Alyssa was thorough in handling my prescription glass requirement, right to the time that they handed the pair off to me. It's the little things like the sticker to check pupillary distance. When Hazel Eye Center opened up we made the switch. First, the facility is bright and open with a few seats in a waiting area and a wall of eye glass frames. The staff here are very friendly. On our first visit we filled out the necessary information on a tablet and received a very thorough examination. My spouse and I went into the exam room together and took turns in the chair. Dr. Hazelton is very friendly and we actually enjoyed the exam. She recommended a new contact lens for me and gave a sample to try. They work well and I am happy with them. She also updated my eye glasses prescription and I purchased a new set of frames and lenses through her. They are not cheap, but as they are a designer label, they wouldn't be and my lenses are always expensive based on my prescription. This is not a surprise cost and I really like the frames. Dr. Hazelton took time to personally help me find frames I would be happy with after I told her I felt pressured into the old pair and never like the way I look in them. We have called them with questions and stopped in to pick up orders and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. They are a small business and sometimes we have to leave a message or wait for staff to come out of the exam room which we understand and don't mind. We are happy with our change of eye doctor. There is plenty of parking in front of and to the side of their office. They are located right where Bald Hill road turns into Quaker lane across from the Stop & Shop/Cowesett Corners Shopping Center. For a service where you essentially have to touch your eyes (for you contact wearers), feeling comfortable with the lowered risk in this sort of environment was huge. Cristina is a provider I feel that I can whole-heartedly trust with my eye care, hence why I switched to this location. She listens to your concerns, is very personable, and I leave my appointments knowing I have received individualized top-notch care. Customer service was fabulous. I called in the morning and asked for an appointment, because I was seeing a really big floater in…read moremy right eye and since I am very nearsighted, I wanted to make sure that it was just a floater and nothing serious. I was told that they don't have any availability and the next appointment would be in 4 months. All they could do was write down my number and call me in case of a cancellation (they never called). Luckily, I called another ophthalmologist practice and the receptionist there knew that a big floater combined with heavy nearsightedness could be something serious, so she gave me an appointment within an hour. It turned out it wasn't a floater, but a tear in my retina and I needed emergency laser surgery that same afternoon. I was told it that it was a good thing that I came in that same day, because had I waited any longer it could have turned into a detached retina. I cannot fathom how an ophthalmologist practice does not know that a big floater in very nearsighted people can mean a retinal tear or detachment and therefore is considered an emergency. I have never encountered a medical practice that did not make availability for emergencies or at least told the patient calling with such urgent symptoms to seek medical help elsewhere that same day. Maybe it was for the best that this office didn't have any availability for me, I have serious doubts now about their competency.

The office is very modern, clean, and organized. The technician did some tests and then I met Dr. Kriti Bhagat. Dr. Bhagat is the owner and founder of Eyediology Vision. She was very professional and friendly. My husband purchased glasses with Eyediology Vision and the staff were very helpful in the process. They really care about you feeling comfortable with the glasses. I am looking forward to my next annual visit with Dr. Kriti Bhagat.

It is difficult to park; there are only 2 spaces in the parking lot for visitors. There is on street parking if you get lucky enough to find a spot, or a pay lot not far from the building. The office itself is gorgeous! Black and white finishes, and the equipment is state of the art. The staff were very personable and friendly. Dr. Bhagat is just as friendly, took her time with me, and explained everything she was doing in layman terms, and that made my visit a great one.
