I was easily able to book an appointment online. The confirmation email gave clear instructions on how to find the spot, prepare, and when to come. The location is so welcoming and cute. Ann Marie gave be a tour, asked questions to help guide my massage, and really listened to me. She checked on me throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable. She was able to cover areas a little more without me even saying anything! It was as if she was reading my mind. I'll definitely be back! read more

I had such terrible neck and shoulder pain before getting a massage here. It's amazing how much better I feel now. I can't recommend enough!

I've seen Ann Marie for massages several times, and she is outstanding. Her physical strength and deep knowledge of human physiology make her massages very effective. She uses perfect pressure and remembers my preferences, like avoiding my hands. After each session, she reviews my muscle condition and gives useful advice. I highly recommend Ann Marie for her strength, expertise, and personalized care! read more

Ann Marie is awesome. I've been going on a monthly basis the last few months and she's quickly picked up on tight spots and injuries in my body. (I get headaches and neck/back pain from sitting at a desk and exercise. I also have a few old knee injuries that flair up.) She's also giving me insight and tips on how to care for myself between sessions which is super helpful. I feel like I'm finally on the path to getting some long-term relief from issues that have bothered me for years. Thanks, Ann Marie! PS The space is also really pretty! read more

Ann Marie customizes a treatment with each session to work through my scoliosis and back spasms. They practice a holistic approach, taking the time to understand long term, strategic and effective improvement over momentary pampering, with techniques ranging from deep tissue to cupping to targeting stress pressure point areas. On top of that, Ann Marie genuinely cares and is a pleasure to talk with. Thanks, Ann Marie! You've made such an impact on me and I'm grateful to continue treatment with you :) read more

Anne Marie is is amazing and the sweetest person. I've been seeing her for over a year now and every appointment with her has been consistently great. She knows how to give just the right amount of pressure in all the right spots. I love that she does cupping too because I get so much relief from that as well. I'm so glad I found Anne Marie because finding a massage therapist that intuitively knows how to give a good therapeutic massage is hard to find. read more

So Anne Marie changed my whole experience with getting a massage. I was never comfortable with the whole idea, but knew I needed something semi-magical to happen re: my back, neck etc. So one referral later I found exactly what I was looking for thus this glowing review. Everything about the whole experience is pretty perfect. Anne Marie is cool, funny, smart, absurdly accommodating and last, but hardly least, an amazing massage therapist. She introduced me to the world of cupping and I am hooked. Couldn't be happier and won't go anywhere else lest I be a damn fool! read more

This review is long overdue. Ann Marie is truly an expert with bodywork. I am a hair stylist, which means my muscles are in need of a lot of attention. I go every five weeks for a tune up. I don't know how I functioned before going to AMK Massage. Somehow she manages to get rid of all of my tight spots and I can relax at the same time. That is not always an easy task. She is also just a super cool chill person. If you're wondering if you should book an appointment, the answer is yes, you should! read more

I flew into town for a wedding and knew I would be a miserable guest if I didn't solve this recurring shoulder pain that kicks up every few months - that thing that always knots up under the wing bone, impossible to stretch, seems to affect every part of your back. I know, it's my posture, but between the luggage, the plane ride, and the stress, I needed an emergency massage so I pushed out an SOS via yelp to licensed massage therapists near my hotel. Enter Anne Marie! (aka my savior!) Not only was Anne Marie quick to respond and fit me in, but she had a warm disposition, a ton of knowledge about different therapies (I honestly didn't know there were so many!) and the credentials to back them up. I felt great knowing I wasn't just selecting one thing off a menu and feeling like another number for the day. Instead, I felt like a wellness patient with a custom treatment plan. I was glad to see her space was super clean and welcome and we went over my issues and preferred pressure so that I'd be comfortable. And the best part? She can give really strong massages. I'm usually disappointed at pressure levels, and always have to ask again and again to have it increased, but after our initial chat, it was awesome, and she seemed to intuitively know what to do, and where to scale back! And the wedding? I danced instead of sitting down! Thank you Anne Marie! read more

