We got takeout and it was ok. The things I was disappointed with: I ordered a salad with ranch and was disappointed they offer Ken's packets; the flavor is bad, I was hoping for local- made dressing. I tried the cheesesteak fries and was disappointed with the flavor or the meat, don't think I would order again. The others I ate with did enjoy the hoagies and the tuna salad sandwich. read more

Mike's Pizza Shoppe - 2 Slices and a drink combo - Pizza Near Me - West Chester, Pennsylvania

My family has been ordering from Mike's Pizza for years and we've always enjoyed it. Recently, I placed an order for delivery through DoorDash, but unfortunately, the driver got lost and never delivered my order, even though I received a notification saying it had been dropped off. I called and spoke with Marcel, the owner of Mike's Pizza, who immediately remade my order at no cost. I offered to split the cost, but he refused. This is what true customer service looks like. Marcel didn't question or hassle me--he just took care of the situation. I had guests over, and we all agreed that the food was delicious! Thank you, Marcel! read more

I walked in with a group of 13 people on a Wednesday night at 8:55pm (it looked like they were trying to close but they said they would take orders until 9pm). Right off the bat the man behind the counter was super friendly, asking if we had come from Bates Motel (we had). We were the only people in the restaurant at that time and our service was very fast. We ordered a large plain pizza, some fries, and a calzone. The pizza was great and fries were fresh and crispy. The guys working were so sweet and accommodating, and very personable - Joey and Zad in particular were very helpful and told us a little bit about the history of the restaurant - how Joey's parents had immigrated from Lebanon and opened up this shop back in the 90s and the sons bought it. I love family-owned businesses and this one now has a special place in my heart! Can't wait to go back and practice my Arabic ... inshallah that will be very soon ;-) read more

If I lived by Mike's I could see this being my pizza place. I got the special cheesesteak on Garlic Bread. The extras added a lot of flavor and moisture to this cheesesteak. Garlic bread could have been a little more garlicy. The pizza and other food smelled delicious. The people were very nice and moved a lot of food. But sorry, I wouldn't drive far for this cheesesteak. read more

My poker guys meet on Thursday night and it was my turn to host. We take a 15 minute break at 9 to dine. That morning, I stopped in at Mike's and spoke with Joe where I had a great cheesesteak lunch before. I told Joe my needs and budget and he put wrote down my deferred order for 8:25. The pizzas, wings and Stromboli were perfect, hot and tasty. We voted to extend our night for 10 more minutes so we could eat for 25 minutes. The next morning, I stopped in and thanked Marcel. Mike, you have 2 wonderful sons - be proud! read more

Swung past mike's tonight to grab a pizza for my granddaughter and me. First and foremost. Congratulations on the new addition to the Mike's Pizza shoppe Family! A New Year's Eve gift of a baby girl! It was so wonderful talking to the owner(?) and staff there! So welcoming and friendly! And as for my pizza? DELICIOUS! A nice thin, crispy crust with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese and seasonings! Well done Mike's, well done as always, we will be back! read more

Mike's Pizza Shoppe - Large cheese pizza - Pizza Near Me - West Chester, Pennsylvania

Lousy pizza. Nothing more than a slab of dough covered over by canned sauce then topped with the cheapest cheese. Like everything else all food is cooked at a fast careless pace. Recently changed the meat in the steak sandwiches to a tasteless lump of meat. Once new competition arrives then there will be a better place. Tried it a few times but not again. read more

Great food at a great price. Service was awesome. We had pizza and subs both times we stopped in.

Not crazy about the pizza to begin with. But tonight we ordered a chicken finger platter with fries, a cheesesteak with fried onions and sweet peppers, and an order of cheese fries. It was placed in person so we waited for it. What we got: Chicken fingers with no fries, we did get charged for BBQ sauce yet no BBQ sauce in the bag. A cheesesteak with fried onions and RELISH instead of sweet peppers and what I think might've been provolone cheese I think and what I think might've been mustard????. And cheese fries were mozzarella fries, maybe that's how all their cheese fries are but wasn't expecting that either. Didn't think it was a tough order and it's alway busy on a Friday but it was an uncanny amount of mistakes for a simple order it seemed. Any consolation, the mozzarella fries were decent as were the chicken fingers read more

The fries weren't crispy nor had the amount of toppings I would expect to receive. The pizza a decent

We generally do not eat in this restaurant so I can't say much about the service however we get takeout about once a week and it is absolutely delicious!! My husband is such a pizza snob and Mikes always delivers hot, fresh, amazing food!! If you're in the area and are feeling the urge for pizza I certainly suggest this place. Please be advised sometimes it takes a little while to get your food but it'll be worth the wait! read more

I've tried the wings, pizza, and cheesesteaks. All are great, and highly recommend. Staff is super nice and courteous. The only reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because their prices are high imo. read more

This place cannot even make a chicken cheesesteak and cheese fries with out getting it wrong 22 dollars for that food then manager says he will bring food to replace then calls back and says he wants to refund fries just very unprofessional and jumbo pizza down street is much cheaper n better food. read more

Most consistent pizza that can be delivered in the area, we love the upside pie. My only wish was that the appetizer menu was a little more robust, maybe some cheesesteak eggrolls or fried raviolis? read more

Quick and delicious, the dough is wonderful and when you ask for extra sauce/toppings, they don't skimp or drown you with sauce.

