Would give zero stars if I could. Where do I start? During an oil change I was told by the lady at the front that two of my new (3 month old ) calipers were leaking and only way to fix it would be replacing them . Also there's a nail in the sidewall of my tire so it would have to be replaced. Guess what I get a second opinion and none of these things are true!!! After I ordered a part online and have to pay $30 to ship it back . Only one o-ring needed replacing and the tire I bought already wasn't needed either , because the one with a nail was repairable and wasn't on the sidewall at all!! They lost all the plastic tabs that hold the cover under my hood too out of sheer laziness to put them back . Could've resulted in it dropping into the fan and causing damage , but maybe that was the intention . Never ever going here again , I used to get all my oil changes there and trusted them but I was proven wrong. If you're going to tell someone something make sure you are speaking facts before the words come out because it makes you look like an illegitimate business. read more

I have been dealing with Eric ( Store Mgr.) for 18 months and the experience has been phenomenal and spot on. Eric and his team have always done a great job on servicing all of my vehicles from checking and, changing engine, transmission, radiator, and brake fluids. Also ,rotating tires, checking braking pads and front end alignments. There are no other garages that are that thorough without charging you a lot more. When Eric and his team have uncovered any issues with my vehicles in the past they have always given me the option to have it done their or somewhere else. I have always opted Midas of Everett because he is extremely honest, priced competitively and provides Excellent Service. I will continue to bring all my vehicles to Midas in Everett and refer friends because Eric understands the true definition of Great Customers Service. I can't say enough about the way I was treated here. One day I was driving to get dog food on my lunch break when my Land Rover started making this horrible clunking noise and was clearly overheating. I pulled into the first place I saw which was Midas. I went into the office and explained the situation. The person at the desk (I think her name was Christy) said it would be a little while before they could get to it and asked if that was ok. I told her that i was on my lunch break and asked if anyone might be able to run out and look at it really quickly. She grabbed a rag and said "I don't really work on cars but let me take a look." She came right out to my car with me and after looking under the hood for a minute said she would put some more coolant in it and I should let it cool down and come back in a bit. I knew I had a crack in one of the coolant containers and she filled it right up. I got back in the car a few minutes later it was totally fine! Christy completely saved the day! She went out of her way to help me so that I could finish my errands and get back to work on time. Amazing! read more

I wanted an alignment for my new tires but Les Schwab was busy so I went to Midas on Everett Mall Way. Midas wanted to replace the upper and lower ball joints for the grand total of $641. "No no no" I said. Andy's Auto Repair in Mountlake Terrace looked at it and the left lower ball joint was a little loose so they aligned it and did not need to replace any ball joints. Total: $93. Worth the wait, Andy's was booked up 1.5 weeks in advance. After I posted this on Facebook, a friend said its a common scam. read more

Tried to get service from them on Satruday, Jan. 26, 2019, after work around 5pm, but instead received one of the worst experiences ever. First off entering i was not even greeted, but glared at by the old man standing at the counter. First red flag that I would be treated poorly, however I continued to approach the counter. I still was not greeted nevertheless I tried to explain that we needed help with our truck, adviced the engine light was on and that we did not know what was wrong, obviously because we go to auto shops for inspection/help right? Still the older man simply interrupted me and told me i needed to take it back to where I got the battery changed because thats probably what is wrong with it. I then asked probably? So are you not going to inspect it? Well I could do it but its just going to say it will be the battery. He had the worst attitude, not helpful, not welcoming, not even a tid bit polite, he simply just did not want to give me service. This older man was simply rude and I just dont know why, maybe he was having a bad day maybe he just enjoys giving others a bad day, whatever his reason was he simply made me feel discriminated. I mean does he have super powers that without even looking at our truck he knew exactly what we should do? Is that the type of service Midas gives all their customers? Is it ok to treat people like crap at this company? I will not be returning here, i will not be recommending them to anyone specially since no service was even received. But i will be telling everyone who needs auto service how truly rude and insensitve this Midas employee was. I wish i would of taken down his name, but i just left in such a hurry and upset by his treatment of me that i just wanted nothing else to do with that place. I hope he gets some trainging on how to treat people in general, or he needs to leave customer service field. read more

I went to MIDAS to get a second opinion on what I had already been quoted on although MIDAS did ring in way under the Bar their price was half of what I was qouted from another place.But the guy that was working in the front office that gave me the quote said that he was going to cut me a break and only charge me a half hour labor which was like $44 dollars to clean my slides which are metal peices in your front calliper so i thought for a minute well thats cool and as I sat in the chair and notived the big sign on the wall that advertises what is included in the break package well the third DOT down said clean slides or back plates so I told the guy that is says on the sign that it is included he said NO its not and walks over to the sign and looks closely and says "where"? I said the third DOT down he said oh yah i see it and said "Oh thats cool for you save you fifty bucks" But he did not have the best attitude so I am just saying MIDAS had better prices but just make sure that you know what you are paying for and what is included in packages or you might be being charged twice and not even know it read more

I took my truck in to have the front rotors turned. I'm a mechanic by trade and I know that is the only issue with the front brakes. I didn't have time to do the job myself so I took it in to have it done since they could get me in on my way to Bellingham. When I got there I was told they absolutely had to go on a test drive regardless of my protest. My truck is extensively modified and is not easy to drive even with however many years of expertise they have. With the time, effort and money I have invested in my truck I asked if I could go along on the test drive not feeling comfortable leaving it to a complete stranger who insisted on driving it with no real reason to. I was told that "He goes alone" and there was no way I could possibly go along in MY VEHICLE!!! Apparently this is some sort of new age truck talking technique where the customer isn't allowed to be around to see what goes on. I don't know what they needed to hide from me during the test drive but I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. They mentioned something about the rotors having bearings in them and it was going to be an extra hour of labor to turn them if they had those particular ones. There is no such thing on my truck... I'll be pulling them myself next week and turning them down at my trusted shop in Bellingham. They wanted $200 to do both rotors, I can buy brand new ones for half that much with just one hour of my time. read more
