Mitch, and every other individual I've met so far at this business have been nothing but honest, kind, caring, and supportive of my decisions and thoughts regarding the well-being of myself and my vehicle. I appreciate all of their labor, time and energy and will be returning for a third visit in 2 to 3 months. Thank you guys! For amazing work and customer service! ^__^ read more

Midas - Auto Repair Near Me - Lee's Summit, Missouri

I have been here only twice, and they have taken care of my car each time. I had brake issue back in 2023 and they fixed them after another person messed them up, and now another place told me I needed new brakes already and they inspected them saying I don't even need them at this time. The store manager Randall has taken care of me and honest. read more

I had my car towed beginning of September to get looked at after it stopped rolling down the road. They claimed the transmission was the problem. The transmission was NOT the problem. I was told after I towed it a 2nd time and had it taken to a place in Raymore, The differential and back clutches had gone out! read more

First time getting an oil change here. Normally just go to the dealership. They left the oil cap off!!! Thankfully I planned to replace the air filter at home, otherwise it could have gone unnoticed for quite a while. Sadly I had been driving it around running errands so there's oil splattered all over. I would post a picture if I could. Very disappointing. This place specializes in convenient oil changes.. read more

I been a been a customer for some time now and I love the polite and honest service and support received from Randal and the staff here. I just love that I've never had any issues with the quality of work they do and the prices are always within my budget. I will continue coming to this location always because I get great car & customer care. read more

The staff very friendly and left feeling good after getting $90 Oil Change. Then next day engine coolant light comes on and that system is part of courtesy check. Coincidence or convenient? I'm from Missouri I find this suspect? Will have my normal mechanic check it out especially since radiator and coolant system were replaced during COVID-19 epidemic. read more

2 muffler's in 4 years and now the flex joint has failed. And yes, as you may have guessed, will require the purchase of exhaust system #3. A bargain at the near $800 quote. I am not referring to an exotic sports car or an off road vehicle. No, just a simple soccer mom's mini van. Maybe you will have better luck. read more

I was very disappointed on the fact that they obviously worked on my car and scratched it leaning into the motor. It was exactly zipper height but they said I couldn't prove it was them and would not do anything about it. Very frustrating and expensive to get this fixed. No help from them. Will not ever go back. read more

My wife's car needed some break work done and they fixed the problem quickly with less time than I thought. Ryan and Steve helped to keep us satisfied with the work done. Thanks again for the great service. read more

Got a flat near Midas. Already had the new tire so we called to asked if they could mount it for us today. They said yes so we drove very slowly with hazards to get it mounted. We arrived at 5pm and went in to let them know we were here. They told us they could mount the tire TOMORROW BC THE TIRE GUY IS LEAVING IN FIVE MINUTES. Are u serious?! Luckily I was able to get a tow to Big O's and at the time of writing this at 528pm the "Tire guy" is still here. So much for an apology for the false info and rudeness I guess. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Randal and his crew are very friendly and professional.. I would definitely recommend!!

I typically go to this location for oil changes, and minor needs. The staff is always really friendly, and I trust them to give me honest feedback and not try to nickel and dime me. Yesterday I went in for a MO inspection and was told I wouldn't pass as my brakes needed to be changed. It was not a surprise, I knew it was needed, but it definitely wasn't an expense I was ready to take on at this time. Nick was the manager on duty that day and was very kind in talking me through my options, and making sure I was able to pass inspection and get on the road safely. The only complaint I have is the wait. I had scheduled an appointment for 11am, and while I was late by 10 mins (I did call to let them know), I didn't leave until 3:45pm. I waited for 4.5 hours for an oil change, my breaks to be changed, and my inspection. I was told it's because they didn't have the right parts for the breaks, and had to go get them. I wasn't expecting to wait that long, and I wasn't updated on my wait time. It would have been nice to have someone come out, explain the issue, and their estimated time for completion. That being said, everyone did look like they were working hard to complete all their drop offs/appointments for the day! I'm sure it was just a busy day - but, again, it would have been nice to have an idea of how much time the visit was going to take. Thank you to Nick, and Midas! read more

picked up my sons car. Midas charged $340 for a power steering hose assembly that costs $81.99. also charged over $300 in labor, which is way out of line also. To me, this is the worst kind of dishonesty read more

