Nice dive bar style kind of place. Food is pretty good, especially their appetizers for a hangover!

We love it here! Great spot for a quick drink and appetizer or for a whole meal. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to allergies. Following all Covid protocols. Their specialty cocktails are really good! We recommend the wings and nachos. Huge portions and good prices. read more

Go for the decor and atmosphere more than food. We went for an early dinner (6pm) on a Saturday and there was a 30 min. wait--a good sign. The place was hopping, totally full, a mix of old and young (at that hour). It's an Irish pub on a grandiose scale (i.e., an Irish-American pub). Lots on the very tall walls to evoke Ireland and Irish Americans. All of which we loved. But the food, we wouldn't go back for that, just beers. (Though I was disappointed they didn't carry Murphy's Irish Stout--they must be Kerry men.) Except for the nachos, which were big, delicious, and cheap, the food was overpriced and lacking in flavor entirely. The corned beef dinner and the fish and chips weren't bad, but they weren't that good either. Neither of us finished our meals. If you were just looking for sustenance and not to enjoy eating, it would be adequate. But at those prices, the standards are higher. The service on the other hand, was excellent. We were well taken care of, even with a full house. read more

my fiance and i recently had dinner here and our experience was great. the bar is nice and large, and there was some availability, so we chose to sit there. we were greeted pretty promptly, and received our drinks quickly. we were both starving, so we ordered an appetizer of the honey buffalo wings. i'm a lover of wings, and order them everywhere. i've seen a bunch of wing sauce flavors, but never honey buffalo. the sauce was delicious- spicier (in a good way) than i expected, and a great mellow sweetness to round it out. the wings themselves were big, juicy, and beautifully cooked. even the blue cheese dressing was exceptional- clearly made in-house. my fiance got a crock of chili which had good flavor, but was a bit watery, and didn't quite come together as a cohesive chili. the tortilla chips served with it were abundant, but felt a bit stale. he got the chicken parm sandwich with fries for his main course. the sandwich was phenomenal. you can tell that the "hand breaded chicken" actually was. the flavor of the marinara was good, and the french bread was on point in texture, and there wasn't too much of it. my only criticism is that his fries were hot, but... limp. not soggy, just not crispy. i got the corned beef reuben with cole slaw. the corned beef was out of this world. super tender, smoky, salty- it was SO. GOOD. the cole slaw was equally excellent. nice and creamy without being too drippy. this is one of my favorite new go-to spots. i just wish we lived a little closer. definitely get the wings. read more

Cold food. Slow service. Nobody seemed to care. Went on mother's day and won't be back again. Sad because I thought this was a good find. Also I think the A/C is not working. The Red Sox were on and most TVs had soccer on. read more

I had to stop for lunch and this place was a very good choice we got in there and got seated right away and then we ordered and the food came out very fast there are many TVs and there is a good vibe in there I would recommend eating here read more

Very hard to judge on this one, i was there with a bachelor party so very difficult to gauge pricing, but what i will say is we tried a bunch of different foods and it was all excellent. It is only pub grub, but its done well. I had the fish and chips and was impressed, the fish was very tasty, fresh, white and flaky with crisp chips and slaw. My friends had a grilled chicken wrap that was also outstanding, wings that looked awesome, fish taco's that also looked incredible, and some of the best looking burgers i've seen. Menu items include traditional Irish food like shepherds pie, corned beef and cabbage, but also some excellent new cuisine items (like the fish taco's etc) As for the place itself it is huge. Large indoor bar and an even bigger outdoor seating area with a huge bar, an excellent place to hang in summer or before a game just down the road at Gillette Stadium. Staff were great inside, the girls outside, not so much, perhaps they were a little stressed with our party of 20 showing up, but they were not very friendly or engaging, maybe they were too busy....... Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot and of course a great location will ensure this place will do well during any events down the road. read more

