This is a perfect example of a welder that is not a welder and should've stayed in a retard school

A replacement muffler and catalytic converter was to be installed. After picking the vehicle up, and getting at home. Looking at the work done there was no catalytic converter and had to make another appointment to have one installed. Then, after the catalytic converter was installed, my sister who is the owner of the vehicle. Got extremely sick due to an exhaust leak because of the very pathetic welds on the exhaust that they put the new catalytic converter on. Keep in mind and O2 sensor was supposed to be installed too and new gaskets from the intake manifold to the engine They charged her $510.41 She had to make two trips down there, and her second time back where the Exaust leak made her extremely sick. Has yet to be determined whether they gonna do the right thing and fix it the way it's supposed to be fixed. The Owner Tony. D'Andrea has been contacted and left a message on his answering service and have not heard anything back as of yet if they want to make things right and finish up the very amateur welding jobs that they done. Along with the O2 sensor that was not replaced. The first estimate was supposed to be $300.00 Then she went back the estimate jumped to $510.41 and they didn't bother putting the catalytic converter in the first time around as mentioned above. I understand that Tony is the owner, but perhaps he should hire Help that has an IQ higher than their shoe size?

I needed brakes on my Lexus and Tony got right on it saving me about 1/2 of what the Lexus dealer wanted.

Absolutly love this place! Literally the only people I let work on my truck (yes my truck is my…read morebaby!). I am so grateful for everyone there, especially Nick! He always treats my "baby" like the princess she is and keeps me fully informed on all services as well as what maintenance and or repairs need to be done and when. Highly recommend Christian Brothers in general but THIS store especially!!!

Without indicating there was ANY cost involved whatsoever, Front Desk Guy sweetly asked "would you like us to give it a once-over?" Which, since I was at that time a regular customer, I THOUGHT that meant just give it a safety-check out of courtesy to a repeat, publicly complimentary, senior-citizen client that they maybe cared for! How wrong I was. After having it several days, they tell me that they can't fix the original problem because they "Couldn't find the part - and wouldn't install an after-market part off of Ebay" (My car is a 1999 w/ low mileage) Then the real Clinker after 3 days: They call and say, "We couldn't fix your problem, but come and get your truck and pay Christian Bro's nearly $200 bucks for a "diagnostic" that I WAS NOT INFORMED UP FRONT would cost anything at all! But also, this 'Diagnostic' informs me that my truck needs OVER $4300 DOLLARS in servicings and repairs - Including NEW BRAKES that, apparently the "Diagnostic expert" wasn't aware had been replaced by them on that very truck a few months earlier! I felt totally taken advantage of and complained to the manager, John, who gave me some "yada yada" and stated that that particular employee working the front desk was fired - However, and this is the whole point of the story - This manager of this multi-million dollar, allegedly 'Christian', gold-mine on the corner of Thunderbird & 75th Ave would NOT refund all, or any part, of this deceitful charge with a humble apology for their unscrupulous employee (note: Failure to disclose a COST right up front is a LIE ) Not only that, but Upsell #1 opened the door for MEGA-UPSELL #2 of $4,319 dollars! I STILL look back at this lengthy report with shock and awe. According to this diagnostic that I didn't ask for, there's no reason, whatsoever, my truck is still able to roll down the street. According to them, practically EVERYTHING on my vehicle is on it's last couple of miles.; Lastly, and final insult to my patronage, my age, my intelligence, nor would Christian Brothers even offer a discount or a half-off on the next visit to them. You know, a way of saying, "We still want your business". I think they saw a senior-woman and saw a dumb sucker ready to be plucked out of the stream of suckers. In that lone experience, I learned Christian Brothers is all about "Show me the $ MONEY $" They are only after the money, and customer retention is completely moot. They could care LESS if you are a returning customer. I am no longer using Christian Brothers for any auto repair needs. If anyone knows of an HONEST, caring, competent auto mechanic around Peoria/Glendale please be so kind as to DM me. I'm shopping for one. **I tried to scan & copy the actual Invoice from this incident, but for some technological mystery beyond me - I couldn't get this file search in Yelp to access where I am sure I put the two files.**

Good morning Yelpers. Just wanted to share this Midas experience with you all…read more. So I decided to give a Groupon Midas Oil Change a try..I was amazed! Great customer service. Clean establishment. Fast and accurate work. They even replaced a brake light that was out with no extra cost..and a full synthetic oil change is cheaper than the Groupon itself..which is awesome info..so when I do run out of oil buys on Groupon..I can come here and get it for a little cheaper..cause saving money at place that takes care of your car needs is always a plus.. Thank you Midas!

I am NOT a lawyer, but I am a car person 1. I can get my one…read moreFREE oil changed a year. 1. I was told that had to pay. Now I paid for a program that is called the Midas Gold Card. The manager did want to look to see if I was under the problem. Just told me I had to pay. I pull out my card and show him. After the oil changed he told me that cost was $$.00 and I told him again. He punched my card, and that was not the end of it. They told me I need my car pipes clean and it was the law that he could not let me drive my car off the lot. I tried to tell him that I got it done somewhere else and started to show him the paper, getting mad at me, and he told me to get outut, a customer was hearing this. After the manger stop tell off and try to sell me I didn't need. I just wanted to leave, when I start to leave, he gave me a free oil change. Truth I would not go back if you payed me all the money in the world. I don't like to be treated that way and be sold something I don't need, knowing I did need it. So, if anyone tell you that you need to buy or need something, ask other auto places and see if they say the same thing. 2. Know your car. JUST DON'T GET SOMETHING DONE. ASK A QUESTION. There are always people who love to talk about engines. If you don't explain it to them, that is not the place for you or tell you that is the law( make then show you in writing). Keep track of what you do to your car and who does it for you. There are comany what will do and say anything to get your money. I don't know about you but I am not rich. A good COMPANY WILL LISTEN, NOT TRY TO SELL YOU SOMETHING YOU DON'T NEED, OR TELL YOU LIES. Talk to other people and see what they think about the company. If you want to go ANY place, ask other people. GOOD COMPANY WILL STAY IN BUSINESS AND BAD COMPANY WILL NOT. JUST TALK TO OTHER PEOPLE, SPREAD THE WORD. THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY.
