I opted for the first to clean up the bugs guts that did a number on my windshield during a drive to and from Grand Rapids earlier in the week. For $12 I did the top level drive thru wash. It did a pretty good job and my car was nice and clean for the most part. The only complaint? It didn't do a very good job of cleaning the windshield that needed the most love. I'll have to go back and do it manually to get it completely cleaned off. So for a basic "my car is a little dirty and I want to get it clean" job this place does a good job. For more tough stuff it may not hurt to either go to the manual section or be prepared to some touch-ups after.

Mine came out about as dirty as they went in: brake dust still caked on, grime in the spokes. If clean wheels matter to you, plan on scrubbing them yourself afterward. Oh and this location also has an automatic car wash. *I actually worked here a decade ago and then the customer service level was top notch. I knew everyone's name. I'm happy to see that the staff is still friendly and still calls everyone by name. All the locations get "secret shopped" so they know better when an itch comes along to be rude. And they also try to beat pricing (even if it's only a few cents) by neighboring stores. With all that....your best bet for almost anything will have to be Mugg & Bopps! It's actually also a chain, but don't worry....family owned and they stick to small towns and villages to keep that special charm. I had passed Washtenaw Auto Wash recently and figured I would roll on by when my car needed some extra TLC. After a long road trip (300+ miles in one morning -- love my little hatchback!) I decided to go the extra mile to Washtenaw and get the grime off my my ride. I passed by several industrial-strength vacuums as I approached the entry to the wash. They're 50 cents apiece, but I'll have to try them on my next go-around as I didn't have change today. I pulled up to the wash and saw -- CASH ONLY. It's written in caps, and I'll do the same so you know to have some greenbacks with you when you come. For just $5 I had two guys make sure to de-bug my front grill and get the tar off of the bottom of my bumpers. I then relaxed while my car whooshed down the conveyor belt and got sudsy and clean. Overall, a great price and a solid wash. The need for cash is a little inconvenient, and I didn't see that this place is open 24/7, but despite the minor inconveniences, I'll be back!
