I use them for different properties that I manage. I can easily reach them by phone, and I like that there's always a real person I can speak with. If they're not in the office or are busy, I usually email them. They accommodate all of my requests and are easy to communicate with when scheduling service. They have never missed an appointment. One time, the technician who usually works on my property was unavailable, and they called me to ask if I wanted to reschedule or have someone else come instead. I'm usually there when they're working, and they're very realistic when answering questions. They're not magicians, and of course, no one can control nature. They do what's necessary without harming the ecosystem. I recommend them, and I also suggest taking the time to give feedback to the people working on your property if there's anything specific you need. read more

I encourage anyone considering pest remediation to compare the reviews carefully; they speak for themselves. I also noticed Mighty Men appears to have multiple websites and listings that all direct back to the same person, which raised additional concerns for me. I had a very disappointing experience with Mighty Men Pest Remediation. Maria, the owner, came across as rude, arrogant, and unwilling to listen. She acted like she knew everything and didn't give me a chance to speak or ask questions. She attempted to convince me that there were bats on my property, which was alarming. However, even her own inspector acknowledged that the marks on the wall were from squirrels -- not bats. That inconsistency was concerning. I'm simply going to state what I paid and the service I received. $450 dollars to drop off a cage with extra "bait" (fruit loops and marshmallows.) Playing raccoon baby sounds to see if there was a response. Picking up the empty cage. I prepaid for things that may or may not be needed. I am highly dissatisfied with Mighty Men and would not recommend them. The customer service is extremely poor, starting with the front desk. Maria, in particular, has been unreliable--she talks over you and accuses customers of not following up, when in reality she is the one who fails to follow through. I hired Mighty Men for a rodent issue and agreed to move forward with sealing all entry points in my attic. When the technicians came out, they not only missed several entry points but also punctured two holes in my ceiling during the process. Following up to get the damage repaired and the missed areas addressed was a long and frustrating process. After I explained that multiple entry points were still open, Maria sent another technician who only sealed one. I was then told that in order to seal any additional holes, I would need to pay for another inspection and additional work--despite already paying for the original service. That is unacceptable and should have been included in the initial quote. Maria also promised a complimentary rodent check to make up for the inconvenience, but I have yet to hear back from her. This business used to be reliable but the last two technicians they sent out only did the front of the house. I have them on Ring camera leaving! When I called to complain this last time I was told my daughter had let them in to do the back sides of the house. My daughters live 22 and 28 miles away and are busy with their jobs during the day. I would not recommend Mighty Men due to their technician's negligence and their lack of accountability. Mighty Men Pest Control did some pest remediation for our home back in 2022. Recently, we discovered that their technicians took the exhaust pipe off our furnace to seal a potential rodent entry way and then reinstalled the exhaust pipe inappropriately. This is a dangerous oversight and when I called and emailed to report this negligence to Mighty Men and I never heard back from management. We had another issue where the Mighty Men technicians smushed in our air ducts, which we had to fix before getting new attic insulation. When I reported this issue, I also never received acknowledgement from Mighty Men. read more

