Found this place off to side next BBQ place, wish had more visibility. Hard to tell if anyone was here, without getting up real close. So definitely not typical ice cream stand, I mean stuffed donuts, gelato, Sammie's, eclairs and macaroons. Pretty surprising how versatile they are here, but for the waterfront they need to stand out. Got the original bomba and raspberry macaroon. The bomba was fresh donut stuff with pistachios flavored ice cream with dried cherries, savory and mildly sweet. Really good for sure, but I will tell eating the hot donut and then taking a bite of ice cold ice cream does get you by surprise for a brain freeze. Raspberry macaroon was delicious, very soft and sweet, a basic macaroon in execution. Its bit pricey here, but worth the variety you won't find much anywhere else.

So excited to find a place serving dairy-free soft serve. It was delicious. A light lavender flavor not too overpowering. Very good. It was about $4-5 for a small scoop. I am not sure if it was because it was dairy free, but it was a small serving. Just fyi!

Midnight Ferry is BACK for the season and we couldn't be more excited! It's just the perfect location to go to after dinner, after drinks, for a walk, or just because we really do have the most gorgeous days now and they're here to S T A Y. Can't wait for them to be open for midnight snacks but I'm just happy they're HERE. Of course I came for the cookie dough (MY FAVEEEE) and fudge but they were out of the cookie dough, merrrrppp. Totally ok, decided to go a whole other route and try something I would normally not go for (since usually I go for all the chocolatey stuff). Did someone say Lavender Haze? Swifties, they have it here! It's an earl grey and lavender mixture. I was able to sample it but at the end decided to stick to plain lavender. OMG. An absolute DREAM. This was the haze. This was IT. It was blaster with natural lavender flavor. Best part? No, it wasn't purpley or a vivid lavender color. That's how you k n o w they're working with all natural ingredients. Please keep these flavors forever. Actually, I think there should be a whole Swiftie menu drop, just saying! This staff here is so hard working and always quick and easy window service. We all wanted to snag their awesome playlist that just fills the street. Great hang out spot and bomb ice cream.

One of my favorite spots for ice cream, but now it's one of my favorite spots for drinks for a day out with friends. The bartender was so nice, attentive & gave great suggestions. I tried the peach prosecco float... not only is it a cute drink, but it was so tasty! I love the vibe of the establishment as well. They have a patio open to sit on also.

When I tell you this was the best salted caramel ice cream I've ever had!!! Absolutely delicious and I want to buy a barrel full. The waffle cone is also perfectly thin and crunchy. Just overall the perfect ice cream. It's a small window-only storefront located right by the water so you can grab and go. The line can take a little while but so worth it! Definitely recommend!!

What a surprise? Not. That I am reviewing another ice cream place. We were visiting from out of town. After lunch, our host took us to this newly opened place for ice cream. You walk up to the window and order at the window. The two young ladies working were very pleasant and helpful. The prices were reasonable. I really wanted something small so the small soft serve on sugar cone really hit the spot. Everyone was satisfied with his/her choice.

Really awesome Sammie, nice staff, and cool signs! I just think the wait time could be a bit better since I visited at a less busy time. All in all, a unique experience by the scenic Hudson.

Even in this economy, these prices are wildly out of control. $1 to add a sole cherry on a scoop of kids ice cream. $1.50 upcharge for a waffle cone making the cone $9. Honestly, too much for an outdoor space/window.

The ice cream was very tasty, cute place. My only concern is the price. I paid $5 for a small ice cream (I scoop.) it was good ice cream but not the best I've ever had. It is on the water so I'm sure that raises the price. You can have a beautiful view while eating, I just think it's too expensive. Great service from Julian while there!

Loved all of it!One of my absolute favorite places.Emma is one of the sweetest people to ever know. She's personable, smart, and is great with customers including myself. She makes everyone feel welcomed.I also love the girls there.A.K,Amber,Epiphony and Nicole are wonderful and have great customer service.A.K is outstanding at what she does and takes her job very seriously. As do all the girls. They are friendly, polite, serve you with a smile, and answer any questions you may have about the menu.Together these girls are one of the main reasons I go there.I give this place an eady 5 stars.Id also like to add that A.K does an amazing job with the flower arrangements making the bar area look that much more inviting. 5 stars

]I have been supporting this place of business ever since they opened here in NB. Well, today, im here and the young lady who they have taking the orders at the window has such a nasty attitude. If the music wasn't so loud maybe you can hear the customers placing their orders. No tip today & my family & I will not be returning. Service sucks

Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Ice Cream Cookie

After taking a walk after the Yelp Elite event, I decided to come back to Midnight Ferry and try out their ice cream cookie sandwich. Midnight Ferry is an ice cream shop in Newburgh's Waterfront. To order your ice cream or snacks, you walk up to the window counter and then you are served your items at the left window. I ordered the ice cream cookie sandwich which was pretty good. I have not had one of those in years. The ice cream cookie that I ordered was filled with vanilla ice cream. The cookies that formed the sandwich were brown sugar and cinnamon flavored. Then the sandwich was half-dipped into chocolate and topped off with sprinkles. The ice cream sandwich was good, and it was not until I was halfway home that I realized that I should have ordered more ice cream cookie sandwiches to bring home. If you are looking for an ice cream place in Newburgh that is open late, check out Midnight Ferry. They are right on the Hudson River and there are other businesses in the area, as well.

He offered me a sample of Praline. It was delicious. I told him that I needed to get iced coffee but I would see him on the way out. After drinking my coffee, I wasn't hungry. I hoped I would find the strength to say no to ice cream as I exited. I did not. He offered me another sample. He asked if I like peanut butter.
