were the fastest to respond. It turns out that they were also very expensive, so I reached out to AirPro's again to see if they could come check it out. Unfortunately, I didn't submit the warranty registration almost 10 years ago for my Lennox heat pump so I had to pay out of pocket for the replacement (Tip: submit your warranty paperwork otherwise you'll pay out of pocket for any repairs, even under the warranty period)! However, the guys at AirPro's were able to confirm the issue and ordered and installed a replacement part for half of what another HVAC place wanted. They were also able to install the new part and service my furnace and heat pump in a little over an hour since they had two guys working on it. Everyone I have dealt with at AirPro's throughout the years have been courteous and explained everything in detail. I've also never had them try to sell me on something I didn't need. The bottom-line is that AirPro's is still my preferred HVAC company after 10 years of working with them. They're quick, efficient and cost-effective. I wrote a favorable review of AirPros in January of 2013, when my Lennox furnace was installed. This morning, we woke up to a frigid house and no heat. I called AirPros as soon as they opened, and Mark said someone will be out this afternoon. These kinds of "verbals" make me nervous, as we've all had "empty promises" about service calls, but I trusted in them. They aren't Comcast after all. Sure enough, shortly after Noon Jerry knocked on the door and was professional and super-friendly. I was very pleased. He quickly diagnosed a faulty circuit board, and went to Lynnwood to grab a new one. Thirty minutes later he was back, and was smart enough to have grabbed extra parts in case his diagnosis proved incorrect. Sure enough, it was not the circuit board but the gas valve. Regardless, Jerry had wisely anticipated the potentiality, and got an extra valve when at the warehouse. Nice!! By 2:10 pm, we had heat again, the cost of parts were covered by warranty, and wife happy. I paid for a service call and an hour of labor, which was generous considering Jerry spent more time than that, including transit. He gave me a 10% loyalty discount - love these guys! In 2024 when the machine fails, I'm pretty sure I'll be calling AirPros again, and blogging about another happy experience! The risk I run is that more people discover them, and erode the prompt and friendly service. But they've earned my faith, so it's on them to prove that they can handle the success that is likely coming their way! read more

Marks company babied the old furnace along for a couple years then when the time came he was 2K cheaper than the guy up the street from us, Mark gave us what we needed the guy up the street needed to make a boat payment apparently. J & D (the crew) showed up exactly on time and went straight to the work which was completed in half the time I expected. I used to be a construction superintendent and I would know good workers when I see them. They made friends with our dogs (one is a known killer breed) and I think he (the red one) still misses them today weeks later, be wary of people your dogs don't like. Found this company on Angie's List with a deal on AC units. Called and spoke to Mark who told me my house doesn't qualify for the deal (not sure why if the unit is the same regardless of the house size). Anyhow, Mark to came out to see if our house and gave me a much higher estimate than the deal advertised on Angie's list. I shopped around and got a cheaper estimate from Bob's heating in Redmond but they couldn't install until July. Called Mark back and had him drop the price significantly to match Bob's and scheduled the install in a week. Two days before the install, I called Mark to confirm the install day/time and he confirm. I called him a few minutes later again to tell him that I needed to upgrade the AC unit to a different model because the model he recommended had bad reviews online (recalled coil and too noisy), I left him a message and per online pricing that unit was $300 more so I was okay with the difference. On installation day, no one showed up until 9:30, so I called Mark to see what's going on. He told me that the crew was on its way but stuck in traffic. I asked him to confirm the unit model to make sure I get he quitter one, he said no. he never got my message because he gets his voicemails via text and he already picked up the cheaper unit knowing that it was too noisy and it's builder grade. He then said he can have one of his team members go down to the warehouse and get the other unit, but it will cost me an additional $860. I told him that I did my research and it's much cheaper than 860 and that I could meet him in the middle but wasn't ready to jack up the price so much. He kept telling me that he needs to make money and that's the cost of doing business....etc. At the end, we didn't agree on a fair price to make it happen, so he called it off. My guess is that he forgot about the install and when I called him he jacked up the price to avoid changing his schedule. Wish we could've worked something out but his goal was to be a couple of hundred bucks under Bob's heating vs. quoating a fair price and focusing on the customer needs. read more

Found a deal for A/C install on Angie's List and Mark came out to see if our house qualified which it did. The price was very competitive and good timing in the hot summer of 2015. The guys showed up on time and had the system installed after about 8 hours. The only negative was they said I needed a different thermostat and it would be about $300 more. Not too happy about that and I felt Mark should have checked the thermostat during his estimate visit. My 40-year-old electric Lennox furnace started acting up in the weeks prior to Christmas. At first it would make odd noises once in a while, which I ignored, but it steadily got worse until it couldn't be ignored any longer. Mark came and took a look at it and said the motor was on the way out. He called Lennox but they did not have a replacement motor available. I was not looking forward to spending $2,000+ to have a new furnace installed -- but in the meantime, my furnace was on its last legs and not giving me all that much heat (just in time for the freeze around Christmas!) I guess I can't really complain