Having had extensive procedures in several other parts of the country (including several crowns and an implant that were well done by my previous provider, in San Diego), I was unsure I'd find an office in Tucson that could match the level of expertise I've had elsewhere. Dr. Mitchell made that simple -- he not only has excellent depth in general and aesthetic dentistry but is also just an incredibly nice person. I'm someone who experiences major anxiety in the chair, and I've found Dr. Mitchell's easygoing demeanor a huge relief. I also appreciate that the hygienist is extremely respectful and patient-focused. For instance, I'd had my last bitewings eleven months before, and before my arrival, she had noticed that and double-checked with my insurance to ensure I was eligible, but more important, she also asked me if I would prefer to have them a little early or wait until my next visit. It's completely refreshing to have the staff ask what the patient wants, instead of trying to push services or products. Another major advantage is the office itself -- located on Grant Road (north lane, next door to Black Rock Coffee, just across the street from the Mercedes Benz dealer and slightly west of the post office), the building has ample covered parking, and the interior capitalizes perfectly on stunning views of the Catalinas, with several exam chairs facing straight out to the gorgeous scenery...just another way to feel relaxed and happy in a place dedicated to making you flash your best smile!

I had to see our old dentist who was late to save a tooth( tooth had bone infection that was spreading) and after taking 2 weeks of antibiotics we ended up paying $150 for X-rays that's usually covered by insurance and additional $ for the extraction of the tooth since Dr Carson's office used all the money allowed for a full mouth and panoramic X-rays for the next 3yrs and any work in a 12 months period. Maybe Bitewings X-rays will be paid next year by our insurance but not sure at the moment. It's very said that these type of dentist exists. Don't go here if you want to keep your teeth. Stay away!

She was greeted with a smile and welcomed by the Dentist and the staff. In the past, this was not the case at 2 other offices. She had had 3 appointments to date for dental implants and they have been outstanding! This office actually cares about then patience experience. They describe in detail what will take place during the dental implant process. In detail! The entire office staff are great! This has been the best dental experience my wife has ever had. Another plus, it costs are reasonable. She has several more appointments to complete the implant process and she is looking forward to once again having a smile to show others. We definitely have and will let others know about this dental office. They also take dental insurance. Bottom line - one great office with exceptional staff!!! HIGHLY recommend this place for your dental needs.

I would rather perform…read moremy own appendectomy with a steak knife than I would willingly stretch out on the dentist's chair but my teeth--the few that remained--bore mute testimony to decades of neglect and abuse. Time to bite the bullet...or at least gum the cartridge. Just five months later I have an entirely new set of titanium insert supported teeth that look better and feel as secure as the originals ever did. My own? You bet. I've already paid for them. Now I can eat, talk and smile with confidence and I don't frighten small children and domestic pets when I open my mouth. During the process of dental extraction and placement of inserts, I experienced my first sedative surgery. I was conscious but the process truly was painless. I left the office following surgery with what is known as an immediate denture which enabled me to eat and talk while my gums were healing and the inserts were osseointegrating (becoming part of my bone structure). Dr. Jasmyne Samuels, her dental technicians Laura and Olivia, and the front office staff Denise and Kelly guided me through this process with more care and cheerfulness than I would ever have expected possible considering my high level of apprehension and innate grouchiness. I don't often recommend businesses--what I like you may not--but in this case, if you need dental work, consider Dr. Samuels and her team at Wellness Dental. I think you'll be glad you did.
