From the very start of the planning process, the staff was always readily and willingly available to answer any and all of my questions (trust me, there were plenty!) I never felt rushed. When we walked in we were greeted by several friendly faces and open arms (ready to take boxes, decorations, cake etc.) Annabelle was truly amazing! She continuously checked in with both my Husband and I to see if there was anything we or our guests needed. She even helped us set up the decorations, she truly went ABOVE and BEYOND!!! The owner Jeremy happened to stop by the day of our event and didn't leave before making sure he checked in. If you are contemplating having any type of celebration at MPower Athletics, book it! She created the name Stillness Power, which says it well. It's a good workout and mindful, too. The programs are varied, from mat yoga to aerial (which is great for all ages) to zumba and Bollywood dance. The dance teachers and the studio make these classes more interesting, fun, and a fabulous workout. Besides individual classes, you can bring families, come with a child, have parties or leadership retreats. If you can imagine it, Sanjyot is ready to try it with it with you. Suzanne has a real gift for explaining things and was extremely patient. The workshop was so much fun. We got handouts that I now keep in my camera bag for easy reference. We were given assignments and instructions before each activity. We had time then to practice then gather back as a group. After the class we went for coffee and had an opportunity to share our photos and get feedback from Suzanne. It was the best photography class I've ever had. I can't wait to take another when I return to Boston. I highly recommend the Curious Soul Photo School!

Bad news - it's a shitty hang. It's basically a catering room. No bar action at all. Speaking of the bar, good luck getting a bartender to pay attention to you. I saw one women stand in line for a drink for a half an hour....and she was 2nd in line! So, if you want to overpay to see your favorite band and you can scare up 5 of your best friends to reserve a table, you're good. Not sure if you have to buy food if you reserve a table. My husband and I had a wedding song which isn't really a frequent play, and John was more than willing to accommodate us and play our special song. It really made our night to have it as our wedding song! :) From start to finish, planning was an absolute breeze! John was extremely helpful in suggesting mother/son and father/daughter-in-law music. The mother/son pick turned out to be one of mom's favorite songs!! With only a few generic suggestions from us, the band played an amazing variety of music that suited us and every last guest. People we never expected to see dancing completely rocked the dance floor! I can honestly say that we left that night wondering what kind of party we can have next, just to have a reason to work with Shine Band again!! No DJ will ever compare to a live band, and Shine tops the charts!!! Thank you Shine for making our reception a night we will never forget!
