He figured out the issue with my POOL! I recently had it remodeled. And Garcia Pools (owner Yoshi) crappy customer SERVICE for an owner of a pool service and at this point dishonest - never replaced my caps in my pool!! By keeping my caps, it guaranteed my pool would not work. Well, come to find out those caps hold pressure in the pool so it works properly. They wanted to charge an additional $600 to fix air leaks in my pool, but in reality, if they had just returned my end caps... The pressure in my pool would have held. David assessed each of my pop-ups. Three needed to be replaced. He was a trouble shooter. So if you have had long time issues with your pool, and specifically if you have a self cleaning pool that you are having a hard time troubleshooting I highly recommend David to come out and look at it. He's a smart guy and honest. He did the hard work to figure out my mystery. I had one pop up that wasn't working at all and so no water flow was going through it. And that's when he realized that I was missing all of my end caps on my pool which regulates my pressure. The same end caps.... YOSHI removed but never replaced. Thanks David. You did an great job. I called them out and gave them about 7 days of back and forth to fix it. They had multiple attempts all failures. At that point I gave up and using reviews called Refresh Pools for a second opinion. The owner came out. He knew exactly what was needed, from immediate fix to the things that were needed for longer term success. I hired them and the photos show the results. My amazing pool maintenance company-TLC Pool Service and Repair -Deron! Deron is super picky and been in the pool business forever. He only works with Scottsdale Pools-Dustin. My neighbor also referred him and I watched them at work and was so impressed. They designed and built our neighbors beautiful pool and back yard. We already had a pool/spa but it needed resurfaced-going from plaster to pebble tec sheen. We also needed a great deal of tile repair. WOW! Scottsdale Pool exceeded our expectations-which were already set very high! Dustin the owner came out initially to go over every detail. He is outstanding in his field. He is SO knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. He explained the entire process. He told us what day his crew would be out to demo the pool. They showed up at 7:00am (as soon as HOA allowed). They worked non stop until the pool and spa was completely chipped out. Everything was hauled away that day! Next came his amazing tilers-Dago and Cindy. They did the mortar, set, grout and sealed waterline tile. They also repaired tile and rebuilt the entry way. Tile work was not properly planned, and insufficient materials were ordered which forced a redesign mid-project. After refill, the auto-filler ran nonstop and I repeatedly raised concerns about a leak. No action was taken for months and my water bills increased significantly. I eventually hired independent leak detection and found multiple leaks that should have been tested/identified after demo. Also had property damage that wasn't repaired. Would highly not recommend.

He located the leak (a 40 gallon a day leak when the pump was operating) in the first hour. Not only did Rodney locate the leak, he discovered the cause for the leak and suggested action to take to prevent it from happening again. It took three days to complete the repair and notwithstanding the need to jackhammer the concert apron around pool, the leak was repaired and the pool concrete apron replaced within the three days of work. Aside from a slight difference in color of the replaced concrete, it is nearly impossible to tell where the repair was made. Plus, the repair comes with a TWO- YEAR warranty! During their visit, I was informed that a $5 plastic basket needed replacement which they charge $35; however, no mention was made of a leak in my pool heating system. When I later asked the technician to inspect the heating system issue, I was quoted $195 for a service call, despite the fact that he had been at my home just the day prior. Due to these concerns, I have decided to terminate their services and file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
