I checked another big appliance retailer in Scottsdale but was turned off after first visit. We started realizing value of working with Sales Rep. at Ferguson on Hayden in Scottsdale. But we had some difficulty following up with a rep. Then we almost accidentally bumped into Ali Kostos. Ali was the game changer. Ali is very patient, honest, diligent and knowledgeable Sales Rep. Many times she saved us by advising on various appliance choices and always provided rationale for why something is better in our context. We bought over 25K appliances thru Ali at Ferguson. I would also like commend their www.build.com website. It is very valuable tool to research, organize your purchases and communicate with the Sale Rep.

Samantha works with Ferguson's headquarters in Virginia, inside sales representative that answers calls about plumbing and lighting. She doesn't give up trying to find me a hard to find uncommon part. I needed shortest length (1 foot) 3/8" double ended gas line connector, or 3/8" on one end and 3/8" mail FLARED end on the other end. Hardly anything uses 3/8", so Home Depot and Ace do not carry it, but Lowes did carry 3/8" but it was 36" long. I don't have room in my RV cabinet (to hook up RV fridge to run on propane) for all that hose. Samantha made several phone calls to manufacturers to find me that hose, but some manufacturers were not available. So she had to call me back next day. Well she never did call me back, so I assume she didn't find a 12" hose, but a friend had one in his garage, that he didn't need. I didn't even think they existed. If I had a company, I sure would be honored to have an employee like Samantha. I wish she could work for some of the property management companies that "aren't there for me" and give me horrid service, that I have to beat out of them.

Well, they charged me $390 to come out and install a new one..yes, $390. The smoke detector was $79 on Amazon, so the call with alarm was $311 profit. Another alarm went off. I went to Home Depot, bought the same one ($45 on sale), and installed it myself. A ladder, screwdriver, and twisting 3 wires twisted together.....$45, I would say if you have a fire alarm chirping, buy it yourself and if you can't do it (elderly), call in a handyman ($45) I don't know if their price is because I live in North Scottsdale or if that is their normal price....but it is excessive

After having a handyman replace a old smoke detector 60 days ago the new detector started chirping…read moreagain. Frustrated that the issue was not fixed i decided to have a professional do it this time. I spent the next 36 hours trying to get someone to come out to repair / replace it, I luckily found this place. Wow, how different to call a place where the person answering know what they were talking about. Most places just have someone to schedule an appointment with someone who hopefully knows what they are doing. Ivan, the technician that came out a few hours later was great. Completely checked all my detectors and came up with a solution that worked. I am safe and happy no more "chirping".
