I could write a book about this company and it would be hard to believe that it was non fiction…read morebecause of all the amazing and positive comments that would be on the pages and pages contained within. Started with a simple call with Barry (Principal) about a year out and he told us he personally was available on the night of our wedding. Barry is a firecracker and the energy within him is contagious. He talked about all the things that set him apart from other event companies in the Boston area. Highest of materials from Germany on his uplighting and his pin lights. Talked about the white dance floor he has and what makes it different than others. We got a price from him and told him we would get back to him. Over the next week, we reached out to a few other event companies and al a carte service providers and realized at the end of the day Barry was the way to go with one of his packages!! As soon as we were under contract with him with received a very comprehensive package to start crafting our event to be what we wanted as much as using the techniques Barry knows work.... Occasionally we got texts from Barry checking in and calls just to get to know us. He wanted to know who he was going to be representing on our special night and we loved this part of Barry. He truly cares about the people he works with and the behind the scenes work he does for an event is unbelievable. About a week before the event we had a zoom call with our event planner and Barry Tobin out the details, go over name pronunciations and song edits for first dance, spotlight dances and grand entrances. Barry wasn't checking his watch because a meeting that was supposed to be one hour was over 2 hours and left everyone ready for the day!! Barry also informed us he personally went to the venue ahead of this meeting to get a feel for the room.... It showed the day of!! Now we fast forward to the wedding day.... The venue (Danversport) gave an unrealistic get ready time for the vendors involved in this event. Barry brought his team in at pre 8am to lay the dance floor down knowing he wasn't going to have the needed time with only 1.5 hours of setup that Danversport was allowing per contract. I got videos from Barry pulling up to the venue on a bright and sunny day as he wasn't getting himself and his team ready to start "building out the box."' I used this line the entire day and still because the room we had was made stunning by the uplighting, pin lights, shinny dance floor, LED DJ station and of course the work of our amazing florist (separate review). The room was transformed and it was amazing to see the amount of people on Barry's team running around in PTE shirts setting up outside drones, video for the ceremony, Lav mics for the ceremony and music for the cocktail hour. It was unbelievable!!!! My guests are STILL talking about this wedding and we owe a major thank you to Barry and the team at PTE. The lighting was stunning in this room and it really did transform the venue from very nice to stunning!!!

Having the right DJ at your wedding can make or break your night and Raffi absolutely crushed it!…read moreI've worked in the event industry for almost 15 years at this point and Raffi's expertise and professionalism exceeded his reputation. It can be tough to read the vibes in the room and know when to switch up the beats and Raffi absolutely delivered keeping the dance floor PACKED all night! His diverse ability to go from 90 electronic to 80s pop to Middle Eastern mixes to 2000s rock songs had everyone from all ages out there having a blast! A ton of guests at our wedding commented on how well Raffi did which speaks volumes of his ability to keep everyone engaged and energetic which can be tough based on other events we've been to. We also decided to go with Raffi for the lighting and at our first look, our jaws dropped at how well he did at transforming the room into the perfect atmosphere for our special day! We cannot recommend Raffi enough and are looking for another excuse to have him MC our next event! Thanks again!

There aren't enough good things I could say about Dave Solimine! My husband and I just got married…read morethis New Years Eve and we knew one of the most important parts of our wedding was going to be the music. We just wanted all of our friends & family dancing all night long. And Dave did not disappoint whatsoever! I had discovered Dave when I was a guest at a friend's wedding that he was DJ'ing. This wedding took place 5 years ago, before I even knew my husband, but the music he played always stuck with me, so the second we were engaged, I reached out to Dave. From the very beginning he was so easy to work with, always available to answer any questions, and just over all understood what we wanted. As our day got closer, he was great with checking in with us to make sure we didn't have any last minute changes or questions. Dave not only DJ'd for our wedding reception but he also did the music for our ceremony & cocktail hour. The music was absolutely perfect! I had picked a few different songs to be played during the ceremony, and every single song was played perfectly to go with what was happening during the ceremony. After all of that he introduced our bridal party, which was HUGE, and did an incredible job. Dave also did our uplighting of our reception room, and the lighting looked awesome throughout the night. The number of guests from my wedding that have called or texted me since, couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the music played and that the dance floor was never empty the entire night. And we had over 200 guests that ranged in ages from 15-90 and when I say everyone was dancing, everyone was dancing! Dave did an incredible job! I could not have asked for a better DJ to not only DJ my wedding but DJ a huge new years eve party on top of that! We finished the night with Dave announcing the countdown which was just perfect! For anyone in the search of a DJ, look no further. Dave is so incredibly easy and fun to work with. He's available to you if you have any questions or special requests, and he plays the best dance music that all ages will enjoy!

