After seeing doctors, chiropractors without much results I came upon Ivo's business. I have been seeing Neale for about a decade as he has moved through three different locations, so…read morethis review is long overdue. He has been a touchstone for my healing journey, and I've been seeing him weekly for years. I am not a person who normally feels comfortable with people touching my body, but Neale is not a typical massage therapist. He asks insightful questions and really listens to the answers I give, providing space so he can learn more about what is going on in my life that will inform his care. He has a very, very wide array of modalities in his toolbox and he is constantly learning more. Just a few of the modalities are sound healing, reiki, massage healing, massage, chakra readings, aromatherapy, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, and accupressure. He blends these seamlessly in sessions. He also attends trainings on a regular basis, expanding his repitoire, and keeping his skills very sharp. Neale is a trained musician, and as sound healing is my favorite modality and something that is not commonly found, he's truly been a blessing. He's very knowledgeable about many related methods of self-care one can practice outside of his sessions, and shares this information generously, taking the time to send resources via text. This includes (but is not limited to) suggested products to ground, poses to release tension, and general information. He goes above and beyond during session and even between sessions. I recommend him without any reservations. What are you waiting for? Book an appointment with Neale today!

I am a healthcare provider and dont want just soft talking and empathetic tones. I want it all. Neale is impressive in his knowledge of anatomy, physiology, functional medicine and wholistic care. He uses a wide-range of modalities balanced by my needs, comfort and feedback He has an incredible demeanor and is quite intuitive. He is engaged and always gives 100%. As a woman, I feel totally comfortable with him. My brother, a committed runner, also had visits with him. He reported that Neale made him comfortable though he never had a male massage therapist before. MY brother agreed with me that Neale gave the lifetime best massage He is part of the care team that I have used to avoid back surgery for multiple herniated discs. He has improved the quality of my life physically and emotionally. I cannot recommend Neale enough. Dont go anywhere else.

First, let me say, I did not get a massage here. I tried. Pretty hard, actually. But I called…read moreseveral times and left voicemails and just never got a call back. Unfortunately, I did pay for one via a deal site called Lifebooker, which I will not use again. I had actually forgotten about the deal after a few calls to Spencer Massage. It eventually expired, but laws were passed a couple of years ago that expired vouchers can still be used in their original value, even if the discount expires. I called Spencer massage again and asked for an appointment - I was willing to use my voucher's cash value and still pay extra to get my massage. So, to be clear, I called Spencer and left voicemails both before and after the voucher expired. Eventually I called Lifebooker and asked for my money back - they basically said "sorry, talk to Spencer Massage." And since Spencer Massage never returned a voicemail, I just filed a dispute with my credit card company. They had the nerve to challenge the dispute. So no, this is not a lost needle in a a haystack or lack of organization - they spoke to a representative and made some sort of case for why they deserved to keep my money. I don't know what they could have said, but it had to be a lie, since I paid for a service they refused to provide. So I lost the dispute, and they kept my $29. It's not much money, but I'm very unhappy with the whole situation in principle. And if you're considering getting a deal from them, I'd beware - you might be one of the lucky few who get an appointment and are happy with their services, or you might just end up losing $29.

Each time I think I've found the right therapist, only to discover the knot is back within a couple of days. So when a Groupon for Balanced Bodywork came around, I snapped it up. I had never had a musculoskeletal massage before, but it sounded good and Aaron's credentials sounded impressive, so off I went. The massage wasn't like the others that I had received in the past. Aaron worked on muscles that no other therapist had touched and explained the reasons behind my pain.