since I got 40 years of use, but still.... Anyway, he and Richie looked around and found another brand of motor that would work and came out and installed it -- all for less than 1/4 the price of a new furnace. On August 25th 2020, I contacted AirPros to come to my Condo to evaluate what the issue with my Air Condition Unit as it is blowing air, just not cold air and the thermostat reads 82 degrees. The technician showed up 2 hours after our scheduled appointment 4hour window. He then went to the AC Handler, took a few pictures, went to the compressor and fiddle with something, then came back and said that it was the motor that failed. I wrote a check for the $69 evaluation fee and gave it to Johnny the technician. He walked outside, made a phone call then returned with the check and said that the company could replace the motor with a new one for $1250.00 --- I told them I did not have that type of money on hand and I would prefer to not have it repaired then. Johnny contacted his manager, whom then went on to tell me that by Florida Law "they could not leave me without working AC and they wold accept whatever I could salvage together tonight and pay the rest of the balance later. I then proceeded to give Johnny $300 cash -- He insisted that he would switch the motor and have the air working before he left tonight. 1 hour and $300 later, motor installed - Johnny says it will take a few hours to cool down as he lowered the pressure to the unit. A few hours go by an the house is still extremely hot. The next day I fly out to DC and return on the 3rd of September. AC is still not working -- It is still blowing hot air. I contact AirPros once again and they said they would sent out another tech tomorrow. On Spet 4th, Jean the AirPro Tech shows up and goes to the air handler takes a picture, goes outside and does the same. 15 minutes later he tells me that the Electric is the problem and that I would need to get someone else to fix that as he is no electrician. I contacted a manager there, Yvonne, and explain my situation. she tells me that AirPro outsoucrces so she wouldn't know which company actually serviced me the week before and would need to get back to me. At this point I am even more skeptical that I am getting ripped off. I then ask for the $300 I paid in cash, with no invoice, and they can place my old motor back in and I would get another company. Yvonne said that would not be an issue as the techs keep the old motors. Jean left 2 hours after and I still do not have a woking AC, im out of $300 cash and still no working AC. Taylor the manager, then contacts me and lets me know that he will be sending out his best supervisor to handle the high voltage electric problem that Jean was not qualified to handle and that I can expect the tech to be there between 8-11am. At 11:52pm this morning another manager contacts me to let me know that they would not make the 8-11am appointment so I rescheduled for 3-6p. Johnny shows up again apologizing for it not working and says the same thing Taylor the manager says. If I pay the remaining $950 all will be fixed and all will be well. After a few more walking around and secretive phone calls the tech then says that he doesnt have the part to get it repaired today and will need to reschedule --- I asked back for my initial $300 and my old motor. Now I am being told that they scrapped my motor, I have a nonworking AC, out of $300, owe $950, johnny left my breaker panel uncovered and with one of the fuses hanging out. All because I decided I did not want to use their manipulating and deceiving company any further. This is beyond unacceptable as this is now putting Fire and Electric Violations. I will be further contacting The Better Business Bureau, The City of Davie, The County of Broward and will be proceeding to file a civil suit against this unprofessional and money hungry company. Do not trust TAYLOR, YVONNE, JOHNNY, JEAN, DUSTIN -- as they are all in on the scam on taking middle class workers money during a global pandemic and economic crisis. I was looking to replace a electric furnace and got over ten bids. They varied between gas and heat pump. Airpros was the most competitive with both bids. Mark came out both times and he clearly explained everything to me. He gave me his recommendations and was very responsive whenever I had questions. When the time came, I ordered a 98% efficiency gas furnace, PureAir filter, iComfort, and a Navien 210 OnDemand water heater. Mark and his team came out and got everything working in two days. It's been three months now and my wife's allergy attacks are gone thanks to the PureAir. My October energy bill is down by 50% and the house is always comfortable in winter. We can set the thermostat with our phone. People complain about the OnDemand water taking too long to heat up and I saw no timing difference between hot water coming from the tank versus onDemand. In terms of support, Airpros answered the phone right away and helped me troubleshoot the lack of heat in my house. Mark remembered our system pretty quickly and within a few minutes, he knew we had a earthquake shutoff and told me to check it... bingo!!! I have 5 bids from 5 companies for replacing my old furnace and adding a air conditioner unit to the house. The first was from a company that gave me a 80% efficiency furnace and a 13 SEER air, for more that AirPros Engergy that gave me a 95% efficiency and a better than 14 SEER air for less than the first guy. They even beat the Lennox guy with Costco rebate of $900 dollars, they got the job done in one day which is great, because I don't have any more vacation time to take from work. Mark installed an air conditioning unit for me last year and it beat everybody else's bid by far. He worked with me on the install placement and even moved the drain pipe after my wife told him she didn't like the way it looked :) A year after the install my unit wasn't cooling properly and Mark sent out his service technician the same day to get it running in tip top shape. We are planning a major kitchen upgrade this Dec/Jan (2014-15). Last march we purchased a new Gas range from Albert Lee at their semi-annual sale and have since been storing the range in our mudroom. Our home has a natural gas furnace from which we need to have the gas line extended to the where the electric