I never once felt like they were just hired to do a job. I felt like they cared about everyone and everything going on that day. Absolutely amazing company and staff to work with! The people who were "working" the booth were incredible. They treated our guests awesomely and interacted with them in a non-overbearing manner. They never once got annoyed with the guests (especially the kids) totally taking advantage of all the costumes / props or going in for the millionth time. They were patient and incredibly with every guest that lined up for a pic. And YES, there was a line... thats how much fun it was for everyone! Guests were able to take the pics they took in the booth home with them as an additional wedding favor to remember the night. There were tons of props...TONS! So many so, that our guests were running around the reception and dancing with the props on the dance floor, and yet there were still enough for all the pics being taken in the booth. It was awesome! We got a very personalized guestbook at the end of the night with every single picture strip and a messages from each guest next to them. We also got a thumb drive with every single picture taken during the night so we were able to share the pics on FB the next day. Such a fun way of remembering how great the night was. The guestbook is so unique and fun that we keep it on the coffee table in our living room and get to re-live how much fun our day whenever we want. When we have company, they love going through the book because each time they view it, they see another awesome picture they didn't see before. What an awesome addition to our wedding day!

They handled everything with ease, calmed guests who's seating cards had blown away, got our reception rolling quickly and everyone dancing even after the ceremony started an hour and a half late, and even handled an awkward situation with a drunk wedding coordinator on behalf, professionally. They quite literally saved our wedding reception with smiles on their faces and dare I say it, joy in their heart. They were present in the moment, got the crowd involved from the beginning and had all our older family members on the dance floor til they turned the lights on and seemed as if they were having fun doing it. Their positive attitude mixed with skill and professionalism were everything you could hope for in a company and the people who hold a major part of the biggest day of your life in their hands. They have an innate sense to read crowds and deliver the perfect music based on the mood. They have such a personable and witty personalty that brings a certain calming to a very hectic wedding day. Their schedule for the timing throughout the night was flawless. From the announcements at the cocktail hour, to the entrances, to the speeches, first dances, and rest of the night, their energy was undeniable. They put their clients above all and take care of anything and everything. They put their words into actions and if they say they'll take care of you, they don't just care for you, they care for everyone there including the other vendors. We had a ton of "things" going on at our wedding, and Taylor and Chris were ready for it all. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Alison and Christina who came along for the support. Support I didn't even know I needed until my train was falling and they were so gracious to help me pin it back up. Now I call that full service! However, it's not just that they took care of everything that night, but how they did it. DJs of Boston made it their mission to make our day more than memorable for my husband and I; they made it personal which is more than I could have asked. The band was FANTASTIC, their playlist is amazing (like 300 songs - we found tons to request), they got the mood just right with quieter songs for the social hour and - after dinner - transitioned our party to a raucous, joyous, pull-out-all-the-stops dance celebration. The 3-piece horn section was amazing, the 2 singers were fantastic, and they kept the place rocking until the very last song. Our kids took over 1/2 the dance floor while the "old folks" commandeered the other half and it stayed packed all night, song-after-song. There was never that moment where everyone loses steam and sits down. As the night went on, even the single guys felt compelled to come out and join the fun. Months later, whenever the subject of our party comes up, we STILL get complements about the band. I can say in all honestly that they MADE the event!

Corey was the DJ at my wedding in August and he. was. incredible…read more Full disclosure, we were recommended Corey after our initial DJ had a family event that conflicted with our wedding day, and I was a bit nervous with changing, but I couldn't be more happy with the outcome!! Corey was so kind, professional and excellent in his role. Since the wedding, whenever we see friends and family they without fail mention (a) how great the wedding was, then closely followed (b) how amazing our DJ was. My husband, a groomsman and I met with Corey before the wedding at a bar and we went over how we wanted the wedding to feel, what kinds of music we wanted to hear and the procedure. He listened to everything we had to say and made suggestions accordingly when we were out of ideas. He was also doing our ceremony, so he found some not-as-popular songs that we requested and downloaded them for the occasion. He even found a maritime Canadian song that we loved! The day of went incredibly smoothly, with help from Corey. He never felt like he was overwhelming the wedding, absolutely zero cheesiness, and he played music that made my great aunts and my little cousins dance equally! The dance floor was jammed all night -- even on the slower songs! And Corey even gave an impromptu performance rapping Baby Got Back that had everyone on their feet. Amazing time! If anything came up over the night, like someone requested to speak or gave a song request, he would come ask me or my husband to make sure it was OK, and that was really appreciated. Corey is a really nice guy, he's a steal for the price, and he executed the wedding flawlessly. Couldn't ask for anything more and would recommend to anyone!

Happy to hire him for any future events.