Went with my wife and 2 kids for my maiden run to Mick Morgans. Wasn't disappointed. Had a big cup of clam chowder that was delicious. Also had Shepards Pie which was super tasty. Wife got chicken carbonara that was pesto based and was really great. Kids chicken fingers were excellent too. Only knock is my server was super slow but giving benefit of the doubt here. Will definitely be back. Definitely what the Sharon area needs as we are woefully short on good pubs and diners! read more

Well..Have been here a half dozen times between with both the Family and the "Boys" Really can't say I've had a bad experience. Food was always good...hot and timely...service was always with a smile and attentive but not overbearing. The only negative thing I can think of was it is a LOUD atmosphere when goin' out with the boys. Other than that...prices were high end..all in all have had good times there...at times it's better than Patriots Place .Always have left a 20% tip...Will probably go back when it's turn comes up in the rotation read more

I regret every time I try to eat here. I walk into a sorority scene trying to get a table as I see 5 waitresses all hanging out behind the hostess. We ask to sit outside and there is only a few other tables. We are put into a sea of empty chairs and tables where we wait for our server to arrive. As I listened to terrible music blaring out of the speaker right next to my head and folded my napkin to stabilize my wobbly table I noticed the food stuck to my fork from the last person who used it. Two tables were sat and they were given drinks and their orders were taken as we sat there all alone. We finally got fed up and left and went down the street to Texas Road House. That food was delicious and I would give them 5 stars. If it was up to me I would not even give them one star. read more

Visited on a nice Saturday afternoon. Outdoor seating is available but chairs were slightly uncomfortable. But it was nice to sit outside. Had the clam chowder which was delicious but a little thicker than i like. Sandwiches were good. Service was fast and friendly. Presentation of food was nice. Overall a good experience and i would definitely go there again. read more

I was there a couple nights ago and the food was great, hosts and servers were beyond excellent, but the manager Neil was beyond rude. He was rude to his employees infront of my husband and I, we were horrified. Very uncomfortable environment when Neil is there. We will not be coming back to Mick Morgan's because of this asshole. read more

I'll start off by saying I love the environment at this restaurant and the food is phenomenal. The service however, is a completely different story. I have been going to the restaurant for years and not once have I ever gotten decent service from a server. They never check on their tables or bring anything in a timely manor. Today for example, every time we ordered a beer and received it we immediately ordered another beer. The next beer wouldn't come until far after we were done. The patio is amazing, great bar and sunny tables, but you need to be prepared to stay for multiple hours longer than you planned. read more

Floor manager Jeannie is a true professional! Very knowledgeable and professional. Was extremely thoughtful in stopping by our table to verify our experience was excellent. BTW, my server Sophia M was equally skilled at her trade. She suggested those honet wings as an app and they are the best Ive ever hsd -perfect. The cobb salad with chilen was crisp and perfectly balanced. The Blue Moon drafts were perfect temp and garnished with orange. Excellent meal. Excellent service. Excellent floor management! Cant wait to return to Mick Morgans. read more

The hostess staff repeatedly sat customers arriving after we had. They told us the wait would be 10 minutes. 45 minutes later when I inquired about a table I got a shoulder shrug and was told "we don't know how people eat". We decided to walk as she could not tell me when a table would be ready. Terrible customer service. I will not be back. read more

So I came to Mick Morgan's for brunch on a Sunday and unfortunately they were super short staffed, not a big deal so we wait longer. Had a fly in on of our coffee cups, no big deal things happen. I ordered 4 eggs with rye toast and avo and apparently that costs 22$ because they don't have 4 eggs on the menu... which is a lie. And they couldn't do anything about it. So I paid 30$ for a shitty breakfast and slow service. Not recommended read more

