I had my brother take my car in to get an oil change for me. I originally made a reservation for the Cathedral City location, but they had too many people call off sick and I don't hold it against them with COVID still spreading. So I booked an online appointment for the Indio location which is closer to my location. I didn't realize it until the day of my appointment that my coupon was only valid for the Cathedral City location. So I called about 10 minutes before my appointment. I made a mistake when booking my appointment online which was why I was never call back to confirm my appointment. Tony was extremely friendly, nice, and professional. Tony assured me that I would be able to drop my car off and they would get to it by the end of the day and that they would honor my coupon on top of all of that! I own a 2007 Ford Fusion. The AC quit working Friday. Looked on the internet and there is a common problem with the fusions. I called and talked with Vincent. If this was the problem with my fusion it would cost in excess of $700. Most of that was labor. The part was $65. I told him I would be in Monday morning. As it turned out my blower went out. I never post reviews on here, but this one was worth it. I got my brakes fixed at another location in Los Angeles and drove out to the desert to visit friends. My front wheel was making a terrible noise as I was driving out there, so I had to take it out to a shop. I chose Midas and it was a great decision. Raul and the team were extremely helpful - it turns out that two caliper bolts were missing on my front wheel. It could have been very dangerous! Never again will I use Midas. I have a 2008 Jeep needing a brake job: 1 caliper, all 4 brake pads 2 rear rotors and it cost me over $700??? That's ridiculous -and I've never spent that much on brakes! It's a basic Jeep and I feel ripped off. read more

I had been having a hard time with my brakes recently, and I had been calling everywhere to see how much a diagnostic for my car would cost. I talked to Tony's wife on the phone and she gave me the estimate and what they would be checking. When I arrived there were a few people ahead of me. But, they were able to help me in no time. After doing the diagnostic they told me I needed a brake booster vacuum pump. Tony had called a few places and no one seemed to have it. But he didn't give up and eventually found one near by. What an exceptional experience! Tony is the best. He is friendly, professional and a great communicator. We were on holiday for Thanksgiving and my brakes started making a terrible noise. I called the morning before Thanksgiving and Grace said to bring it in and they would take a look although they were very busy. I brought both my vehicles to them and they screwed up my brakes on one vehicle and now my other vehicle is leaking oil because they rethreaded the bolt and I had to have another company try to fix it , if it doesn't work in have to pay someone to put a new oil pan in . I never ever complain on Yelp but this is just ridiculous and I feel people should know . Oh ya and when the brakes on my truck went out 2 months after I had them replace with rotors by the way . I brought it back and the owner tried to act like it was me who ruined them , yet I never drive that vehicle and drove maybe 500 miles with that vehicle in two months and it's a $70,000 vehicle !! And I had to pay someone else to fix there mistakes , I will not be returning to this place again . I hope they fix these problems as having no breaks and a leaky oil pan will put people at danger . read more

I have a 2000 corvette that had a mis-aligned exhaust. I stopped by the Indio Midas and spoke with Rudy in regards to what could be done. He told me what they could do to correct the problem and so I told them to give it a try. They removed my crooked exhaust, remounted some brackets and lined everything up. Now the exhaust looks close to perfect and it was all done in just about and hour for a very reasonable price. I am extremely happy with the work Rudy, and all the guys at Midas did with my Corvette. Raul and the guys that work here are wonderful! Took me on an hours notice. They were able to do a temporary fix on a lane departure system warning light that has been on constantly for a year, and Coachella Valley Buick said they couldn't fix because their diagnostic system showed nothing wrong. I took my 1930 Packard into Midas for a full service and a list of other items that needed attention. After a reasonable time I was called that the car was ready. When I got there Raul went over my bill in detail, and I was pleased with the work that they did, and the amount they charged was fair for the work accomplished. They were very Nice but it seemed that when we had it checked out at the dealership they didn't do the job as well as they should have we had our headlights replaced and they took out the original Bolts and put in other different bolts they don't work quite right. I brought my other car in there and they had an accident and wrecked my bumper trim which they replaced but did a really crappy job of painting it and they use zip ties instead instead of the actual bolts to hold on the trim. I had a break job done there as well and it's great that their lifetime warranty pads but my car shakes now and it doesn't work like it should so I'm not going back there ever again read more

I use to like going here because it was so close to home, but they tried to charge me $1200 for pads and resurfacing rotors. Turns out I was able to get the same job done at the dealership for about $500. The last time they put on break pads they also did not put them on properly and the pad was set off of the rotor itself. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more
