He took the time to answer all of our questions and address every concern, and we truly appreciated how available and willing he was to make time for us throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, Jonathan was incredibly prepared and professional. His equipment and setup helped everything transition seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour and then into the reception. But what really stood out was his ability to read the room and create exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for. One of my biggest wedding-day fears was that no one would dance, and Jonathan completely put that fear to rest! His energy had our guests ready to dance before it was even officially time to hit the dance floor. Once the reception started, the dance floor was packed all night and only cleared when the night was over and we were literally being sent home! Sheldon was awesome!! He was recommended to us by a photographer and we couldn't be happier with the recommendation. It was important to us to have music that all of our guests would enjoy (young adults, middle aged, grandparents, etc) and he absolutely was able to do that. The dance floor was full all night long. He made seamless transitions between songs and didn't do too much MC'ing (which we loved). DJ Jonathan was the best! We had originally booked Sheldon from Epic Entertainment on the recommendation of our photographer. When COVID came along we were so frustrated with the change of plans and venue we basically cancelled our wedding and were going to just have a small ceremony at my parent's house. As we began planning the ceremony, we remembered how excited we were for our day and wanted to go back to the full wedding (with a much smaller guest count). I reached out to Sheldon to hire him back and unfortunately, he had already rebooked our date. He recommended Jonathan and we are extremely grateful that we got to work with him! As soon as we rebooked, Jonathan reached out to us to introduce himself. He shared a list of popular song choices and checked in with us on the week of the wedding to finalize our details. He helped us make song selections and was able to get the exact versions of some songs we wanted. We gave him very little guidance to work with on music selections, but he still managed to keep the dance floor alive. I work in the industry and know the importance vendors play in the wedding day and am still not sure what I was thinking when I thought we could manage without a DJ. Sheldon from Epic Entertainment was the DJ for our wedding in Jamestown, RI. Working with Sheldon was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. He was extremely easy to work with leading up to our event - professional yet easy going - and on the day itself, he was absolutely phenomenal. We were really keen to make sure we didn't have a cheesy DJ -- we didn't want lots of talking or overplayed wedding songs. Sheldon got all of this right away, and adapted to our tastes perfectly. He made just the right amount of comments -- introducing toasts, announcing dinner -- so that our guests always understood what was happening. On the Wednesday before our wedding, we provided Sheldon with a lot of songs we wanted to hear during our wedding night, many of which were international songs that may have been hard to track down. Sheldon was so accommodating of the request, and it made me so happy to hear some of our favorite songs playing throughout the night. Most importantly: our wedding turned into the perfect dance party. Sheldon had family members, young and old, and all of our friends on the dance floor throughout the night. I was blown away. We extended Sheldon's time by 30 minutes because the dance floor was still packed at 11pm, and we couldn't possibly shut down the celebration without a little more dancing.
