They gouge you with their prices. I had my breaks done pads and rotors . They charged me 1100.00. Ok they were due so I needed my spark plugs done and it would be around 400.00 for four plugs. That cost 13.00. Each. Then I thought to replace starter coils also just in case. At the auto parts store they range from 135. To 225. Just to use their labor it would range from 104.00 to 500.00 I will not recommend them ever again. I already sent them 10 people who also said the same. read more

My son and I frequently use this shop for both of our cars. Recently, as I was trying to leave Denver to make an out of state trip, I discovered one of my tires had a slow leak. I went to three different places to get a patch, but none had the labor to fix it. At Midas, Steve the Service Manager, got me right in and my tire patched quickly. I visited this location in the beginning of August. At that time I was told that I need new struts, strut mounts and shocks. I had these parts special ordered from my mechanic. He replaced them because they were not returnable parts but notified me that they were not bad and had a lot of life left in them. At that time I was also told (and could hear from the squeaking) that my breaks were actually bad. Midas did not notify me that my breaks were bad. I am highly disappointed at this store and down $1100 for shocks and struts that I did not need. read more

Only reason they get three stars is because the employee was very courteous and nice and they were quick. Went in for an oil change and OF COURSE my car had "other issues". He explained the issues which came out to $450+, and all of them seemed a little fishy to me. The customer who I was seated next to in the waiting room (oil change only as well) had his "issues" explained to him about 2 min before me and they tried to get over $800 out of him. He laughed, said he had his car serviced at the dealer 3 months prior, paid, and left. Smart man. Needless to say I had my car looked at, at a smaller shop and they said the "issues" were actually "non-issues". Long story short, Midas is a corporate company, so just expect that they are going to make a mountain out of any tiny mole hill issue that your car has. But if you can stomach the BS "your car has ______ issues" spiel, they offer a quick oil change for a decent price. Side Note: I held back some serious laughter when the charge to get the replacement part from the auto part store to Midas later that afternoon was $50+. I won't name any names because they were probably brain washed into believing what corporate tells them to say but I just called around for brake prices and was alarmed at the response. Nameless- "We don't give quotes over the phone and anyone who does is just spitting numbers at you they know nothing about". Me- What? You can't tell me how much front pads on my specific truck with the rotters turned would be? Him- No that's why we offer free inspections. Don't take your vehicle here. They are trying to get you to bring your car to them so they can sell you on getting it fixed there. Just like every time you go to grease monkey. Have you ever been quoted just the f'n oil change price? No, salesmen. Not touching any car I ever own. Thought maybe times have changed so I booted up the ol' Google machine and looked up brakes, good locations, and scams, blah, blah, blah. One of the first things you see is "top 10 brake/auto scams". This is from that article. Once you find a shop that carries brand-name parts, ask for a price quote over the phone. Any reputable shop will provide a fairly firm quote that includes machining the rotors, replacing the slide pines and installing high-quality pads and hardware. Shops don't need to see the vehicle to provide a price--a break job isn't brain surgery. If a shop balks at providing a phone quote, call a different one. Ha! A few days later corporate gives me generic response. You don't need to fix anything Midas, just keep being you and you will weed yourself out. read more

