I have been to Michael Kors with the wife - she is into this brand. I like their stuff too (on her). The store is all glitzy and glamorous and modelesque sales associates are willing and ready to help you. But that can be a negative too coz they do make a very obvious effort to size you up if you are a real shopper or just a poser trying to be hip and all that! I do find that behavior a bit annoying but such is the price you pay for glam! My wife likes their products - both styles and quality and we do get good prices here at the outlet compared to retail stores! read more

This 1 star is for my very bad experience at this outlet store. We are reseller, we shopped at this store (for the first time) a week ago and made a bill over $500 included a promotion package of one Tote, one Crossbody, and one Wallet, and some T-shirts. Then we got 20% discount for that. However, no one there told me that my bill would be counted as a final sale and couldn't be able to return. After a couple of days, I had to stop by Mk outlet store at Clarksburg to return some of those items and the seller told me that I wouldn't be able to do that because those were final sale. There was 2 things happening: 1) The sellers explained that because I bought that as a reseller and have discount for that so they can't make them return for me due to a NEW policy of MK store. 2) I've never heard about the new policy until she told that, and I thought when I buy those at Leesburg for the first time, someone should let me know clearly. I called Mk outlet at Leesburg later on and luckily they let me return my items but as long as I return all things on my bill. But their attitude was not really reasonable. This afternoon, I came back and returned all items I bought on the bill. Once again, they show ed an angry attitude about that. As a reseller, I understand and accept whatever they told me about the new policy. However, I already explained to them and really wanted to return them because of my own reason and for the first time I didn't know about the policy. Then they added that would not accept all of my future return because I am reseller. It is fair for me? And Is this the thing that a MK staff expected to treat their customers? I am reseller. Yes. But I sometimes wanna be a regular customer and shop at MK or MK outlet store, and why they treated me like that with an unreasonable attitude that a big brand staff wouldn't be expected to do. It was not finished yet. I done with my return and went out, but later on I remembered that I had 2 MK bags I also needed to return for my mom. I brought them back to the store with my mom receipt. And still, they showed a negative attitude and didn't not accept my mom return with the reason that those things were final sale again and that they marked me as a reseller. Honestly, my second return in the same day might bother them, but those 2 bags my mom bought at Clarksburg and were confirmed that those are returnable. So, why their told me those are final sale and didn't let me return? If it is because they don't like me, it is not fair and correct. Because I just return for my mom, and it unrelated to my bill or my situation with them before. Anyway, they didn't make it with an angry attitude. That was what I didn't understand about the way they treat on the customer even though who they are. I may bother them somehow, but do I deserve to have their treatment like that? read more

I purchased a tote on 9/4/2023 for my sister as a present but she told me that she wants a smaller shoulder bag. So I went to store to return or change to other style on 9/8/2023 with a receipt. A lady who claimed as a manager, Miriana (?) refused to return or exchange because it doesn't have a price tag. I asked her business card to get her name but she said that she doesn't have and told her name as Miriana. I went to Coach store in front of Michael Kors and asked to sales persons whether I can't return if the bag doesn't have a price tag after I purchased a bag. They said that they will return it with a receipt within 30 days regardless of price tag. They advised they can find item information inside of the bag without a price tag. I went back to Michael Kors and told her but she said that Michael Kors has a different return policy and will call a security person if I don't leave a store immediately. This store is the most terrible retail store I have visited and purchased in my whole life. What kind of return policy in Michael Kors? is it a really Michael Kors's policy or her random policy? Fantastic prices on Michael Kors clothing. I personally don't like his handbags, but his clothing is always fresh and different. Remember, this is not cheap - but incredibly better prices than regular retail shops or boutiques. This is a must visit when you're in the area. I was told by a staff person that l could exchange my wallet for another one at the same price that they were offering me that day. However, when l went to go ahead and get the other wallet they said they wouldn't honor what the sales person said. The customer service provided here degrades the brand. As much as people pay to buy the product, I would expect to receive at least a decent customer service response when I am not happy about my product. I bought a bag not even a year ago (still under warranty) the bag had a rose plate as a handle and it was tarnished / showing oxidation, rust. When I brought it back to the Michael Kors' store, immediately was rejected by the first sales associate, and the issue was passed on to another person who supposedly was a manager. She did not help resolve any issues nor suggested an alternative but rather gave push back comments and repeatedly told me they were scratches and therefore is not covered under warranty. I quote "These are scratches, they are just black and different colors because it was scratched through the layers of this". A scratch is a scratch, tarnish is tarnish. I used the bag twice for an event that lasted about two hours and then it was placed in my closet for about 4 months. I guess during that two hours of usage, I must have been tough on the item that I scratched this rose plate so hard it went into the original material which is black, if that is the case then this material is cheap and I definitely paid a lot of money for a cheap material. After arguing with the manager for a while, she push my problems to someone who was next to her, who then pointed out my information was in the system but it did not showed that I bought this item at their particular store. Followed by comments such as "we actually do not participate in the warranty system at this store" and without a receipt I cannot help you, as she pointed to the warranty sign placed in her store. I don't need someone to point to me a sign, why don't you state your policy and then show it instead of telling customers, here read this. And how does a MICHAEL KORS STORE not participate in a warranty system that is universal to the brand but has a sign for it? Nothing positive was said back to me. This store itself gave me several reasons to not spend my money on MK products. read more