$1000 to replace entire brake system. Got a second opinion, only needed $275 in repairs. Also got charged $25 to exam the brake system. Buyer beware. read more

Took vehicle in for scheduled oil change and state inspection. Upon pick up, ask for vehicle inspection report. They say they didn't know they were supposed to do one, even though upon check in said vehicle was there for oil change and inspection. So they "supposedly" go back and do a "quick" inspection and say it does not pass for 2 tires, and nothing else. A week later after getting the tires replaced elsewhere, we make an appointment for the inspection and wheel alignment for Friday, 8/12 at 1pm. Show up, and they say "no, they made the appointment for tomorrow at 1pm." Great, someone else messed up. Go back on Sat for the 1pm appointment. 90 minutes for a wheel alignment and state inspection. Then get told it doesn't pass again, this time for a brake light on and exhaust leak....that they didn't find a week ago. What?? Ask for the wheel alignment report and they say they can't print one but that it was fixed. Ok. Drive home and the vehicle still pulls to the right, same or worse than before. We will never visit this Midas location again and not recommend them to anyone. read more

I saw a coupon about $100 off on brake service with Midas and called ahead about it. Guy in the phone tells me he needs to see the coupon before I set my appointment so I emailed myself the coupon. Set an appointment for 8:30am on May 23rd 2020. I got there about 5 minutes late and was told that my appointment would only take an hour and a half which was fine because that left me enough time to head to work afterwards. I was also told my coupon that I saw (which is now unavailable online apparently) has expired No problem. Click hits 9:50 and I look over to see my car still on the lifter and employees talking and on their phones instead of finishing the job. Mind you I've expressed I had to be at work at a specific time ( which is why I set an early appointment since it would only take an hour and a half) and I was told it would only take "another thirty - forty minutes." So I wait, click hits 10:40 and my car is still without wheels! In conclusion, I appreciate the service being done on my car, but I do not appreciate having my time wasted not appreciate the farewell given. I would not recommend unless you bring in a game station and have 3 hours to spare on a brake pad service! :) read more

We needed to repair brake pads/rotor that had been going out for too long. Midas LS got us in on the same day and made the repairs in a timely manner. A few days later, we thought we could hear some noise in the same area of the repair. They let us bring it in before they closed, looked it over, made sure that our repair was done right and got it back to us in without charging us. The car is running great now. Very happy with the above and beyond service. read more

Very fast and friendly service I appreciate the honesty as well!!!!! I will be coming back and I highly recommend anyone to get a oil change here!! read more

Awful experience. I went in for an oil change because it was $19.99 and close to work. They did an inspection and said my brakes were 1/2 worn. I didn't ask for an inspection. I had nothing wrong with my brakes. My car wasn't making any noises. I got my car back and instantly was making noises. I took it back in for them to "fix" now apparently my pads were worn down to "metal on metal" and totally need to be replaced. What a joke. I wish I would have looked at the two previous yelp reviews. I never would have taken my vehicle there. I will never go back to this location and will do everything I can to avoid using Midas in the future. Hopefully I will never be in a position for them being the last resort. Please just give the oil change and don't screw people's vehicles up. Not a coincidence you're in the "brake business" and out of no where my brakes have a problem. Hopefully 60 minutes is coming your way to do an investigative report. lol read more

I went to another shop in Lee's Summit to have my brakes checked, after looking at my brakes they said I needed front and rear brakes. They said the repairs were going to cost me in excess of $750.00, so I decided to get a second opinion and take it to the Midas in Lee's Summit. They explained to that they would do a complete brake inspection. After that they brought out to the shop to explain what they found. They showed me that all of the brakes, front and rear were in really good shape. So the reason my brake pedal was low was that the rear brakes needed to be cleaned and adjusted, and they only charged me $40. I very much appreciate their honesty and I will always take my car to Midas in Lee's Summit!!! Kim read more