Ann Marie has been my massage therapist for over 3 years and there is no one like her. Truly! She listens to what my needs are and pays attention. She has been the only massage therapist who is so attuned to my needs on the massage table that she knows what part of my body needs special attention before I can even tell her. When I was pregnant she treated me with compassion, kindness and care that all expectant mothers deserve. In fact, she gave me the most wonderful massage two days before my baby entered the world. She helped me get my body and mind ready for labor. Ann Marie is attuned, attentive, caring and truly a gift to the massage therapy world and her clients. When you choose her as your massage therapist, you know you are in GREAT hands! read more

I have so enjoyed every experience I've had with Ann Marie! I've gotten massages and cupping done by her, and both were so helpful and healing! As a dancer and someone who works a lot on their feet and exercises a lot, I often have a lot of tightness and soreness in my body, and Ann Marie's massages helped me tremendously. I've started a standing monthly appointment and I'm super excited to keep coming back! She's a lovely masseuse and a lovely human as well. She can make anyone feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend Ann Marie for massage therapy services. She was extremely communicative and organized throughout the booking process. The massage itself was incredible- safety and comfort were clearly a priority for her throughout the process and she took wonderful care of me. I walked in feeling so sore and stiff and emerged feeling so much more limber and relaxed. The space itself is immaculately clean and Ann Marie uses minimalist/organic products during the massage. I will definitely be back soon! read more

I sought out massage therapy due to my physically intensive job causing a fair bit of chronic pain. The experience was great start to finish. The space is easy to find and very cozy. As it was my first visit we spent about 20 minutes beforehand discussing goals of treatment, specific concerns, etc, which is not an experience I've had at other places. She really listened and devised a treatment method that really worked for my body. The therapeutic effects were both immediate and very helpful, opening up a lot of shoulder and lower back pain I've been carrying for a while. I've already started scheduling monthly appointments. read more

I had my first massage with Ann Marie last week, and let me tell you, I feel like a whole new person! I rely heavily on massage work to keep my body in working condition, as I've been in the beauty industry for the past 20 years and I've had hundreds of massages. This massage was definitely in my top five of ALL TIME. I had a terrible overuse injury in my thumb and Ann Marie not only addressed the thumb, but all of the connective muscles that could be exacerbating the issue. The next day was the first I didn't feel any pain in MONTHS. She is a very skilled healer and very professional and sweet to boot! She understands what your body needs, so if you want your body to feel better, I'd highly suggest AMK Massage. You won't be disappointed! read more

I had a bad experience getting a massage some time ago that soured me from massages for years. I was feeling like I needed some much-needed self-care and decided to try again. I immediately trusted Ann Marie because she shares a space with Re: Chiropractic (equally amazing. been seeing Sarah there for a couple of years and she is great). I arrived and Ann Marie greeted me warmly. We chatted at length about my previous experience and why I was looking for one now. She took the time to explain how the massage would proceed and assured me repeatedly that I could speak up if I was uncomfortable at any moment. I already felt so much more at ease. Then the massage started. It was absolutely perfect. It felt like what I expected the first massage to feel like. So relaxing and thorough. She checked in on me throughout to be sure I was comfortable. Later that day I went ahead and booked my next appointment. I would definitely recommend Ann Marie if you are feeling nervous. Or even if you are not. It was everything I wanted and needed. read more

I was leary of massage because of some negative experiences, but after talking with Ann Marie, I felt comfortable enough to try again with her. I'm so glad I did! She listened and took to heart everything I had communicated that was associated with the past experiences, and won me over with her determination to make me feel better and to give me a positive experience. I look forward to my regular monthly massages now, and appreciate how knowledgeable Ann Marie is about various techniques like cupping and gua sha. She works techniques in as she feels where my tension is and I feel like I'm in such good hands. I have carpal tunnel and TMJ, and the techniques she uses have been helping with both of those conditions! If you're looking for someone that's sensitive to your needs and knowledgeable about her work and the human body, put yourself in Ann Marie's extremely capable hands - you'll be very glad you did! The space she's in is extremely clean and welcoming as well. 5 stars! read more