I found Mighty Men through a referral from Alley Cat after they let us know the services we needed weren't in their scope. I read every review before doing business with anyone. I was hesitant at first, but the work we needed was so specific, we didn't have many options. Have you ever seen a crawlspace used as a neighborhood litter box? Because that's what we were dealing with! Of all the bids we received, only Mighty Men was equipped to vacuum and seal the crawlspace. Others backed off due to health concerns or limited cleanup abilities. Mighty Men was in and out within 24 hours. I almost didn't believe they were done! But our reinspection passed with flying colors and we got final clearance! They've been more than communicative throughout. Years later I would like people to know how my beef turned out w/ this company. I had called for the free estimate I was told they would send out a technician. A Tech. was sent out & we talked about my solution of 2 rodents were coming into my home from under the stove. I had set up cameras & literally watch them. so when the tech. came over we walked the perimeter of the house & I pointed out various location where they might be entering but I knew how they were coming in already. I knew I would have to make sure any screens needed to be closed off & we both pointed out a few locations that needed to be done. my concern was under the crawl space & she check it out. There were some droppings but she said not alot. We talked quite a bit & eventually she left. I called to talk to someone & I spoke to a lady. She was on her way out of the office & seemed bothered by my questions & got rude w/ me. she was mad that the tech. took a long time at my house? I didn't feel it was her place to take it out on me, shes her employee & why be rude to me. Anyways later I found a $100 charge for the, I was told free estimate & called them out on it. The same lady who had gotten rude w/ me answered & our conversation didn't go well. she refused to take the charge off my card & I decided to dispute it, especially cuz no work was done & she tried to say I should worry about infestatio. She tried to make it bigger than it was w/ scaring me & fear tactics. The charges were put back in my account but later they charged me again. I found this company to Not be transparent w/ their policies by saying one thing & promising one thing & than go back on what was said. I ended up doing the work myself w/ a neighbor's help.& so far I have not had any problems & check certain areas of my home making sure entries are all secure & covered. A company that deals in rodents should be transparent & honest & not scare their customers into unnecessary costly repairs Or services. Ten stars, or a million, for Mighty Men! I don't see my original Yelp review here, so I'll just do it again... They are the greatest! I found them about a year ago and am so glad I did. At that time, we had rodents in the basement, I called Seana, and she sent technician Gabriel out to take a look. Seana is an incredible source of information, so friendly and enthusiastic about this topic that most of us would rather not think about. Ditto for Maria, who I also spoke with. Gabriel is so knowledgable, professional, and nice! He calmly explained my options to me and we made a plan. For a year, it worked. There's been more rodent activity, so today I called, and Seana answered right away. And Gabriel was here at 11:30. Wow. Oh, and prices so reasonable. This pest control company was incredibly unprofessional and difficult to work with. They were late when they scheduled their original service appointment, did not send any invoice or payment confirmation after services were rendered, and failed to follow up on treatment status until weeks later. After they called to sell us on an extended service plan, we declined and then the owner got very aggressive and nasty on the phone instead of trying to rectify the situation. I was accused of not paying despite me providing credit card info at the time of service. I also should have read the reviews....If you ever use these people, you better call a few days later to make sure they charged you because they will blame you, the customer, for their poor invoicing practices!!!!! I thought I write this review and update it regularly. The reviews were alarming when I read them but I will write from my experience. I called the number attached to Walnut Creek Pest Control and was redirected to Might Men Pest Control. We have a Vole issue and I know a lot of people in my area have the same. I talked to the lady who answered the phone. She was super knowledgeable and took her time to listen to my concerns. She was able to send someone out today. His name was Dennis. My husband said he was professional and knew what he was doing. He spent about over an hour going through all the holes the voles created and he set up stations for bait. I'm excited to see if everything will work and will come back to update the review. So far everything has been good regarding service and the person(s) we spoke to. read more

I'm not sure what inspection was done, but it's definitely not just one bird. There is currently a flock gathering and sitting on the wall and window top that you were supposed to net. My neighbors, along with other professionals--and the birds themselves--have confirmed that the netting is ineffective in deterring them. My neighbors had similar bird proofing done, paid only a fraction of what I did, and yet they aren't experiencing any bird activity. So why is my house the exception? The only logical conclusion is that the work done here was either poorly planned or poorly executed. And now, after already charging me $6,650, you're asking for another $6,500 to fix your own defective work. That's completely unreasonable. It honestly feels like you're just trying to buy time, knowing full well that by late April or early May, the birds will complete their migration and begin nesting--at which point it will be too late to act. Also, the way you're presenting yourself publicly as helpful while being dismissive and even hostile in private is dishonest and unprofessional. read more

Plain facts: We saw a few rat droppings in a confined area in our garage/utility floor. Mighty Men sent out an inspector for $125. He came out and counted 4 gaps around pipes, one gap in a foundation sill, plus an open, abandoned drain pipe. An estimator later emailed us a long, 2-page scope of work and said a team would be out in 2 days. But there was no estimated cost, no request for a consultation, just this long list. I called for clarification on the scope and a price. Turns out the estimator could not really make sense of the inspector's descriptions of our space and she was unable to open the few pictures he took of the targeted conditions. But she nonetheless assured me that it would take 3 men an entire day to do the job and quoted $2700 for the work. When I said that seemed excessive for the amount of work the inspector outlined, she became gruff and said she had to "keep her guys busy", that if the job didn't take the whole day she still had to pay them for a day's work. When I pressed about the scope versus cost, she became more agitated and said if I could not do as she recommended then maybe her company was not a good fit for us. We all have bad days. Let's hope this was just hers. (And mine, to be honest. No fun finding rat droppings then thinking it will take almost $3k to solve the problem.) But was a bad interaction, and a terrible sales job. read more

