I usually don't leave reviews. My husband and I use to come here all the time and were never disappointed. However, after the recent change in ownership, the quality of food has been horrible. It's overly salty, greasy, and the ingredients are subpar. All the vegetables in our meal were frozen and flavorless. It's unfortunate to see this place go south. I know it's rare that any teriyaki place would get 5 stars, but this place is AWESOME. I've had almost everything on the menu and make a point of driving to this joint every time I'm in Seattle. Parking is a bit tough because of the pizza joint next door, but it's worth waiting for parking. My favorite dishes here are the bento boxes and the mongolian beef. First, the bento boxes have SOOOOO much food. It's enough for two people to eat. The chicken teriyaki, tempura, roll, it's all super good and way beyond the typical food you would get at a teriyaki place. The mongolian beef is also my favorite. The meat is soft and melts in your mouth. It's sweet but not too sweet and the veggies are fresh. Also, the best part is that the interior does not look like the typical run down teriyaki place. It's clean and has a sit down restaurant feel. I can't wait to go there again! read more

I live right across the street, and I find it hard to stay away with most the items being close to if not just over 5 bucks, their chicken fried rice is ridiculously good, and about the quality you'd expect of a higher end Chinese restaurant, which amuses me, since when does Teriyaki do good fried rice?... Their chicken teriyaki tastes amazing and a good portion for the lowly $5.95 they ask, the sauce is a bit thick some days more than others but I get it on the side and use it for dipping instead of pouring it all over. Gyoza, eggrolls, and sushi here is all good too. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was because the only thing I've been let down by was their amazingly dry chicken Katsu which left me drymouthed and wondering why it cost more than the Chicken Teriyaki... Other than that, this place is a hit and i'll be back many more times to come. read more

We just moved to this area of Bothell and decided to try Midori Teriyaki. The coupon we received in the mail shortly after moving helped us decide which Teriyaki place to try first. We loved it! My husband had their chicken/beef combo, our son had a gyoza plate and I ordered their chicken and gyoza plate. Sodas are free with your meal! Service was quick and friendly. The food was very well made. We weren't disappointed one bit. In fact, we've already placed a take out order since and were just as pleased. For takeout orders they give you canned soda with your meal, and I wasn't charged for extra teriyaki sauce. 2 thumbs up! :) read more

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of my meal and the cleanliness of the location! The spicy chicken sauce was really good and there was a lot of it. Nice and juicy. Well cooked rice and the standard iceberg lettuce salad was ok. The miso soup wasn't very hot when served and a bit bland. Talk about delicious consistency!!!! We LOVE Midori and probably go there once a week. We live close so we were happy that we had one of the best teriyaki places I've ever been to within walking distance. The service is always awesome, they are crazy fast, and you get a free pop with your order! I usually get the chicken breast teriyaki or the yakisoba. I've never had a bad meal here. We've tried the chicken fried rice, gyoza, General tao chicken, and some other classics. The teriyaki is definitely the best by far. Great salad dressing and yaki sauce too. Yelp is not a platform for non confrontational and cowardly whining, rather try being a normal human being using patience and understanding of circumstance and then actually at least talk to restaurant management directly in person first for satisfaction. Maybe then even give it another try, before you publicly slam them here saying you will never go back again after one visit just as Sheri C. does / did in her review below for this restaurant. Her spiteful review and the MANY good reviews are exactly what made me patronize this establishment in the first place so I guess I should thank her for that. Frankly however, Sheri C. sounds exactly like a customer that Midori Teriyaki can do without...aka., someone who hates everything and then takes vindictive revenge hiding behind a keyboard. These are real people's livelihoods and families that we effect in our reviews here after all. I found the service good, the food very good and the value excellent. We've had the Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Stir Fried, Mongolian Beef, General Tao Chicken and Gyoza...all were amazing(!), but the General Tao Chicken was a little sweet for my taste. This place is a real sleeper of a restaurant! The food was excellent and cheap too. They have a small staff that works very hard and is very nice. The spicy teriyaki, California roll and the caterpillar roll were all fantastic! If I'm ever around this area again i am sure i will return. Disappointing. Got tofu teriyaki to go. Strangest I've ever had. Lots of garlic, onions, and green onions. Only three slivers of carrot. Rice was dry and almost crunchy. Only redeeming qualities were the tofu was perfectly cooked and cut up instead of large strips, salad was yummy, and teriyaki sauce was nice. Service wasn't all that great either. I won't be coming back, as I like my traditional teriyaki with good rice and lots of veggies. Thankfully there are lots of choices, although tofu can be tough to find sometimes. read more
