From the rich history of the building itself (which has been preserved beautifully)to very knowledgeable owners ( Peggy and Glenn) whom made our wedding reception planning a breeze. We would highly recommend this venue for any event! Peggy was very accommodating and extremely helpful during our planning and organized our vendors so we didn't have to. And if that's not enough both her and her husband Glenn even helped us decorate as well as clean up after the wedding was over! Who does that?! We still hear praises from our weddings guests about how gorgeous Exchange Hall is and how much they enjoyed the atmosphere. Look no further, Exchange Hall is not only gorgeous but is run by very talented owners! Bravo!

When we began planning and search for New England venues in 2025, we knew we wanted a venue that reflected the beauty of Massachusetts and could handle several loud happy families in a big celebration. From the step 1, the Barn at Gibbet Hill's wedding coordination team made the planning process so painless - recommending top vendors from the area, ensuring we had all our ducks in a row on time, and supporting us towards reaching a perfect plan for our wedding ceremony on reception. We had friends who previously got married at Fruitlands Museum, not too far from the Barn, so we knew about the incredible food first and foremost. If you've not eaten from any of the venues under the Webber Restaurant Group, you need to. For a reception of 165+ guests, we were blown away by the quality of our meals. Additionally, I have a serious nut allergy and many of our friends and family carry varying food preferences/allergies. They were extremely accommodating in hosting a completely nut-free wedding, catering the menu exactly to our needs so that no one had to stress at all the whole day. During the reception, Claire, myself, and all our guests were given tremendous care and service the entire night. The venue is gorgeous this time of year, but I don't think there's a single season of the year you couldn't get amazing views and atmosphere at the Barn.

It's everything we wanted in a venue and the sunset view is the cherry on top. One of the many wonderful things about Harrington Farm is no matter what time of year it is, it's a gorgeous venue inside and out. The Harrington Farm staff gave us the wedding of our dreams. From day one, Lauryn Mattson was by our side and guiding us through the entire wedding planning process. Every question, concern or request was handled with care and consideration. It was unbelievably easy to work with the Harrington team! We truly felt prepared for our big day; we met with Lauryn at least 4 times before the wedding which really put my anxieties at ease. We knew our options, we knew how the ceremony was going to go, and we knew we could rely on Lauryn and the Harrington staff. The food was delicious and fresh. I've received so many compliments about how amazing the food was! Our package included a wide selection of station boards, appetizers, dinner options, and even desserts! My guest raved about the coffee bar and how friendly the wait staff was. I personally feel that the packages are extremely generous given the price of it all. After speaking with some recently married friends, we learned that we got more for a fraction of the price they were paying. Not just a desirable location but we were also able to have our ceremony and reception in the same place! All in all, incredible staff, beautiful venue, delicious food, and a truly wonderful experience. Thank you Harrington Farm! We will never stop saying great things about this venue!

This is stunningly beautiful place for a natural setting wedding and it is near a pond too, so you…read morecan have pictures by the water. Heck, maybe you can arrive in style, being rowed in on a boat! For the budget bride who likes something a little different, this place is a find. You can submit a rental inquiry online now (thank goodness), and it includes a set price for the whole/half day, a dining/function hall 1400sq foot, hardwood floors, air conditionining, a fully equipped kitchen (for your caterer of choice), tables and seating (so you don't have to pay more for rental). I confess, I never got to visit this place since I ended up finding my wedding site at First Parish Church United in Westford, MA, but I obsessed about this place for a long time. The outdoor wedding, the wedding pictures on a lighted deck...you should definitely consider this place if you're very strict on budget (at the time it was $500 for the whole day) but still want to have a beautiful wedding for 100 people or less.

Don't even bother. I…read moreread Ross's review so I knew I was going to be dealing with slow communication and I was okay with that: I'm planning a wedding for 2018 or 2019 (1-2 years from now). No biggie. Replies were slow, and the person I was in contact with wasn't very open. I first contacted (I'll call him "Kal") at the end of March. He said he could only show the place on Sundays. My fiance works Sundays and can not get that day off... but after a few e-mails we decided that Sunday at 1 would be fine. We now needed to pick a Sunday. We picked one, which turned out to be Easter day (we could make it but Kal couldn't: totally understandable) but we kept going back and forth saying "that Sunday won't work for me" or "I can't do that Sunday", etc... Fine. I get it. People can be busy and we have a lot of time to plan this thing out: no hurry, no worries. Then one day I get an e-mail from Kal: "Unfortunately I am not available any of the dates that you have listed. we have reached our quota of rentals for this year, so rentals are closed for 2017. As a result I am not scheduling special appointments to show the lodge. I know you are looking for next year. We will not be reserving any dates or booking events for next year until January of 2018." Now, I don't know about you guys, but to me, that means "screw you, we already have made enough money with booking so we're not going to put in the effort to even show you the place." My fiance and I just wanted to see the place: that's all. Not have any booking or anything, just SEE IT. I sent an e-mail back (on April 11th) explaining that to Kal, but now it's May 6th and still no reply from Kal. As far as I know, this place just wants your money and that's it. My advise to anyone thinking about going to this place is... just don't bother. It was a waste of my time and it might be a waste of yours. (I am going to link Kal this review: maybe their customer service will be better from here on out) Good luck.

You get to read about and choose your own wine with options at 1, 3 or 5 ounces. We stayed for a while and enjoyed different variations of wine. I feel the pricing is fair, the only weird thing is that you're timed out after 12 ounces of wine. I find that strange as the standard pour of wine is 5 ounces so this is just slightly above two glasses. The food menu is small but the charcuterie and desserts that we saw seemed great! Definitely a good addition to the Maynard area!