The technicians that came to my home were prompt, polite and fairly thorough. No complaints. HOWEVER, this company, specifically Maria are a bit "slippery" with their business practices and charge exorbitant fees with very vague bids. $600 as a starter fee for anything- In my case that was one hour of work ( 2 guys)- and materials were extremely inflated - total cost over $1000. I take the blame- I was referred by another company and didn't check out the reviews. Be VERY careful, unless of course cost is no issue to you.....then their guys are pretty good. When I tried to appeal to Maria with a very minor price reduction after the work was completed and I realized I'd been duped, she was pretty shameless. Mighty Men lied to a friend of mine when they assured him that they would relocate a mother raccoon and her two babies to a "wildlife center." It is illegal to transport and relocate trapped wildlife so these pest removal services kill animals on the spot in the back of their trucks. However, they need a depredation permit and proof that the animal is damaging their property. Mighty Men never asked my friend if the raccoons were damaging his property and I didn't see a USFWS tag on their trap. it is illegal to misrepresent to clients that they will humanely relocate the wildlife. Other reviews have complained about how cruel and inhumane their methods are citing examples of trapped animals left out in the sun and dying inside the traps. Please know that wildlife is attracted to garbage and food that is left out. They will go away on their own if there is no food. Below is the law that forbids transport of wildlife. When you call Mighty Men, you are sending these poor animals to their death. §465.5 (g)(1). Immediate Dispatch or Release. All furbearing and nongame mammals that are legal to trap must be immediately killed or released. Trapped animals must be immediately euthanized or released on site. Relocation of trapped wildlife is prohibited. See section 679 (f)(4) below. read more

I had the most amazing experience recently with Mighty Men. A friend recommended them and I called them for a rodent problem in our basement. The previous company I had used is out of business now. I never would have expected to find such a cheerful, enthusiastic, knowledgable and friendly bunch when dealing with an issue like pest control. Maria, Seanna, and a couple other people I talked to, all of them, were so incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and nice. Who'd have thought! And yes, they are called Mighty Men, but many of them are Mighty Women! My technician was Gabriel, and I will call him Angel Gabriel. He was so nice, so calm and so methodical is helping me choose which way to go for my problem. I appreciated him so much. I know times are tough but Maria has lost the thread. Ye Be Warned. They were responsive, quick, arrived on time - everything started off great. The guy goes under the house and I see him taking video, then they consult - she is clearly excited while she works up her bid - I think I saw little dollar signs in her eyes. We called them because we thought we had a live animal trapped in our vent. The tech shows me video of how our insulation isn't secured properly - I say, okay wow I'm going to call the HVAC company we JUST had out here and have them come and redo it - and that's when Maria says to me " If you're going to have THEM do the work WHY ARE WE OUT HERE?" Uh..for an $90 inspection?? I saw clearly who she was and where this was going in that moment and headed it off " I called you to see if there was an animal trapped in the vent. If there's not, and it's a duct issue, I'm going to start with the HVAC company that needs to fix their work for free. I'm sorry if you're disappointed but that's it. " and I walked away. Extremely please with their service! They were able to remove raccoons from my home and safely relocate them.