I ran over a giant industrial sized nail and went to Firestone and Goodyear and they didn't have time to even look at my car and said I could make an appointment for the next week. When I called Midas they said to bring it in and they will fix it right away. AND they didn't even charge me?!! They were quick and so nice. I don't write reviews as much as I used too but this place deserves one for sure! This Midas is not only ran by two honest men Mason and Steve but is one of the best shops I've been too in awhile. As a native New Yorker from NYC I've been looking for a home where I can take my vehicle too when it needs work and after months of searching which has been since April I've finally found this shop and these guys not only are they honest and have awesome prices they have a fantastic team and understand what it like to be in a financial tough corner and will work with you on the price and do what they can to help you out within the scope of their abilities. As a college student a full time employee/ adult who is only 28 it's hard to do all that and manage my own life at times and these guys get that and I appreciate that alongside the honestly, accountability and realness. My steering wheel has been shaking for at least six months; if I was actually counting it has probably been a lot longer. It should have been a priority however I'm an award winning procrastinator (gold medal all the way)! The BF worries for my safety and I've been putting off taking the car in for a while. I opted for Midas since I had a $20 oil change coupon and I figured I needed one of those as well. The coupon also included a tire rotation and visually checking my brakes and I really wanted a status on my brakes since I've punched holes through my rotors in the past and I don't want that expense again. (See where my procrastinating gets me) My experience at Midas was wonderful from the minute I entered the door, friendly staff and helpful with all my car needs. After the full once over on my car a gentleman came and sat down to me in the lobby and explained everything I needed and why. Turns out I needed two new tires (one of them had two nails), full alignment, air filters, and a couple other major things. I didn't opt for all the services they recommended and was not pressured into doing them either. He communicated the major more time sensitive items and told me the things I could wait on which I appreciated. For what I had done the price was fair and the service was impeccable. They were all pretty positive, so I decided to give it a go. I come back to pick up my car and 3 new lights including the check engine light are on. They try to charge me $160 to "diagnose it" when I challenge the representative he says let's run it for free and go from there. I recorded the whole thing. They run the scan and the worker is like "ma'am it says it's your gas lid" I open my gas tank and THEY HAD UNSCREWED MY GAS CAP TO MAKE MY LIGHT COME ON AND THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME! I've been bringing my car to the Nissan dealership for years to get regular servicing. I was sick of driving so far to the closest Nissan dealership every time I needed something done. I was a little hesitant to go to Midas, but they were great. I called the day before I wanted to bring my Murano in, and they fit me in no problem. They also got the maintenance done the same day. They were so friendly and helpful that I brought my brother's car in to have them check out the a/c which wasn't working. Turns out that it was an expensive fix, and they suggested it might not be worth the cost of the repair considering the age of the car. NOT Trustworthy!!!! Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Went in to get two new tires and an alignment. Said they would order the tires and I could get them put on the next day. I went in the next day and was told they didn't order the tires and I would have to wait two more additional days until they did after I was told they could get it done. When confronted with their error they would not even apologize for their mistake and that I would just have to be at their mercy if I wanted tires. These guys were fast, honest, and very helpful. They looked my car over and let me know what they found during the oil change. When I asked if anything was a problem, he said, "Nah, I mean you could try to get it into perfect shape, but what's the point? It's got 109,000 miles; you can't make it into a new car. So just keep an eye on everything and get regular oil changes and such." Other car places had suggested I fix every minor leak or issue (for a high price, of course). It was so refreshing to hear a car place tell it to me straight that not everything is equally worth fixing! When I told him I was impressed with their service, he immediately handed me his personal card. It was such a nice touch. I took both of my cars to Midas and Rick walked me through the process. He was very thorough, helpful and very friendly. They ran a diagnostic on one of my cars and said that they could try and fiddle with the transmission problem but advised me to go to a place that specialized in transmission repairs. The diagnostics cost about $110, but Rick was kind enough to waive the cost since they were not able to work on my car. I will definitely be taking my car here for future maintenance! WARNING!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I took my '09 Ford Fusion in for replacement struts and shocks that needed to be replaced, there was a major rattling noise coming from the front of my car and that's what they diagnosed needed to be fixed in April of 2018. Spent $1700 to have all the work done. Picked up my car when it was done and the rattling noise it was making in the front was still there. Took it back to have them double check it, and they said now it had something to do with the sway bar. Another $100 worth of "work" after that and it was still making the same awful rattling noise. 6 months later I finally decide to take it to a certified Ford mechanic hoping it wasn't the same issue, and maybe something else that Midas missed. They explained to me that the front struts that had been recently replaced by Midaswere installed improperly and needed to be replaced AGAIN!!! Which is costing me another $900. This is not over. When the work is done from my Ford mechanic, I will be contacting corporate and getting a full refund for the shotty work they performed on my car. Totally unethical business and I will never go back. To be continued. Ive been using midas branches now for general and prevention maintenance since 2013. This particular branch is outstanding. They have, more than once, seen me without apointments in order to emergency repairs and their staff is always very understanding, and accommodating, as well as genuinely concerned for their customers safety. They have twice done maintenance for free for me when they saw it, to include tightening my belts, replacing bolts, and replacing a valve in my tire.
