You can hear the names pretty clearly throughout the casino, but once you're sitting in the restaurant, it's really hard to tell what names are being called. I think it would be a great idea to have a screen in the restaurant showing the names as they're called. That way, people who are eating can still see if their name is being called without having to leave their table or constantly try to listen for the announcements. Overall, I still enjoy coming here and will definitely be back. Just something I think could make the experience better for people dining at the restaurant during the sweeps.

Gambled on horse #1, the ticket was for horse #2! So we lost all those winnings. The man did apologize but it was just so disappointing. In all it was fun to go watch the horses, but I was very surprised that the outdoor bar wasn't open. It was really a beautiful day and they lost out on lots of revenue from not properly staffing for the crowds. Lastly, we went into the casino to get some food only to find out there are very few options. Pizza, burgers or Dunkin. We ordered a pizza to take back to the grand stand and it was mediocre. Kind of a sad day and we will not be rushing back again.

The room itself is gorgeous just like the rest of the resort and casino. It's very classy and classic inside, mostly white and cream decor with pops of color. We had the king suite and it was super spacious with a couch, large bathroom, bath, shower, and a nice view of the harbor. It's also very tech savvy with an ipad that controls mostly everything in the room. Beds are also comfortable and it was super clean. They have food/drinks in the fridge but you have to pay. It's nice for a little getaway and convenient if you want to sleep after playing in the casino downstairs. Plus parking is free and there's a water shuttle to Boston. Honestly a good idea for tourists too wanting to see the city. I'd stay here again!

The bar offers a decent selection of beer (bottles and draft), cocktails, martinis, and margaritas. I quickly decided on the Award Winning Chicken Tender Plate ($14.99) which was a generous portion of 8 homemade breaded chicken tenders (smothered in BBQ sauce-my choice) and fries, served with dipping sauces (housemade). I tried out bleu cheese, ranch, and sweet hot chili sauce for dipping my tenders. The chicken tenders were very hot with a firm texture, juicy, and slightly chewy. We parked, toured the casino, grabbed a sandwich and took advantage of the clean restrooms. We were at the Riverside park when it started sprinkling, so went back to parking garage. We found out they had a free party going upper level of garage with a cover band. We listened to the band, grabbed some food hot off the grill for a reasonable price and prepared to view the fireworks from the cover of the garage. Mother -Nature had other plans, weather turned nasty, band shut-down, and for safety we were moved to lower levels. We still saw the fireworks and exiting afterwards was not terrible. The Staff from Security to Food Venders were polite and helpful the whole evening. They saved our families 4th of July in Springfield.
