My issue isn't that they charged a fee, it's just that $20.00 feels excessive for simply handing over a package that was already there. In a small community, moments like these are an opportunity to build good will and customer loyalty. A more reasonable fee or a small handling fee would have left a much better impression. Instead I walked away feeling like a small mistake became an unnecessary expense. I respect their right to run their business as they see fit, but this experience left me disappointed.
