After spending over $50K combined for appliances in kitchen…read morerenovation including Bosch dishwasher- door hinge to dishwasher broke twice within first 15 months of use. First time within 6 moths of use. Second time roughly 6-7 months after that. Broken hinge is not a Midland problem but "customer service" essentially told us at first that we had to prove that we bought it there (they have all of our contact info), then it was insinuated that we clearly had a panel that was installed that was too heavy (techs said that it was not), then that it was up to us to call someone ! Finally, Bosch sent 2 technicians - the first one left the water connection unhooked and we had leaking that went on for days even though the dishwasher was not running- now have water damage to our new cabinets. There have been 4 technician visits so far and the broken door (second time around) still not fixed. Midland complaint is how our service request was handled, Bosch technical hinge issue is not MIdland's direct problem but I would not ever purchase a Bosh product again. And Midland needs to make it clear that for a custom built in dishwasher that a certain weight limit needs to be followed (we were). I'm 59 years old and have had many dishwashers in my life, including ones with panel doors. This has been a catastrophe. From a routine service call asking for a broken door hinge to be fixed we now have water damage caused by a water intake valve that was loosened and still no dishwasher after 6 weeks.

Since then, I've been left chasing Midland down just to get basic information on when and how this will be handled. After finally speaking with Steve - a senior manager--who assured me I'd receive updates--I've heard absolutely nothing. No emails, no calls, no follow-through. Just silence. It's not the delay that's the problem--it's the lack of communication and total absence of accountability. I made it clear I can be patient if I'm kept informed, but that has clearly been ignored. My family of four has been hand-washing dishes three times a day for weeks while Midland fumbles a straightforward replacement. The customer experience has been frustrating, stressful, and entirely avoidable. Bosch did their part. Midland has completely dropped the ball. If this is how they handle service, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The store manager sounds pretty amenable about giving additional discounts (eg free shipping) for purchases of more than one appliance. When I first started doing research, all fridges seemed pretty much the same to me and I was a complete ignoramus about appliances. I stayed in the store for two hours, and a store clerk was with me the whole time to help me figure out the right choice for me. I left the store more knowledgeable about electrical appliances and feeling confident about my choice of fridge.

The customer care manager was rude, condescending and unhelpful. When I asked whether I needed to go to the physical store to voice my concerns I was told the police would be called and I would be removed. Their website states that they are committed to values such as respect, responsibility and customer satisfaction. I was not granted any of that. My home insurer is entering subrogation to attempt to recoup costs from C.A.S. and the delivery/install company they use. It is unbelievable that C.A.S. makes no effort to compensate or even offer a goodwill gesture for putting a customer through 6 weeks of misery.

For me, home decorating and organizing is fun, and cooking and baking are fun. So it goes without saying that I ADORE stores like this, that has all the tools - and then some - for cooks and bakers. So many things that I didn't even know what they were, very niche ingredients and kitchen tools. gorgeous linens, imported foods and specialty ingredients. You'd be hard-pressed to NOT find any kitchen item you are in the market for here. I liked the lay-out of this place, too. Despite it being cavernous inside (it IS a warehouse, after all!), it's laid out in a welcoming way, with various delineated areas, wide-ish aisles, and helpful staff around to ask questions if needed. I also liked that there is a large parking lot here, too (shared with the adjacent No Frills). Bonus! My one caveat: unlike the other folks who've written reviews of this place, I found the prices of items here to be on the high side. Granted, they are were very niche and/or high-end and /or imported and all were of high high quality (big names, well-reputed brands). But pricey. Granted, I visited here at prime shopping season; perhaps they have sales at other times of the year. That said, even with the high prices, I still purchased some gifts that I've not seen elsewhere, and for specialty, unique items, I think it's worth it. Even if you aren't a cook or baker or "foodie", this place is still worth a visit, just to wander and be amazed at what's out there. This is an amazing place. And you never know what you'll discover!

Sabine was extremely helpful to me, but I did know exactly the model I wanted. I believe she would be great at helping you choose the best model for your needs. When I picked up my machine, she offered to show me how to thread it, but I thought it would be easy enough to follow the manual at home, which it was. I am sure I will be able to ask her on the phone if any questions come up. I will definitely be purchasing more accessories here, and it's nearby for repairs or maintenance needs. Their bookkeeping methods are a little dated; they accept only cash or credit cards, which they run through the old-fashioned carbon way. Receipts are hand-written neatly and in detail. REALLY They loaned me a kenmore. It's barely adequate for my work. MAGIC, my machine was ready the day after I placed a negative post. YESTERDAY, My machine stopped working again. I used it for three weeks. Called Pfaff head office customer service. The phone on their website...IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. Surprised?