Rude staff and they train their employees to make you buy more. When you go home and decide to return it, you can't! You can only exchange or get store credit. Be careful when buying clothes and purses. They will sell you DAMAGED goods but won't exchange it. They sold me a scratched up watch and when I went to exchange it, they said I scratched it up in the 2 days. It was a gift, how could have I worn it and put several scratches on it when it wasn't even sized? read more

Beware Shoppers!!!!.....I bought 2 handbags from the outlet store last Saturday Oct 28th, the saleswoman said you have 21 days to return. I go in today to return one of the bag and the lady at the register who happens to be the supervisor tells me that I can return it for a exchange or store credit but no full refund and it says that on the receipt. I was like shouldn't you be saying that before we buy it and you hand out the receipt? Because at that point after you see it on the receipt you are stuck.....with a store credit or exchange. I asked the lady as to why they don't have signs anywhere that explains their return policy and she pointed me to a really small microscopic sign near the register. I was like Common Now.....who reads this? Don't you have to explain it every time a customer buys something? After all I spent $483 for a total of 2 bags and what if the bag was damaged and they didn't have a similar one? Then you are stuck... Mind you this is a outlet... So without giving up , I ask her....Can i use your store credit online? She says," No!!!" However she generously said I could use it at another MK Outlet or at Tysons ....... I gave my two cents to her and asked her to re train this associate who just said you can return it within 21 days but conveniently forgot to tell me about the store credit or exchange. As big as a brand MK is who would think they have such an outrageous return policy? I ended up returning both the bags today and got a Store credit for $483 which I am not sure when I will use..... Oh by the way the Store Credit never expires.....as the sales associate said!!!!! read more

I purchased a purse from Michaelkorkors-outlet.com as a Christmas present for my mother. This website claims its purses are authentic Michael Kor designs. When the purse arrived in the mail it was clear that it was not worthy of the money. The quality of the purse is lacking: the zipper ripped on the first zip, the handles are loose ; and the material is thin. I did not want to purchase a knock-off, I wanted a real designer purse. I demand a full refund and a more truthful representation on this website. This purchase ruined my Chirstmas gift to my mother and has become very embarssing for me. My mother thinks I would purchase her a knock off now. This has been very stressful for me. read more

I wasn't feeling this store so much, I use to like the brand but it has kinda gotten cheap, I feel coach is better quality. I went to this store on a Saturday I swore I saw a man wearing a dress. I never seen a women with such broad shoulders, she introduce herself to me and my husband, we told her we just wanted to look around, she didn't have the nicest smile or personality, so we kept on looking, we found a nice purse and watch, but the man who help us was being way to friendly with my husband, I swore he was hitting on him. It was very uncomfortable. I really don't recommend shopping from here, the service is terrible. read more
