First, they gave me the wrong size frame, and I had to replace it. When placing the order for the correct size, I made it very clear that I was leaving Rhode Island in two weeks and wouldn't be coming back. They assured me the glasses would be ready in 10 days, saying that was the "worst-case scenario." It's now well past that, and they still have no idea when my frames will be delivered to the store (they say they can't track when they will be delivered). The lack of communication has been frustrating, with no clear answers or updates. While delays happen, being promised a specific timeframe under important circumstances and then being left in the dark is unacceptable. I expected much better from a large company like LensCrafters. If you're on any sort of schedule or want reliable customer service, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. I do not recommend doing business with this store. Period! Update: The glasses finally arrived at my house via UPS a couple of days ago (after a month) and guess what? They are defective (the right hinge is loose and crocked). I went to LensCrafters in my area to get service (as I was promised I could get service at any LensCrafters in the US), and they told me the glasses are unfixable and not in stock!