stove currently sits. You should know that I am not a person who's first choices is to shop for the cheapest deal. #1 when you accept the cheapest deal you often get what you pay for. Myself (currently retired) and having owned a very successful Computer IT business I knew, first hand, what I needed to get when I made a bid. If I was faced with someone who was more interested in price than quality of work I would quickly end the conversation and suggest they call Geek Squad. The lesson for me when retaining any kind of service contractor has been it never felt right to shop multiple places just to attain the best price. The real world rule of thumb for service contractors is "if they are at the bottom of their industry's price range they are into doing volume first and quality is probably going to fall secondary, if not, very last in a lot of cases. The cheapest person is usually the highest risk for things not having an outcome that you like. As for my gas line installation my object was to find the person with whom had the right credentials, takes prides in their work, uses quality components, and stands behind what they do. I did interview two other candidates before I landed on AirPro. During those initial interviews it would be about their process, the materials they chose and why, how many hours they expected it to take, and how invasive the process would be. The cost was always my last question. My first interview was with a well know local HVAC company with whom I have been doing business with (I am on an annual contact with them to inspect & repair my furnace). These guys are certainly good at what they do but after several years of dealing with them their aggressive marketing did not sit well with me. They tried sell me a new component for my furnace 2nd time in two years. The original component was 11 years old when they first said it needed to be replaced ($290). Know that this component was not dead. Their decision was made by measuring its resistance and saying it may soon go bad. I told the service person that one or two nights without heat is not the end of the world and I said I'm going to wait until it fails. They gave me a bid for the gas line installation which ranged from $600-$1200. This was in the ballpark for me but their previous manner of marketing didn't sit well so I chose to sit on the estimate. The 2nd candidate: I found a small one man HVAC guy with good credentials. He came by, looked the situation over and give an estimate. He was all over the map concerning what he had to go through in order to get it done. He quoted upwards of $1000. However, my gut feeling was that the job may be a little over his head. About 1 month later I happen to drop in on a friend at his home and he happen to have AirPro at his house extending a gas line to his new gas range. I grabbed AirPro's phone number and when I got home did some Internet research on their credentials and looked through their reviews. What I saw fit the bill except I wasn't sure about the way everyone said they were the least expensive. The next day I called my friend up and he gave them rave review (I need to tell you, when it comes to dealing with service contactors my friend is not easy). I called AirPro and they gave me an appointment to come by. What I didn't realize was they were coming by to do the job and I was expecting to have a conversation first and then approve the job. They reviewed my premises and said this looks like an easy in-and-out and should be done in a few/3 hours. I like their confidence and could easily see they have installed more gas lines than I could count. As for price they do not charge by the hour. They charge by the length of the line (my job was 25 feet long). Their rates go like this "the first 10 feet for $350, then $15/ft thereafter. Any unforeseen problems encountered would be on them. Not including the time it took for them to leave to have to go pick up an extended length of flexible gas line they were done in less than 3.5 hours. My bill was $629.63 (including tax). Know that they had to open up 3 small holes in the basement drywall of which I requested that they try to do the cuts in square shapes (as to be more easily repaired). They did an excellent job. Two weeks later (before I cut, fit, and closed the drywall holes) I mixed my own soap & water and rechecked all the connections for leaks (all seems to be well). I am a very happy customer and in going against my own "rule of thumb" I have to say that they were definitely the least expensive. They don't know it yet but I am going to be a regular customer. My gas furnace went out Christmas night and the next morning when I couldn't get warm, I called my Realtor since I just moved in August 2016 in this 4 year old home. David came out and took the cover off and said, " the motor has burned out, and I can smell it." He did the I inspection I August. He called the YORK manufacturer and was told the motor is on Backload, and they did t know when he could get one. Meanwhile the temps were getting colder inside. The next day I called the Home Warranty service, that my Realtor bought for me on closing. They said they would have someone out the next morning, the day I was flying out to AZ. A guy from Alpha Cooler came out and said it needed to be cleaned! It started up right away. By that time it was 41 degrees outside, and 51 degrees inside!!! Another cold night in a cold house! I am wondering why AirPro didn't clean it in August for their inspection when I bought the home? And why he couldn't see that it needed cleaning instead of saying I needed a new motor? They did a great job on the installation, very timely and professional. I've also called them for service work and they worked to fit me into their schedule even though the furnace is located in Skykomish, WA (40+ miles east of Seattle). They originally scheduled the work between 1 and 4 and then on the day of the work called prior to let me know the actual time they'd arrive. Ending up going with AirPros Energy because they were able to complete the job in the time I wanted it finished and because Mark was a laid-back straight shooter. He was upfront about the realities (and costs) of the project and when his team finished the work I was quite impressed what they were able to achieve given the challenges they faced.
