We called JRC and Ron had us send him a couple of photos. He immediately diagnosed the issue and suggested a replacement tank. Next day service and he was in and out in just a couple of hours. His work was impeccable. Besides the heater itself, Ron installed a new stand, earthquake straps, and new supply lines (water and gas). JRC only works with water heaters. Ron is truly an expert. I thought about doing this myself but with varying dimensions of the old vs new water heater, I knew I would probably end up having to modify the length of the gas and supply lines and exhaust vent. I feel so much better having had a pro do all of that! He hauled away the old heater and cleaned up the area completely. Nothing but positive marks for Ron and JRC!

We had a water heater failure situation on Friday evening and water keeps leaking so we certainly need a new one installed. Under the bad leaking we had to turn off the water of the whole house leaving us no hot nor cold water. Called around from 9am Saturday trying to find someone available but no one is picking up the call. I know it's pretty common when looking for a professional but it is still super frustration and stressful. A friend highly recommended Ron from JRC so I gave him a call, and it immediately went through! Miracle!!! Ron asked me to text several photos of my current water heater situation, and decided to come rescuing us the next day, which is Sunday! By Sunday afternoon I have a brand new high quality water heater installed for a very reasonable price. The whole scheduling experience was very smooth. I bought a new home(new to me) and on the third night my pipes clogged. I went down into crawl…read morespace and could feel all my waste pipes full until it goes down into the ground and septic. I called multiple places and non of them answered except Mr. Rooter. I had Mr. Rooter come out the next day since it was 9pm when this happened. Mark came out and unclogged it and notice the inlet baffle to my septic was loose and had a permanent tilt upwards. Mark pointed out he saw a glob of cooking grease come out when unclogging it. He also pointed out a sheen of oil mixed in with the solids. So the previous owners were just dumping whatever down the drain. Mark scheduled me for the Field coordinator come out the next day to camera the pipes (no extra charge to camera the pipes). Vinnie showed up with the camera and found that the pipe between my clean out and septic was bowing down for for about two feet long(I was there and saw it on camera as he did it) So there was standing water filling up the pipe half way and slowing the solids down where it was easy to clog up. Vinnie was very nice and professional and explaining what they needed to do to fix it. He gave me an estimate to fix it and encouraged me to get another estimate from another company and that if they beat Mr. Rooters estimate let them know and they'll try match. I did get another estimate and it was a little bit lower but they didn't have the 2 year labor warranty or 2 part warranty, like Mr. Rooter. So I called Vinnie back and sent him the estimate from another company and they matched their estimate. I didn't get the name of the plumber that came out and dug the hole and fixed the pipe but I got to talk to him and he notice pipe was cracked and broke when he uncovered it. He also notice when they built the house in 2006 they never put crushed rock under/around the waste pipe to keep it from settling(is what had happened to the pipe and made it bow downwards). So he replace the pipe and put crushed rock around it. When he dug the hole, he put plastic down on the grass then put the dirt he was digging out, on the plastic. So when he fixed the pipe, he covered all the dirt up and the hole up with more plastic and put caution cones and fence around it all. We had to wait couple days for the inspector come out and make sure everything was installed correctly(Mr. Rooter dealt with the inspector and it was part of the estimate they gave me). Couple days later I notice the hole filled back in and everything cleaned up. This was back in November when all this happened and it's end of December and no clogs. Thank you employees of Mr. Rooter, they were nice, professional and explained everything. Side note for people reading, DO NOT USE AQUA TEST for any septic or plumbing. (MVL INC DBA Aqua Test Inc) located in Maple Valley. Our HOA has them do a yearly inspection and it turns out they were reporting that there was this same problem with the septic from 2007-2013. After 2013 they stopped reporting it. The person I bought the house from has lived in it from 2006 - - 2021. It was never fixed by the previous owner, she doesn't deny not fixing it or couldn't provide any receipt. But since Aqua test for some reason stopped reporting it and our realtors didn't put an addendum 22S in our house buying contract, we got hosed and had to pay for this out of our pockets. Again don't use Aqua test in maple valley.

He spoke with my insurance, the HOA insurance and helped answer my question s as he went forward. All damage was well documented. Unfortunately he found a second sewage over flow but with quick work damage was limited & cleanup began immediately, again he was in close co ntact with my HOA who sent a plumber back out and finally addressed the issues. In order for him to inspect the leak he says he needed access and open up the drywall downstairs in the ceiling which he did for about $400. It is a hole size 12x6 inches. He says he sees the leak coming from the drainage so he retightned the drainage floor and called it for another $400. All in all I paid $780 for him to come out on the first day. We tried using the shower the next day, it leaked so much more and definitely worse than ever before. We called back right away waited another 2 days for him to show up just to hear that he needs another $780 switch out the tub spout which may or may not fix the issue. Or would go ahead and break the tiled walls to determine the issue and fix the problem permanently which would cost me lot more. Given the 2 options that were presented to me, it made me skeptical immediately. I understand it i s a business that they are running but upselling was its finest. All it was failed o-ring in my bathtub spout that shot back the water into the wall. I fixed it myself. It didn't even need ceiling wall opening and all the other fuss. I thought I was supporting a local business but turns out this place wants to print money and prey on people's emotions and lack of experience. There was no genuine attempt made to diagnose the issue. It was all about how much money I could get out of a small job. I m not sure how come this place has this decent of a Google and yelp reviews. I would not trust these guys. BEWARE!!! SAVE YOURSELVES MONEY AND ENERGY.
