Dr. Fargnoli was very interested in what I had to say about my vertigo and the visual disturbances I've been having. He's incredibly easy to talk to about just about anything. His staff is also incredibly nice. I got stuck in traffic one day and ended up an hour late. They weren't annoyed or anything and squeezed me right in. The office is pretty much an all-in-one. Dr. Fargnoli is also a Lasik eye surgeon, so you have that, and they also have a pretty big glasses shop. I thought I'd be paying more for glasses because it was a private shop and not LensCrafters, but it turned out to be the same price I would have paid anywhere else (and with a much hipper selection). Dr. Fargnoli didn't push me into glasses, which was nice, he said my vision was pretty good, but if I wanted them for night driving, I could get them. Overall, I'd tell anyone who needs an eye doctor around Providence to go here.

I overhear the lady next to me who states she's been here since 130p. Gee thanks! Where was my phone call asking to reschedule? So after listening to this phone call and being ignored another office personnel walked by and I asked her if he was behind she said yes 1.5 hrs behind!!! DON'T COME HERE!!! unless you like waiting hours for your appointment!! The worse Drs office I have ever been too!!!

I was 10 min early but I got to see the eye doctor 10-15 min pass my appt time, which is pretty normal I guess. The exam is good and I love everything he did because he is quite thorough and he showed me what is what. After the test I was able to go check on glasses, what glasses to get etc and I got a few choices. I decided on one pair and they said to wait 7-10 days but it was about 3 weeks before they gave me my glasses. I have called once a week, and they said no, on the third week when I called they told me it came it earlier but we tried calling and no one answered.. what... anyway good place but not so sure about the glass shop..

It's also the same building where I see my dermatologist and rheumatologist, and about a 15-20 minute walk from where I am, so really a plus. The experience here was pleasant. There was one other person ahead of me so the wait time wasn't bad. Dr. Cesaro here is really awesome, you know he knows what he's doing. This was a nice change from the other place I was going to (I will probably write a review about that later. Long story short, avoid mall optical shops at all costs). The person who had helped me select styles was Mary Ann, who also knows exactly what she's doing and tells you honestly what she thinks works well with a person's face. A breathe of blatant fresh air when you compare that to the sales associate at Lenscrafters that tries to push you to buying something that looks nice without regard to accommodation. Obv, I don't speak for all Lenscrafters, just from the experience I've had. They were nice enough to take notes on the styles that I kept in mind for later visits. I did eventually come back recently to try them on again but decided not to make a purchase. (really the price for what I had choosen was out of my range... $200 for frames, $130 for regular lenses, or $180 for poly carbonate lens which are thinner and less heavier). These were brand name Coach eyeglasses, not a big shocker. As much as I loved them I had to depart from them and call around for better deals. So, all in all great staff here. It would be 4 stars had it not been for steeper price range. Nonetheless great styles if you're willing to pay for the price.

Just a few things to note, so buyer beware:…read more -I went in for a routine, annual eye exam, which is 100% covered by my healthcare insurance. However, this was billed as a "diagnostic" exam since the provider "found" dry-eye syndrome, something I never complained of or has trouble with. Result: $30 co-pay -A prescription for glasses or contact: An additional $60 -A "contact lens fitting assessment" (considered to be 'cosmetic') even though this has not changed in year. Result $70 Total Bill for an routine eye exam: $160 Be VERY skeptical of this place. I understand the contact lens fitting charge, as I have paid for that in the past, but the other two (2) charges are pure 'junk fees'. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this place.

Good luck getting a hold of anybody or your medical records. The actual physicians are excellent, but the practice is horrendously-run. I couldn't fathom going back after the breath of fresh air that is my current eye doctor. Oh, and since I couldn't cancel my appointment because I switched providers and wasn't able to let them know (ya know, because they don't answer the phones), suddenly they're calling and emailing. No thanks.

The staff are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions and concerns throughout the entire process. I'd describe the surgery itself like a slightly more complex eye exam. I opted to go with lasik over PRK, after talking with Dr. Rose (who is absolutely outstanding) and I was seeing clearly just a few hours later! Never once did I feel pressured or under informed. I finally went and asked how long it was going to take for me to be seen. They told me I was next. I asked "how long does that mean, I have been waiting almost an hour" they just said "You are next" again. I told them to refund my copay and I was leaving and how unprofessional they were.