My observations on the cheese steak with fried onions and mushrooms Roll: Excellent Meat: excellent, not chopped too small and good brown on it. Portion of meet was just right not overly packed Cheese: American. Right amount Onions: cooked enough just to carmakize. No raw ones. Mushrooms: sautéed perfectly. Seasoning: balanced and flavorful. A top performing and tasting cheeses steak experience!! read more

Absolutely the best pizza and cheesesteaks in Newtown Square. We are new to the area and live right down the road. Always friendly customer service and hot fresh food. 10/10, 5 stars, always! Never a bad experience. Please don't stop doing what you're doing. read more

Always a great experience here. Great staff, great owners. It's always busy and the foods always fresh. I love their cheesesteaks

By far my favorite cheese steak I have ever had. I have had pretty much every single cheesesteak in philadelphia and I still come home for this one whenever I can. Its a perfect combo of steak and cheese, but most importantly, its the best roll I have tried. I also put the pizza on the tops of my chart. I typicaly prefer a very thin and crispy crust, but something about the sauce and the light fluffy yet crispy dough really works. Their large pies are better than the slice pies, not sure why! Nata and her family have been running this place since I can remember and I will always remain faithful! They are the best around and worth going to! They get packed on friday and sat nights so make sure you call ahead! read more

This place is my favorite spot to order lunch from!! Everything I have gotten from here has been amazing. Their veggie cheese steak is my favorite! Everyone who works here is so nice and accommodating as well. I highly recommend! read more

I am a stickler for good pizza, and given the competition out there you have to be great! Had a slice at Mikes the other night and was not blown away. The crust was good, but not quite thin enough. The sauce was sweet - a plus. There was a decent amount of cheese and a generous amount of toppings, but the slices were so small! I like either a real Chicago deep dish or a real New York slice that you have to fold in half - and you won't find either here! Mikes is good for the family, with lots of booth seating, a kid friendly menu, relatively low prices (A large plain is only $10) and a casual atmosphere, but their pizza won't keep me coming back! read more

We were hungry and cruising the Giant supermarket aisles for some items when I stopped and looked at the frozen pizza section. My lady suggested we get a fresh, hot pie to go from Mikes located about five doors down. It made sense so I called and ordered a small pie to go - half cheese, half pepperoni. The pie wasn't ready when I arrived early so I spent some time talking politics with the bright young lady behind the counter. Certainly, I have never seen a Presidential campaign like this one! We got the pie home and dug in. While this is your typical Delco pizza pie, it tasted better than many in the area. The crust wasn't thin and crispy like I like - I'm a NY style, thin crust zealot with fresh Tomatoe sauce that's not sweet and mozzarella cheese. Still, it hit the spot. It isn't Ravenessi - the best pizza in Delco - but it blows others the out of the water. Plus, if you get the young lady at the counter waiting on you, you can talk politics while you wait for your pie. read more

Highly recommend the cheesesteaks and the pizza steaks. They make the pizza steaks with provolone cheese but I recommend you ask him to use mozzarella instead. I also highly recommend their white pizza topped with diced tomato. The only thing that stops me me from giving them five stars is their annoying practice of not giving you your check at the table to look over or letting you pay the waitress. You never actually get to see your check, you have to stand in line at the cash register, tell them what you had and then they tell you what you owe. I have no idea why they will not let the waitress give you your check, it's very odd way of doing things and it cost them a star. read more

Everything about Mike's Pizza Shoppe is as average and forgettable as their name implies.

Great pizza. Good flavor and loved the crust. Would definitely order again! I also got the garden salad, which was a nice addition.

We just moved to this area and we probably order delivery from here at least once a week. Hot and delicious foo always. And generally always arrives within stated deliver time or earlier. read more

On the advice of a coworker who praised the crisp crust at Mike's (Route 3 Eastbound side, near Rt. 352, in Westtown PA), I decided to stop in for a slice en route to Pete's Produce on Rt. 926. I was greeted by an earnest counter girl but I was disappointed to learn that the only slices available were plain. I ordered one and a root beer, and both arrived swiftly. To their credit, the slice came piping hot and I needed to let it cool. It looked quite conventional, and had a generous amount of standard mozzarella on it. This was a decent slice of pizza. Nothing distinguished the cheese or sauce, and indeed I added both salt and red pepper to spice it up. The crust seemed to be made of the same source that 99% of pizza joints use, but instead of the soft floppy stuff served up in most places, this had a very satisfying crispness. They call it "Neapolitan" and it surely is not, but it's decent pie nonetheless. The slice cost just $1.85; with a soda and tax, I laid out $3.71. Pretty decent budget lunch. The counter girl doubled as server and checked twice to see if I needed anything, and the friendly pizzaiolo asked me if I liked it as I was exiting.Bottom line? Value pie, where oridnary ingredients are raised up a bit by superior technique and friendly staff. Mike earns 6 stars of 10 for his slice. I am Pizza Quixote! read more

Ordered from here last night and have in the past as well. We got a large Hawaiian and Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Was very impressed, both pizzas were excellent. Good taste, good ingredients, and cooked perfectly. Only have 2 complaints, that keep it from getting 5 stars. Buffalo Chicken Pizza needed more buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing, was a little dry, but still good. Second complaint is price, their pizza is quite pricey. A large buffalo chicken was $20! $20 for one pizza, that needed some extra sauce is a little bit too expensive imo. It was $39 for the 2 pizzas, which fed 4 big guys fairly well, but definently could of been cheaper. read more
