From our early planning stages, Greg provided valuable feedback on our initial song submissions in terms of what would fit best. He also did a great job pairing certain songs back to back in clever ways, and seamlessly wove in special cultural music we also wanted to hear. Greg was able to incorporate all of our "must plays," and also impressed us with the other songs he played which went over very well with the crowd and kept the energy on the dance floor high. Greg also took the time to share playlists of the exact music played throughout the ceremony and reception so that we could relive the sounds from our special day whenever we'd like. All in all Greg was great to work with, and we would highly recommend him and Beat Train Productions!

Started with a simple call with Barry (Principal) about a year out and he told us he personally was available on the night of our wedding. Barry is a firecracker and the energy within him is contagious. He talked about all the things that set him apart from other event companies in the Boston area. Highest of materials from Germany on his uplighting and his pin lights. Talked about the white dance floor he has and what makes it different than others. We got a price from him and told him we would get back to him. Over the next week, we reached out to a few other event companies and al a carte service providers and realized at the end of the day Barry was the way to go with one of his packages!! As soon as we were under contract with him with received a very comprehensive package to start crafting our event to be what we wanted as much as using the techniques Barry knows work.... Occasionally we got texts from Barry checking in and calls just to get to know us. He wanted to know who he was going to be representing on our special night and we loved this part of Barry. He truly cares about the people he works with and the behind the scenes work he does for an event is unbelievable. About a week before the event we had a zoom call with our event planner and Barry Tobin out the details, go over name pronunciations and song edits for first dance, spotlight dances and grand entrances. Barry wasn't checking his watch because a meeting that was supposed to be one hour was over 2 hours and left everyone ready for the day!! Barry also informed us he personally went to the venue ahead of this meeting to get a feel for the room.... It showed the day of!! Now we fast forward to the wedding day.... The venue (Danversport) gave an unrealistic get ready time for the vendors involved in this event. Barry brought his team in at pre 8am to lay the dance floor down knowing he wasn't going to have the needed time with only 1.5 hours of setup that Danversport was allowing per contract. I got videos from Barry pulling up to the venue on a bright and sunny day as he wasn't getting himself and his team ready to start "building out the box."' I used this line the entire day and still because the room we had was made stunning by the uplighting, pin lights, shinny dance floor, LED DJ station and of course the work of our amazing florist (separate review). The room was transformed and it was amazing to see the amount of people on Barry's team running around in PTE shirts setting up outside drones, video for the ceremony, Lav mics for the ceremony and music for the cocktail hour. It was unbelievable!!!! My guests are STILL talking about this wedding and we owe a major thank you to Barry and the team at PTE. The lighting was stunning in this room and it really did transform the venue from very nice to stunning!!!

Having the right DJ at your wedding can make or break your night and Raffi absolutely crushed it!…read moreI've worked in the event industry for almost 15 years at this point and Raffi's expertise and professionalism exceeded his reputation. It can be tough to read the vibes in the room and know when to switch up the beats and Raffi absolutely delivered keeping the dance floor PACKED all night! His diverse ability to go from 90 electronic to 80s pop to Middle Eastern mixes to 2000s rock songs had everyone from all ages out there having a blast! A ton of guests at our wedding commented on how well Raffi did which speaks volumes of his ability to keep everyone engaged and energetic which can be tough based on other events we've been to. We also decided to go with Raffi for the lighting and at our first look, our jaws dropped at how well he did at transforming the room into the perfect atmosphere for our special day!