We stopped here prior to attending a wake in Walpole. Very nice place inside. We ordered for a Starter-the Skins-Half potatoes, fried, bacon and cheese. Sour cream. (6)-Skins for $11.00 a little $$ for a Starter, and for late lunch-(2)-Blt's-Bacon, tomato, lettuce, garlic mayo, multi grain bread, with steak fries $10.00ea, $$. Very good but not for the price! For Drinks I ordered (2)-Captain & Cokes, Cost-$8.00ea in a small glass very pricy!!, the most that I have ever paid for a mixed drink ever!! Will not be back here when in the area!!! read more

Lots of parking. Nice patio and bar. Sports on tv 80s music playing. Lots of choices for food and drinks. Prices are ok. Service a-ok. I don't know why the chicken tenders are famous but the honey mustard sauce is what I liked. The cheese on the chilli helps, but the chives, onions, peppers mixed in and the tortilla chips didn't help overall it was average. I will have to try the meatloaf, shepherds pie, and maybe the fish and chips (haddock). I know I'll be back. read more

This used to be my boyfriend and I's favorite local spot, but this is just not the case anymore. We went to Mick Morgan's about a month ago and had a very mediocre lunch with downright awful service, but returned again a couple of weeks ago to enjoy dinner on the patio. It was a late dinner on a Sunday night, and the hostess informed us that the kitchen would be closing in a half hour. The waitress came over to take our drink order (two beers), and we told her we'd only probably need about a minute before placing our order. 10 minutes went by, no drinks, 15, nothing.. finally, 20 minutes had gone by. At this point, I could only imagine that, even if she did show up, the cooks would have to rush our order. We decided to leave, told the hostess sorry for bailing on our undelivered drinks but we weren't sticking around any longer to find out if we'd receive service. She didn't apologize or anything, just said "oh, okay," and that was that. read more

Great Irish Pub! Beer is cold, food is hot. What more do you need? Try their home brew, it's good enough... Can't wait for nicer weather when the deck opens and customers are allowed out there with food and drink. Sharon desperately needed a place line this. Thanks to the owners for bringing it to our small out of the way town! read more

We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was a huge success. We had several guests with gluten allergies/celiac disease and they went above and beyond to accommodate their needs. The food here is always excellent and they have great drinks as well. If you have a special event and you're looking for a casual place to host it, Mick Morgan's can't be beat. Private, great food and an awesome staff. read more

Hooray for Mick Morgan's. I can hardly believe this place used to be Bickfords back in the day! We've been looking for a good local place where we can have a good meal, a beer and watch sports. There was a good crowd for a Wednesday night. The servers were friendly thought it took a while to get our beer orders. We only waited about 10 minutes to get our food. We had the shephard's pie and the fish & chips. Both were delicious. I hope they can keep up this quality because we'd love to be back on a regular basis. read more

A welcomed surprise during a recent work trip to Foxboro. The Irish bartender was surprised to see an Okie in his bar. I took his recommendations on the Corned Beef sandwich on Texas toast, steak fries, and a Harpoon IPA. Great late night dinner for a weary traveler. read more

Ate at Micks with a group of 8 on July 6th, 2018 and all were disappointed with the food. Meatloaf very over cooked, potatoes cold, meat not cooked as ordered and other issues. Okay, so it was my bad to order a salad at an Irish Pub, but the greek salad had 2 huge chunks of red onion core in it, and it did not contain a single black olive or pepperoncini, as advertised on the menu. I am not the type to send food back so maybe it was a rare oversight, but for $11.95 (including grilled chicken) it was a complete waste of money. Maybe their other entrees are better, but I wouldn't go back since it looks like they aren't true to their menu. read more

What an awful place. Service was slow, utensils and table were dirty and my niece got food poisoning from the chicken tenders. Terrible experience. read more

I enjoy going to mick Morgan's with the guys after work or the family. Everyone is always nice. Problem is when your one of the biggest irish establishments in the area you must have Irish music on st. Patrick's day!!!! Spent a couple of disappointing hours there yesterday listening to a band covering Dave Mathews band songs. Only bit Irish was one of the staff walking through the bar playing the bagpipe. Also limited menue which I understand. But prices 40% more than normal. Won't be back next st Patrick's day. Will find someplace with Irish music read more

