I just wanted to reach out and leave a review based on the phenomenal experience I had at Jiffy Lube in Indio. I've always taken my car to Mazda for oil changes, and it's unbelievably expensive. For some reason I thought I was bound to going there because of my warranty. This is definitely not the truth. It may be preferred according to Mazda, but it's not necessary. I drive a 2023 Mazda CX30 Carbon Edition and the best price at Mazda with coupons is $130.00, plus I have to drive all the way to Palm Springs. I had a great experience from the beginning, through the online portal, researching services and looking for any available deals. It was super easy to sign up and get a quote. When I had arrived to Jiffy Lube, I pulled into the parking lot, parked my car and as I was getting ready to exit my vehicle, I was approached and welcomed by a representative, named Angela. I was very surprised to see a member of their team come outside to see how she could help me. I did not have a scheduled appointment, and I hadn't called to say I was on my way, so when I was greeted at my car door I thought it was awesome. Angela was very kind, her demeanor was pleasant, she is very knowledgeable, and professional. I admired her willingness, and enthusiasm in providing great customer service, while addressing the reason for my visit. I felt seen, and heard which are two very important aspects or details when I am dealing with any kind of business. Just a basic understanding of what it is that I wanted without all the extra fluff, while answering all the questions I had. The entire team were amazing, my experience was a great one and I would highly recommend anyone to take their vehicles to Jiffy Lube, Indio. I can't speak to other services aside from an oil change, but I'd be willing to bet they would do an excellent job, at a very reasonable price. I recently took my vehicle to the Jiffy Lube in Indio to get the oil changed and to get an inspection. I had the fastest, and the best customer service I have ever experienced at an auto business in my entire life. I went in today some young kid i think Ethan was his name helped told me a $100.00 for a basic oil change. I asked why so expensive he said everything has gone up. His next comment you order more services ill cut you a break. I asked about coupons he sai i can give you $10.00 off Next came a hard pressure I needed to replace my oil plug as it was stripped funny story. My truck doesn't leak oil. On Ethans comment about expenses going up, had me fuming. I am.a buyer for a living, I know what percentages the hikes have been. Looking at my receipt I got charged for a service I didn't want. First off shout out to Angela Benavidez! If you are reading this looking for shop recommendations THIS is the Jiffy Lube you want to go to, and Angela is THE person you want to see. From the moment I pulled up I was taken care of quickly and professionally. Angela quickly parsed my after work brain fog and got to the bottom of a few issues I was having with my 2020 Mustang (high mileage, wear and tear from the road, check engine light on and off repeatedly) and even though it was very nearly closing time she took the care to run a (free) diagnostic and a 360 degree visual inspection (beneath the vehicle as well) just to help me out. Honestly this is the best care I have ever received at a Jiffy Lube and if that isn't enough, in the the short amount of time I needed to wait in the lobby, other customers she had helped came in to chop it up and to say thank you for the lengths she had gone to address their issues. I walked in to inquire about an oil change. I spoke with Adrian at the front desk. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. There was at least three guys working on my truck to get it done quickly. Good service very quick. I will be back to change out my brake fluid since I have an older truck. read more

A few months ago they over tightened the oil filter housing and cracked it. When I noticed my car was leaking oil (although slowly but still leaking) I immediately took it to the dealership because it was still under warranty and at the time, I had no idea why it was leaking. After I had the full report from the dealership and the manager said 'it was absolutely their fault' I returned to be reimbursed for the $791 it cost me at the dealership. Now they are refusing to pay because they are saying I waited too long and I should've brought it back to them instead of the dealership. Instead of just moving on from this and paying me with the insurance you know they have, it looking like my only option is to sue. So, it may seem fast to get your oil changed there, but in the long run it may turn into a very long pain in the a$$. read more

Jiffy Lube is an excellent alternative to expensive car dealerships for maintenance with respect to oil changes and small engine needs . I definitely recommend this Jiffy Lube in Indio..not only do they have the car in/out in 15 minutes, but special kudos to the guys who work in 110° temperatures. Two weeks ago on a Saturday. I walked in. My car was perfectly fine. No lights on nothing. I just went in for a regular oil. Change the Lady, I believe her name is Angela. She said she was a manager, and there I called her because as soon as I drove off, my car turned off. I have a Toyota Camry 2021. Never had a problem with it. She said that it had nothing to do without oil change, and she said she would be responsible. I had to wait in the sun for over two hours for a tow truck paid $100 for the tow truck which was very cheap because it was referred by a Friend. That mechanic charge me $350. I called her back to get my money reimbursed because it was totally their fault, and she said that was not her fault that in the paper and said exactly what she told me. It was wrong with the car. On the date of 6/17/24 Monday, I arrived at the location in Indio off hwy 111 for an oil change. After my vehicle was processed I noticed my keys were returned damaged and my keys were in perfect condition when I handed them over to the technician ( Glen ) . !! I strongly recommend not to use them !! The manager Angela Benavides was not professional and took pictures after the incident not before, also claimed they were damaged when I handed them over. ! I recently took my car to Jiffy Lube for service as I have for many years. I was promptly greeted by a service technician and was instructed to go into the waiting area. I did and soon afterwards the gentleman and the desk called me and told me the price for the service. He also told me that my oil was not guaranteed beyond 3000 miles. Huh? The car tells me when it needs an oil change and my father owned a garage where I learned about automobiles. I realize that today's cars are far more complex than years ago, but nevertheless, if Chevrolet says to wait until the system tells me to then that's the what I'll follow. He placed a statement on my file stating he advised me that 3000 miles was the max before changing the oil. Why was that necessary? It was also noted that that the oil plug was stripped. Guess who did that? Your employees when I had my last oil change. Furthermore, they did not check air tire pressure. The day after leaving the station, I received an alert that the air was low in both my rear tires. I enjoy going to Jiffy Lube and have for many years. I hope these issues are resolved for the next client. read more

Went in two weeks after getting my oil changed by a different company. Found out my oil filter was loose and spraying oil EVERYWHERE under the car. Their mechanic tightened the filter, and filled my low coolant reservoir. Just that quick they earned a new customer!!! read more

The most disappointing, unfathomable oil change experience, and then they ghosted me when requested multiple times for their insurance information given the damage they caused and admitted but now don't want to take responsibility for. We drove over a plastic bag that then got sucked into and wrapped around the differential. A one in a million chance of that happening.
