My husband has been going here for years without issue. On his last visit, he set an appointment time, showed up at said time, then was told his appointment was an hour ago. Went here for rotors and brakes. They charged $288.00 for 2 rotors. These rotors sell for $63.00 anywhere you look. The grand total was $550.00 for front rotors and brake pads. NO, they are not slotted or performance rotors. BR900846. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. read more

Wade and his team are excellent. They give you honest advice and clearly explain your options. They are not pushy or trying to make you pay for service you don't need. They will refer you to other local businesses if it is something specific that they don't handle. I highly recommend them for Tires, brakes, oil changes, inspections and more. I bring my personal vehicles to them and now our company vehicles as well. Yes, you need an appointment but I rather wait for Wade than use any of the chain stores! read more

Awesome experience! I brought my car here on a recommendation from another place that I trust who was unable to fix my flat at the time. I was already enraged because of a terrible experience at Goodyear in Penfield who told me they couldn't fix the flat, that I needed 4 new tires! Dial-a-tire got me right in and fixed the tire in no time flat! They were honest, courteous, and didn't treat me like a stupid woman who doesn't know any better. Putting snow tires on my car was a first experience for me this year, I ended up being 8 minutes late for my mounting and balance appointment. As soon as I got there, I apologized and asked if there's any way they could still take me in. The owner of the shop proceeded to say that since I was late she could not get me in. The mechanic standing next to her at the desk told me that he sent all of the other workers home for the day, so he wouldn't be able to do it all by himself. I remained very polite and I tried to be understanding but also advocate for myself and asked if they could please still take me in even though I was late, I explained my circumstance and said that I work during the week and really can only get a weekend appointment and had to change my schedule around for this. The woman, who is the owner of the shop, proceeded to say that since I was late there was nothing they could do and just would have to reschedule me. I was very polite to her and asked if there is a policy they have in place about not accepting late customers and asked if there is grace period in the event customers end up being late. The woman then took about 5 minutes to talk to the mechanic in private about whether or not they're going to accept me for the appointment since I was late. After debating, they proceeded to tell me that I was 15 minutes late even though my clock read 8 minutes late, I know I'm mentioning small details here but in the realm of customer service I think that the owner should have been much more open and understanding of my circumstance. The mechanic told me that he sent all of his others workers home and that it would be so frustrating and difficult for him to do by himself. I said I understand it is tough physical labor here, but at the same point maybe they should reconsider sending all of their other workers home before their shop closes. I said calmly but firmly, you guys just lost a customer, I will not be coming back to dial-a-tire. Anyone who still chooses to use their service, don't be late! read more

I will never be going back to Dial-a-Tire and would recommend you to do the same. I was charged $44.26 for 'No repair - took car for test drive, loud tires.' Then was charged $80.96 for a loose lug nut - that is a lot of money for something so simple. In November of 2013, I had to get new tires on my 2005 Escape and of course brought my car to Dial-a-Tire to have the work done. I got four new Firestone tires; since the SUV was all wheel drive, that cost me $640.72, I had no issues with paying that price. Then in July of 2014, nine months later I bring my car back in as I am hearing a loud sound when going over bumps. Come to find out my right rear passenger wheel well completely corroded through. I was charged $53.97 for someone to see a hole over a foot long in my wheel well and to tell me the sound was coming from my shock tower that was loose which was hitting the inside of my car. My family and I were going to this place for several years, we thought we were receiving service from a mechanic who we could trust and respect, found out otherwise. read more
