I get free oil changes from my dealership, so I've been looking for a good place to take my car for other things. My husband brought his car here and had a good experience, so I decided to come here and had my car inspected. I had an appointment at 2:00, and dropped it off a few minutes before that. I asked how long it would be, and they said about 45 minutes, which was fine. I decided to walk to a restaurant in the plaza, and told them I'd come back. They said that was fine, and they'd just call me if it was ready and I wasn't there. So, it was 2:30, and I was about to walk back. To my surprise, my phone rang, and it was ready! I honestly don't think my oil changes have ever been done that quickly, so I was shocked! They also didn't try to upcharge or sell me anything, which is always a plus! The parking lot is a little small, but they also pulled my car up right to the door so it was super easy for me to get out. And I had my Dunder Mifflin shirt on, and at least two Office fans work here, so that's always a good thing! I wouldn't hesitate to come back here. read more

I first stopped by Midas on a Sunday, after another certain discount tire shop down the street failed to order tires for the appt I had with them. I'd been stuck in the snow that week Bc my tires were so bad, and couldn't wait any longer. The owner, Rich, came out to talk to me on a Sunday when he saw me pull in. Even though they weren't open (they were having a staff meeting) he took the time to help. His son, service manager Anthony, helped me pick out all season tires. Their price, including work, was also much more reasonable that the aforementioned "discount tire shop" down the road. They also do free rotations every 5000 miles to extend the life of your tires. When their delivery truck was running late due to heavy snow, an employee went out of his way to drive to the delivery truck and get the tires to make sure they were there on time. Midas changed the tires in about an hour. (Mavis, the "discount tire shop" had quoted me a work time of 3-4 hours). Midas is honest, hard working, reliable, and goes above and beyond for the customer. They are also family owned and operated. Now more than ever it is important to support our local businesses. My family has used Mavis for years. Because of my experience with Midas, I've convinced them all to switch. Today I was absolutely blown away by the experience we had with Midas in Webster. My wife had new tires put on through my usual shop in Henrietta just a couple days ago. Unfortunately, 2 days in one tire went flat. It's 5:00 PM already, she's nowhere near Henrietta, so what do we do? The closest place was this Midas location so she took a chance and stopped in. All I wanted was for her to go pay to get the spare put on and I would bring it in in the original place in the morning. Rich, the owner of this shop, took her in, got the car lifted and quickly discovered the brand new tire wasn't properly sealed. He fixed it, she was there maybe an hour and wouldn't accept a penny from her. Honestly, Rich, you probably have no idea how much trouble you saved us. We have 2 little kids and both work full time so any time one of us has car issues it's a major hassle. We're absolutely humbled by your kind gesture. So, if you're considering what shop to go to take care of your vehicle in the Webster area, just know that if you choose this location you'll be supporting a local business owner who has class, kindness and integrity. The staff took their time and explained what needed to be fixed and how it's done. The manager showed me what was going on with my car pointing out what the issue was in my case a coolant leak at my water pump he gave me an estimate on how long it would take and how much it would cost and when I came back to get my car it was fixed properly and the price stayed the same and this is just one of many great experiences I've had with these guys since I've been going to them. It's far and few in between finding a honest and fair mechanic that gets the job done right the first time around. Also while waiting in the reception area all the other customers where boasting about how great this store is just goes to show. read more

As we all know finding a good car repair shop can be annoying. That's why I highly recommend going to Midas. I've been going here for many years and Rick and his staff have always been great. If they can they'll take you to your car and show you the issue they've found, and then they ask if you want them to fix it. They of course let you know if it's something you really should get fixed, but they don't try and pressure you to have it repaired there. If you have a concern after a repair Rick will do his best to squeeze you in as soon as possible to address it despite them always being very busy. Keep up the great work! read more

Biggest thing was that I didn't have a ride to pickup my vehicle and they came to get me 15 minutes before closing up shop. Was way late for my first service from Vision Hyundai. "Free oil change" but even with appointment my wife waited 3.5 hours, so I just looked for some local well-reviewed places. Called this place as I left work. Asked if I needed appointment. No, they said, but we can have you in and out if you make one. But come on by and we'll try. So I did. They got me right in, changed oil and inspected car. I asked to rotate tires but they showed me where one tire was gashed to steel wires. Couldn't find a replacement, told me check with dealer, and said rotating them now would be a waste of my money. Plus, since I'm new here, the owner really told me the ins and outs of what or why not to use snow tires, and the pros and cons of buying rims and mounting them yearly, or just swapping tires. I left feeling like I had a decent guy I could trust in the future. All that for $21. read more

Went to Midas today to have my transmission fluids changed on my camry. The guy told me that it would be an hour and thirty minute wait, so I left him my phone number to call me after it was done. After 2 hours of waiting, they guy forgot to call me and told me that he would take $20 off my bill and I was okay with it so he explained that it would be $89.99 and then tax. I was a bit confused since it already said on the price chart that it was $89.99... I tried showing him a $5 off coupon, but he already put the "$20 discount" on it. When I got back home, I was reviewing the bill. I called Midas back if there was a mistake and all I heard was in the background was "what is that girl whining about now?" Really? That is no way to talk about a customer when asking about the bill. He told me that he uses "more expensive oil" for camrys and hondas and that's why it was $109. I looked at my bill and THERE WAS NO $109 TOTAL. It was basically $89.99 total and then tax. NO $20 OFF DICOUNT. Basically he made me pay regular price AND prevented me to use the $5 off coupon. Ask about price FIRST and TOTAL from now on. read more

Have always been able to get an appointment for same day or next day, work has been completed quickly, they are very nice to deal with, have never felt like I was being taken advantage of. This would definitely be my first stop. read more