Probably the worst meal we have had since moving to the area. Portions not worth the $ and flies dive bombing us inside. The waitress said she would talk to the manager. Sure- never happened. No manager to get our feedback. Never again! Don't bother! read more

Mick Morgan's - Fried Haddock and fries $15. Most pathetic portion I have seen anywhere near Boston. - Irish Pub Near Me - Sharon, Massachusetts

Was a little disappointed at the lack of Irish menu but what a great pub otherwise. The food I had was great and my best friend is absolutely in love with the place. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. The drinks are also great and well worth it. I dig the ambiance of the place. Minus the lack of accents once you step in to this establishment you'd think you were actually in Ireland. Love the decor and liquor choices. Looking forward to going back! read more

If you have diet restrictions I do not recommend this place. I asked for a gluten free menu and was informed they don't have one but that my waitress would be helpful in aiding me. I asked the waitress if there were any gluten free option and she rolled her eyes "any of it can be made gluten free" and suggested the rice pilaf (which has pasta in it so is definitely not GF) when I let her know that rice pilaf isn't gluten free she suggested I "just get the steak tips then" she seemed very irritated and rude about the whole thing... I ended up ordering something on the specials and doctoring my order to make it gf friendly but our server was unfriendly, uncaring, VERY UNKNOWLEDGABLE TO THE POINT OF BEING DANGEROUS. The lack of sensitivity to someone's diet sensitivities is an absolute outrage in the food business. Even though my meal was delicious I won't be back because of this waitress. read more

Should maybe have given it a 5, but just isn't quite there. Good service at the bar. Had the meatloaf, very good and decent portion. Not the cheapest, but feels worth it. Wife has the coned beef sandwich and she said it was legit and one of the best she's had. Looked like home made sauerkraut. Overall a good place that would come back to. And they have a lot of TVs in the bar area.... read more

Have been to Mick Morgans several times. Fun place, love sitting outside. Usually will get appetizers or a sandwich wrap which are always delicious. Last night tried the seafood and garlic mashed potatoes per my Irish mom's suggestion. She was right the Fish was so fresh and the potatoes were perfecto! The best part of this place though is the Manager Zach. He deserves an Above and Beyond Award. He is so attentive and friendly. He really does a wonderful job managing this busy restaurant, making sure everything goes smoothly. He knows what is happening inside the kitchen and outside at the bar, he knows who is waiting and for how long. His young staff are equally friendly and also aim to please. read more

Although we've only checked in few times, we've eaten here many more times than our list shows. Over time, the food has turned from good to just OK. The place is not a chain, but it takes on that appearance and taste over time. The kids like the fish and chips and the salads are OK. No other menu item is worth calling out as memorable or repeatable. I think we're done here for a while. read more

I give this place four stars for: the huge outdoor patio and really cool outdoor bar, the nice decor, the cute Irish bartender, and pretty good drink selection! Why I don't give it a 5th star: it wasn't all that busy and still it felt like we weren't being paid attention to (then again, it is kind of a massive place) ...the nachos were kind of gross, with too much cheese and weak dipping sauces (don't get the guacamole, it's not guacamole. It's soupy green mush). But it's a good place to grab a drink and (probably) other apps than the nachos on a Thursday night. Maybe the Newton location is better...I'll have to try. read more

We went to Mick Morgans on a Saturday night, it was packed. After a short wait, less than 15 minutes, we were seated in a cozy booth in the corner. Bonus points for having the Stanley Cup Finals on several TVs. The noise level was lower than many restaurants even though it was crowded, which I appreciated quite a bit. I had the surf and turf special. The scallops were tasty and tender. The steak was good, if a tad more medium than medium rare. Service was excellent. Our waitress and the kitchen took care of my dairy issues and went above and beyond to accommodate me. I would definitely return another time. read more
