I started taking my vehicles here last year after many local people recommended them as being fair with prices and having great/quality service. The reason why I'm finally leaving a review is because I got rear ended (very lightly) so I drove to them and they did a once over. No charge. Great customer service. read more

I go to Tire World for more than just getting my winter tires on and off. I got there for basically all of my car needs. Inspections, check engine lights etc. The staff are responsive and nice, especially because I don't know much about cars. One time I had a light on in my car and they fixed it but the light came back after a few days. They looked at the car again for free. I can't say enough good things about Tire World!! read more

I've been bringing my cars and RV to this shop for tires and NYS inspections for many years. Most recently I brought my RV in for an inspection and told them that I was unhappy with the Ride (very hard). The guys at the shop were quite confident they could make a significant improvement. So I spent the big bucks 6 Light Truck tires is a chuck of change. Anyway I could not be happier with the outcome, what a huge difference. Thanks guys !!! read more

I really enjoyed my experience with Tire World. Generally, I try and make a choices based on online prices at retailers, which led to extreme complacency. Tire World does not post their prices online, you need to call or email for a quote. I called because I think that generates better results. I shopped for tires for the last 4 months trying to decide on the tire I wanted. Tire Rack is a great source for this as the post the most relevant information on UTQG ratings for tires. Tire Rack recently marked the Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 down under $100. This seems like a good tire based on treadwear, traction, and it is also low rolling resistance. Costco priced these tires at $112 per tire, plus installation costs. Tire World charged $155 for the tire, mounting, and balancing. This is a great price for this tire. Tire World charged me $75 for a four wheel alignment. This is between $10 - $30 cheaper than quotes I received from Sears, Firestone, and a couple other shops. While my car was in for service, Mike (who is great) told me that my struts and rear coils were bad (completely obliterated). I knew that they were bad since I bought the car and this was part of the disclosure. They also noticed that a rear coil was broken and that a gas tank strap had rusted off ( i knew this as well). They charged $487 for the front struts and links, $383 for the rear coils, and $10 for the gas strap. Honestly, If I had not known that these issues existed I may have felt under the gun, but I knew I had to fix them anyway and the car was in the shop. I called Vail's in the South Wedge ( I like Vail's because they try to keep costs low) and they said that they could maybe do the job for $50 less, but said the prices were in the right area. Other big bonuses about this place 1) They had my tire size in Stock (215/55/16). Every place I called didn't really have that size in tires I wanted. 2) Mike is friendly and straight forward (and comforting). 3) Randy, my mechanic, seemed like a great guy. We talked a little about the car. 4) This is a low pressure environment. 5) Everything was really clean and organized. My impression is that this is a great shop with great staff and good prices. I think that if you found a better price elsewhere that they would match it or do better. PS - I submitted a pic of my bill. There was $112 in taxes added on the end (New York!!!!!). read more

This place was great! Extremely professional, very clean and ruthlessly efficient. I don't feel like I was being taken advantage of as a female either. The price for the tire was better than most and they had my Bridgestone tire in stock! It was a very pleasant experience and I recommend them to anyone! read more

Honest and informative about tires! Great customer service which you just don't find these days. They helped me make a decision about OE tires that dealership and manufacture could not help me with. Thank you! When i need tires I will be going to see these guys. read more

I cannot express how helpful the manager, Mike Meyer, was in helping me fix my vehicle's tire in order for my children & I to be able to go away on vacation. He located a tire and made sure it arrived at the store on a Saturday so that I would not have to wait until Monday to leave. It was this exceptional customer service that made me so grateful to have discovered Tire World! read more

Great service, fair pricing, and respectful of my time. Will definitely be returning for my car maintenance needs.

This place awesome. They'll give you top notch quality tires and maintenance for a better deal than anywhere else. Honesty is their number one quality because they will talk you out of getting something if it isn't necessary for your car. If your car does need something they will personally show and explain to you exactly what the consequences of getting or not getting it will be. Other places would charge an arm and a leg for stuff you probably don't need. read more

Really disappointed in Tire World. I have been a customer for several years and spent literally thousands on oil changes, tires, and repairs on three different cars. Today, they fixed our brakes and told my husband that two of our tires were bald, dangerous, and in need of immediate replacement. A trip to another tire store down the street, a ruler to measure tread, and, we're told the very same tires have at least 5,000 more miles on them. I can't understand how a business would do this to a loyal customer. :( read more

A friend suggested this place. I needed a tire fast! The men that work there were quick to get me in and out which I appreciated, at the time. My tire was not balanced properly and the alignment needed to be redone. In the end it ended up costing me more money. Don't try to swindle a deal go to a reputable place. read more