We had a house fire that started in the garage , and left smoke damage throughout our attic. We hired Mighty Men Services to remove all the blow in insulation (dirty, smokey, old and not very energy efficient ) and to replace it with new high efficiency insulation. This was not an easy job because I have a very low pitch roof- so the workers had to belly crawl throughout the entire attic to do a thorough job. This company is , honest, fair, and compliant. They stand on their business giving fair and complete as well as thorough service. The service man Rory came and took footage, pictures as well as craw underneath the crawl space of the home. There was no rock left untouched. He also gave the owner Maria a verbal assessment of the inhabited home that I have lived in for the past 8 years in this condition. The property management as well as the owner of this home refused my many complaints of the rodent infestation that I was forced to live in because they refused to move forward with any inspections which would have been followed by clean up of rodent droppings and urine, installation and patching of the rodent entry and exit points. Maria insisted on the owner moving forward because me being a tenant should not have to endure this inhumane living situation. Mighty Men Services, LLC deserves five hundred million stars!!!!!!!. The employees might be great, but I'll never know because the owner was incredibly unprofessional and rude. After I reached out on Yelp, they set up an in person consultation. I've posted our conversation below. After clearing out the access area and taking off work to meet the worker, they never showed. When I called up after our two hour window to check on the arrival time, the owner ended up raising her voice telling me if I had sent my info she would have set up the appointment but she doesn't have a conversation with a Jessica, no information from me, and basically said they are doing me this favor going out of their way to try to do something for me and there has to be a give and take. I'm sorry, I already gave two hours of my time and my energy to give your company business. I'll be going with a company who bothers to show up and if you need to be make other arrangements doesn't accuse me of being the problem. Save your time and go with someone else. She said it was likely I had hundreds of mice, they were probably in the walls and traveling, vacationing, and it would cost many Thousands of dollars to eradicate them. This market is pretty robust right now and some companies appear to be charging quite a bit more than others. Also, remember that pressure tactics in sales is a non-starter. John Lincoln and Ernie are INCREDIBLE employees at mighty men. We had a huge raccoon taking baths in our pool and we needed to catch him ASAP. Mighty men sent out John Lincoln to help me replace and set a trap that I was too scared to touch. He was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me. He really went above and beyond for us! SO thankful they sent him. Ernie was sent out as soon as the raccoon was caught and did an AMAZING job. I was so sensitive because I felt bad for the raccoon, but he was so kind to the raccoon and assured me that it would be taken to a wildlife center. We have had nothing but problems with this company. We hired them to come out and get an animal out that was living in the walls of our garage (suspected raccoon).They said it was rats. They quoted us a price of $2100 to do this and animal proof the rest of our house (covering holes etc.) They came out and did not even look at the area where we told them the animal was going in and out. They charged us $2400 instead of $2100 and never sent us any invoices. They covered up other areas on the outside of the house but the raccoon was still getting in. We called them back, sent them pictures of the raccoon (yes, it was a raccoon), and then said they would come back out to deal with the raccoon. They came out for about 5 minutes and charged us another $299 without telling us or sending us an invoice. They also did not reattach a large, heavy piece of wood correctly that was covering attic area in the garage and it suddenly fell off, crashing down from over 10+ feet, and almost hit me in the head. Communication has been awful, amounts were charged without our consent and we found out they were sending the supposed invoices to an email address that didn't exist. read more

This was a weird experience. We had a dead skunk stuck in the narrow space between 2 San Francisco houses. We needed professional help to remove it. From the other reviews here it sounds like the person who answered the phone was the owner, which makes the experience even weirder. She would not let me even describe the situation without talking over me. She was loud to the point of nearly yelling, sarcastic, condescending, and just constantly interrupting me. She was absolutely uninterested in helping or even listening to what the situation was. It was discouraging & truly disorienting to be treated this way when calling a professional service. Her message was clearly that I was an idiot to expect that they could help me. After all, if I couldn't get the skunk out myself, why would I think they could do it? (Baffling, since of course they are professionals with tools and experience that I do not have.) Anyway, glad I called Mr Raccoon, who was kind & listened to the situation, came out and took a look the next day. it took him maybe 15 minutes to assess & observe the solution - an easily removable board in my neighbor's garage that would allow access to the small space. The removal itself took maybe another 10 minutes. It was a quick, simple & thorough solution that solved the stink problem completely & immediately! As for Mighty Men, I thought maybe I caught this person on a bad day, but from these reviews it appears to be routine. This is not a cheap service, and that is no way to treat potential customers. Go spend your money with Mr Raccoon, who could not have been kinder or more responsive. read more
